There were no meat dishes. Quite a few gluten free options. We had a mushroom ravioli which was good but extremely fatty and a grouper which had too many sweet accompaniments.
By far, the best gluten free pizza I’ve had anywhere and I’ve tried many! The waitress informed us that the crust was made from scratch, which is even more impressive. Will eat here every year when we come to Waynesville/Maggie Valley area. Highly recommend.
1st time here. Hidden in Hazelwood area of Waynesville. Staff was friendly, food was hot, fresh and delicious. Husband and I shared the western omelet and it was huge. Sister is gluten free and couldn't stop saying how great the grits were. Will make this a definite stop when we're in town.
Such a cute and friendly little place! This is my second visit. The first time was about 2 years ago, and I had an awesome breakfast burrito. This time, they didn’t have the burrito on the menu, but I had the Jammy Sammy, which was also excellent. When my husband was trying to find something gluten and dairy free to eat, they were so accommodating and made him a nice egg, bacon and veggie plate. Oh, and the coffee is great too! Can’t recommend this place enough!
Delicious pizza, including gluten free. The fry basket is so good with several different types of fries. The salads are awesome and so big you really can share between two people. We even still brought some home. Worth a try, and you'll probably want to go back!
Celebrated our 30th Anniversary with dinner at Singletree. Our server was Autumn. She was attentive and helpful with identifying gluten-free options for my wife. We ordered the Blue Crab Fritters as an appetizer. Wow! So good! Could've ate a plate full of those. We ordered scallops and softshell crab for entrees. Both were cooked to perfection. The restaurant atmosphere is great! There is a full bar available and an extensive wine selection. Definitely check out Singletree !!
Good food and service overall. Staff was aware of gluten-free options and able to answer questions.
Concerned a little regarding sanitation, as everyone was sitting around together and pulled their masks up as I came in the door. Also be aware they’re not okay with the term “happy holidays” only Merry Christmas.
Didn't know we'd walk out of there having spent $175, plus tip, but honestly, it was worth it. Well worth it. It'd be cheaper if we didn't both have two drinks, and if I hadn't gotten the $40 duck plate. My glasses of wine were $12 each which is pretty steep, but to be truthful, that was the best Malbec I've had, ever. With a few modifications it would still be a fantastic dinner for right around a $100 plus tip. The roasted Romaine salad was mind-bogglingly good. And really, that duck was phenomenal. I definitely plan to get it again, but maybe not for another year! LOL. If you want the most attentive service you can imagine without it being overbearing, and if you want every morsel of food that you place inside your mouth to be the best thing you've tasted in a really long time, then this is where you should eat if you're within an hour of Waynesville. Our server was incredible, the food was divine, and nothing could have been better... well, actually, the Grenache Cake should have been made as a gluten-free flourless chocolate tort with Grenache frosting, rather than having a normal chocolate cake inside. But that's the only "complaint" and it's not that big a deal cuz I didn't actually want dessert.
I dont know why this place isn't packed. Looks like you just stepped back in time to an ole time diner w seated counter, booths and fixtures. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. They have a great breakfast offering. Staff was fast and friendly. Accommodating to gluten free people. Will eat here again when in town. Gotta try dinner. Dessert cabinet looked delicious.
