If you’re looking for a southern breakfast with southern hospitality, this is your place. Our server, Addie, was as sweet as pie and simply “darling”. We chose Flapjack’s because our daughter had celiac and they make gluten free pancakes from scratch (no cross-contamination). You can choose from any of the pancakes on the menu too!
We had a side of twisted bacon and flapjack fritters that were yummy! Although the banana walnut pancakes are a house favorite, I didn’t love them. The three thick stuffed pancakes were too much for me and they were a bit dense and dry. However, the warm bottle of maple syrup was sweeeet!! All-in-all in was an excellent experience and the whole family left feeling full and satisfied.
wow! excellent food, large portions, pork ribs, pulled pork, sandwiches, fries, coleslaw. Owner cook is very careful and knowledgeable about gluten free and dairy. Just ask about ingredients. Very pleasent staff. Wish we lived closer. But we will definitely make this a routine stop when in Gatlinburg.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they put croutons in a salad that was supposed to be gluten-free, but the server and manager both responded awesomely, apologized, and had the salad remade really quickly. The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. The rosemary infused bread was so good and the crab cakes were the best we've tasted!
All the workers were very kind. AMAZING FOOD! My dad struggles to find gluten free good food and if you do too then please come here. Almost the entire menu can be made gluten free!! My dad loves it! I got the crepes (not gluten free) and they were so good. My dad got gluten free pancakes and you can not tell the difference from a regular pancake it’s amazing!

What an incredible restaurant. We really enjoyed our dinner and were thankful they were open late since we came in after exploring the Smokies.
I loved to watch him crack open my whole lobster to get the meat out for me.
Lots of gluten free options. Fresh seafood. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.
I have celiac disease and a dairy allergy and the accommodations were beyond my expectations. As soon as I mentioned my dietary restrictions they had the manager come take my order to make sure what I wanted was safe. They clean things to make sure there’s no cross contamination. I never got sick here and it’s one of my favorite places to eat at every time I visit Gatlinburg. Highly recommend especially if you have celiac disease. Staff was really lovely and I also really appreciated how kid friendly the bathrooms were (step stool, paper towels instead of loud scary hand driers)
Pleasantly surprised by this spot! Stopped in for dinner on the last day of our trip, wish we came here sooner!
As someone with food allergies, this restaurant was the absolute best at handling it the whole time I've been down here. They had an allergy card written out and stapled to our order, and they were able to tell me what options were and were not safe. Also, no additional charge for gluten free wrap!
They handle allergies well, have really good food and good portions, all for completely reasonable prices (~$15 a person for a full dinner meal).
Super good! There was a really nice waitress. She's one of those sweet southern ladies that make you wish you could live in Tennessee. They also had Gluten-free options. Kinda limited though. I wish the barbecue sauce was Gluten-free.
I got the BBQ burger to go. Super fast service and the burger was delicious, and the fries were excellent too! BIG BONUS on a great tasting gluten free bun! GF and celiacs folks definitely should check it out
We chose this restaurant initially for the gluten free options that were readily available on the menu. The waitstaff and management all took great interest making sure all of our dietary restrictions were met, with proof of ingredients, and follow up with "is this right for you" when the meal was served. Of note, the menu does list and identify all meals that are either gluten free or can be made gluten free, i.e. using either gluten free bread to a gluten free pizza crust.
Three trips to the restaurant, yielding three good meals. Ranging from multiple different hamburgers, pizza, chicken/bacon cheddar sandwiches and a cheeseburger bowl. Tater tots, were exceptionally good here.
Very laid back atmosphere, with attentive employees. This place does validate parking for 3 hours which was very helpful. Parking is plentiful in an open lot down the alley behind the groups of restaurants.
Really glad we found this place.
Gluten free cookie dough! This place was great. Prices were a little high but were totally worth it. I have a child with celiac and the staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free and they have a ton of options available. Family of five and we all got milkshakes with cookie dough. Was a perfect dessert.
This is a typical 5 guys, great if your not celiac. My wife and I are celiac, while traveling this is a typical safe place to eat fries. We had to watch very carefully as we almost had contaminated food. This location is in the heart of Gatlinburg,a very busy location.
Love the non-dairy ice cream options. The whip cream is still dairy, so be sure to ask for it without if you’re non-dairy.
They do have an allergy protocol, they mark them with an allergy stick so you know. The simple milkshake worked best for vegan/gluten free (the toppings are a lot to begin with, so you might go that route if you’re not being too indulgent).
You get to keep the glass afterwards (they have a wash station and plastic bags), a cool souvenir!
We like the fact that we are supporting a “mom and pop” establishment when coming here. The prices are better than anywhere else we’ve been to. From the regular coffee to the decaf cappuccinos, their drinks are delicious. The absolute best gluten free muffins anywhere. Never have had better. If they didn’t tell you they were gluten free, you’d never know it.
Absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was fantastic. He made sure that I was well taken care of whilst being gluten free & vegetarian. I was able to get the beyond burger -no secret sauce- with a gluten free bun and delicious mashed potatoes. Extremely happy. Everyone’s food was delicious & we had a great time.
Absolutely fabulous restaurant with romantic vibes and delicious food. Enjoyed ourselves from start to finish and loved the gluten-free accommodations provided. The spoon bread and lemon sorbet were excellent additions to the dinner. My duck was cooked perfectly with a divine layer of cheddar grits underneath. Can't wait to visit again!
Food was delicious, they have mutiple veggie and gluten free options. Hot Seoul gluten free burger was really delicious. Highly recommended for gluten allergy people.
The cauliflower pizza (gluten free / possible cross contamination) was really really yummy!! The blackberry lemonade cider was really yummy. Pretzels were good too!
We had an incredible experience at The Melting Pot in Gatlinburg, thanks to our server, Dylan. His professionalism and gentle, polite demeanor set the perfect tone for our evening. Dylan timed each check-in perfectly and went above and beyond by accommodating my wife’s gluten-free needs. He even surprised us with a “Congratulations, Lovebirds” chocolate-decorated plate, making our celebration even more special. Dylan also guided us through the menu with helpful recommendations, which made our meal truly memorable. Highly recommend asking for Dylan if you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience!
My ribeye was cooked to perfection and the salad bar was great as well. Too bad there weren’t any gluten-free desserts. Be sure to ask for a table by the river!
We brought two of our granddaughters here. They split the butterflied trout dinner instead of a kids meal and loved it! My husband and I both got the parmasean trout (gluten free!). Everything was delicious and the service was perfect! Highly recommended!
Came here because it was the only other place that had Gluten Free items besides a pizza joint. I ordered the Gf enchilada plate and it was great, I did not get sick! The food also came out very fast.
I believe you have to order it Gf because I was served black beans instead of the normal pinto refried beans.
Beware of the tortilla chips, the waiter told me that they are fried with other items.
Nice family-friendly place to eat.
Leslie is top-notch wait and bar staff.
Highly rated on her Long Island Ice Tea.
The food is absolutely wonderful.
Gluten-free options are great! (Meatballs!!!!)
Near Edge of town.
They do NOT have gluten free pancakes. There are a handful of reviews about gluten free pancakes, but my server told me they do not have any GF pancakes, bread, crepes, etc. the omelet was subpar and I believe used canned mushrooms. Just not my cup of tea.
I ordered two large gluten free pizza's. One pizza was extra cheese, jalapeños, & pepperonis. One pizza was ham extra cheese, & onions. Our bill was $68.20. I about died but was starving & wore out so got em. The crust was so thin & overcooked so bad the edges felt like they would break our teeth out. Neither pizza was very good. So got ripped off at this place. I went by others reviews & was very disappointed. Others dining inside were complaining about their stuff being burnt.
Amber was amazing! She and the lady working with her took the time to help us find the perfect ice cream for a gluten free need. She even went the extra mile to make sure she used new utensils to scoop the ice cream with. Thank you Amber for being so kind and caring and helpful!
The restaurant offers excellent food and ambiance. I highly recommend securing a patio table near the stream. As a celiac, I safely enjoyed both their cauliflower and gluten-free crust pizzas. The bar also features a fine selection of reasonably priced whiskeys. We dined there twice in three days and plan to return.
Food was great, they even have gluten free bread which is hard to come by. Had to wait a decent time however, they communicated that in the very beginning. Awesome cute place.
If you're ever in Gatlinburg stop by the Tennessee cider company! We had a truly wonderful experience! The staff was helpful, especially Hunter! We were able to sample a few ciders before purchasing! Each one we tried was better than the previous! All of the ciders are gluten free and made with natural ingredients! I highly recommend visiting! I wish I could find these ciders in my hometown!!!
This place is amazing! Staff is amazing. They had gluuten free pancakes so I was able to enjoy breakfast with my family. The owner even spoke with our table about the gluten free pancakes. Will definitely revisit.
Awesome off the strip dining, and everything was 100% on point. Interesting flavors, extremely fresh food, excellent service, and when I say everything was perfect, i am not exaggerating. It can be tough to find healthy meals in this area. This place is as nutritious as it is tasty, with vegetarian and gluten-free options as well. Hate to make it too crowded but they deserve success for the quality they are serving up! This was my fourth time here and hopefully many more. I would love to see it become a permanent and well-loved Gatlinburg restaurant!
We went to Ole Red for our first dinner in Gatlinburg. The food was really good and the restaurant has a fun atmosphere. My son was thankful for the gluten free bun option so that he could enjoy a burger. The best part of our experience was our server, Mike. He was super friendly and was very kind when our son accidentally knocked a drink down. Mike told some funny stories and put our son at ease and helped keep the evening rolling smoothly. Thanks Mike!!
