Cranky Al's is ALWAYSSSSS busy. Get there earlyyyy or preorder the day before. The best donuts in Tosa, hands down! They also have gluten free donuts. They also serve other delicious goods... Our go-to's are the burritos, breakfast pizza and waffle chicken bites. They definitely need to expand... The line is always snaking around and seating is limited.

Attentive and fast service. A good amount of tables. No wait on a Saturday night but full restaurant. Good food-- we had pizza. Standard red sauce entrees and pizza with a few twists. Basic italian but delicious desserts( cannoli, spumono and tiramisu. We saw gluten free options for people who wanted them.

Thank you for having gluten friendly crust! I enjoy that Mod has so many pizza toppings to choose from at no additional charge. It's a great deal and always hits the spot. They also offer dairy free cheese for those with a vegan lifestyle or lactose intolerance.

Great drinks, fantastic food, very good pricing for the quality of food! The downstairs tables are quite close together. I felt very intimate with my neighbors, they heard my conversations and I heard there's. Dessert was top notch! The servers Gluten free knowledge was impressive and comforting, the selection was good. The pokemon in this area is unreal, good luck trying to catch them all!!

Highly impressed & satisfied. All plant based with gluten free options. Very reasonable prices for such high quality food! The atmosphere is inviting& the seats are so comfortable! I would love a location at the East Side of Milwaukee! It'd also be cool if they sold merch like beanies or sweatshirt- definitely a new favorite!

Really great first visit at this place! First off— super cool location. The Tosa village is gorgeous and you get a great view if you’re near a window. I also really loved that it’s a 2 story restaurant— not sure why but those have always been super cool to me! I went for brunch but hope to stop in for dinner for sure now. I was meeting a friend who I hadn’t seen in a while, RSVP’d online and made note that it was our first time and asked for a cool spot which they were excited to do! Their brunch menu has a great variety of options. I have a gluten allergy, and they had a whole separate menu and the server was knowledgeable (came back to confirm something would be ok for me). The burrata was SO fresh and delicious. My friend and I were blown away by how yummy it was. Pictured with the burrata is my Rhubarb mimosa and my friend got a Bellini. My entree I got the dry aged burger and it was soooo yummy. My steak fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Whole experience was very pleasant and I can’t wait to come back!!

Gluten-free buns!! I’ve only ordered takeout here so I can’t speak to the ambiance but the food is great!! I had a hbcb (honey butter chicken biscuit) and fries. It was a lot of food so the leftovers held me over. The biscuit was so delicious and flavorful. The fries were perfectly crispy. Husband got a caramelized onion burger and really enjoyed that too. He didn’t mind the gluten free bun so that’s a win!

A quaint spot with a family table by an open window, perfect for dining in or taking out, and known for its combo and laulau plates.

I tried the combo plate and laulau plate. All the meats and sides were good. I prefer stuff a little more salted but there's hot chili and pink salt on the side of the laulau plate which helped everything. The coconut cake had a good flavor but was dry maybe because it is gluten free. Will try out their other desserts that looked good next time!
