There were no meat dishes. Quite a few gluten free options. We had a mushroom ravioli which was good but extremely fatty and a grouper which had too many sweet accompaniments.
By far, the best gluten free pizza I’ve had anywhere and I’ve tried many! The waitress informed us that the crust was made from scratch, which is even more impressive. Will eat here every year when we come to Waynesville/Maggie Valley area. Highly recommend.
The staff is friendly, store is logically organized and the biggest benefit for us is the variety of gluten free items! I have two in my family that have to eat gluten free and Ingles is the best local spot to get what we need. Thank you, Ingles!
1st time here. Hidden in Hazelwood area of Waynesville. Staff was friendly, food was hot, fresh and delicious. Husband and I shared the western omelet and it was huge. Sister is gluten free and couldn't stop saying how great the grits were. Will make this a definite stop when we're in town.
We were searching for some gluten free and vegan food that actually had some nutrient density to it, along with flavor. Found this place on the Happy Cow app and so glad that we stopped in. Great service and food. They offer gluten free soy sauce and can make a lot of the dishes gluten free. Some of them can definitely be made vegan also, but not as many can be made both gluten free and vegan. Our server was great and gave me suggestions for what I could have that fit my dietary restrictions. I got the veggie tofu stir fry with brown rice and my husband got the fried rice with tofu. We had the edamame as a starter. I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and my husband had an IPA from Highland Brewing in Asheville.
Overall, great service, food and atmosphere. Would definitely go back if we're ever in the area again.
Such a cute and friendly little place! This is my second visit. The first time was about 2 years ago, and I had an awesome breakfast burrito. This time, they didn’t have the burrito on the menu, but I had the Jammy Sammy, which was also excellent. When my husband was trying to find something gluten and dairy free to eat, they were so accommodating and made him a nice egg, bacon and veggie plate. Oh, and the coffee is great too! Can’t recommend this place enough!
Delicious pizza, including gluten free. The fry basket is so good with several different types of fries. The salads are awesome and so big you really can share between two people. We even still brought some home. Worth a try, and you'll probably want to go back!
Celebrated our 30th Anniversary with dinner at Singletree. Our server was Autumn. She was attentive and helpful with identifying gluten-free options for my wife. We ordered the Blue Crab Fritters as an appetizer. Wow! So good! Could've ate a plate full of those. We ordered scallops and softshell crab for entrees. Both were cooked to perfection. The restaurant atmosphere is great! There is a full bar available and an extensive wine selection. Definitely check out Singletree !!
Good food and service overall. Staff was aware of gluten-free options and able to answer questions.
Concerned a little regarding sanitation, as everyone was sitting around together and pulled their masks up as I came in the door. Also be aware they’re not okay with the term “happy holidays” only Merry Christmas.
Gluten free bagels! DELICIOUS! I don’t eat lots of bread as gluten free options can be hit or miss (mostly miss, let’s be honest here) and these were a hit! Great and friendly service by the two gals in the front, as well. Tasty coffee, too!
Fair prices, kind employees, and top notch treats! I would highly recommend the chicken pot pie. They have tons of options for GF folks, too.
Note- I took 1 star off for atmosphere because they have no Wi-Fi. This would be the perfect place to do a little studying if they did!
(Response to Owner) Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review! I will definitely be back- my Dad is gluten free and I am looking forward to bringing him so he can try some of your tasty options. I think it's great that you are hoping to transition the space to accommodate those who want to stick around inside for a while. It would definitely become my favorite study spot in town :)
Delicious restaurant with a very good seafood menu but also excellent steaks and a maximum choice suitable for coeliacs; the chowder is a delight. A very good address with a nice selection of wines.
Didn't know we'd walk out of there having spent $175, plus tip, but honestly, it was worth it. Well worth it. It'd be cheaper if we didn't both have two drinks, and if I hadn't gotten the $40 duck plate. My glasses of wine were $12 each which is pretty steep, but to be truthful, that was the best Malbec I've had, ever. With a few modifications it would still be a fantastic dinner for right around a $100 plus tip. The roasted Romaine salad was mind-bogglingly good. And really, that duck was phenomenal. I definitely plan to get it again, but maybe not for another year! LOL. If you want the most attentive service you can imagine without it being overbearing, and if you want every morsel of food that you place inside your mouth to be the best thing you've tasted in a really long time, then this is where you should eat if you're within an hour of Waynesville. Our server was incredible, the food was divine, and nothing could have been better... well, actually, the Grenache Cake should have been made as a gluten-free flourless chocolate tort with Grenache frosting, rather than having a normal chocolate cake inside. But that's the only "complaint" and it's not that big a deal cuz I didn't actually want dessert.
Wonderful evening, great service, live classical guitar music and perfect wine choices. I am gluten free and was surprised when the chef came out to make recommendations from her menu which were so helpful. The waitress have us a tasty wine that we ended up loving. Spend the evening there, you won't regret it but bring a sweater because it is an underground restaurant and quite chilly.
I dont know why this place isn't packed. Looks like you just stepped back in time to an ole time diner w seated counter, booths and fixtures. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. They have a great breakfast offering. Staff was fast and friendly. Accommodating to gluten free people. Will eat here again when in town. Gotta try dinner. Dessert cabinet looked delicious.

Today was my first visit. I ordered beef and cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. I was shocked at how good it was! The flavor of each individual item was way better than other Mexican restaurants in the area. It tasted like fresh, homemade ingredient with love. My only disappointment was the chips are fried in the same fryer as flour tortillas and I have celiac disease; however, my server knew what to sub in my meal to make it work. Perfect hole in the wall spot and I will be back. Service was great as well.
