Waynesville Main Street Diner

I dont know why this place isn't packed. Looks like you just stepped back in time to an ole time diner w seated counter, booths and fixtures. Food was hot, fresh and delicious.They have a great breakfast offering. Staff was fast and friendly. Accommodating to gluten free people. Will eat here again when in town. Gotta try dinner. Dessert cabinet looked delicious.

Gluten-free bread and their chili is outstanding, & phenomenal with A Southern sweet taste to it, the hubby ordered the blackened trout and he said it was phenomenal and don't forget to ask for Elizabeth she's an outstanding waitress. Our son ordered a DiCarlo chicken wrap and he ate the whole thing said it was outstanding as well my brother had the hot dog with chili on it with a bowl of chili which is the same great recipe that he remembers from the 60s. I highly recommend any new person to stop in and see this adorable Diner with outstanding service, & the restaurant is spotless and the staff is friendly and have smiling faces. We all highly recommend this place, as we will visit again if ever in the area aa we are passing thru the area as we live in Florida.
