Below-average pizza at a high (highway) price...
We picked up a pizza there because my wife is gluten intolerant, and Pizza Plus offers pizza with gluten-free crust.
They forgot the onions on my tonno (luckily, they didn't charge for it), and we only noticed it when we got home.
The regular tonno crust (€14.90) was very soft and fluffy, so you have to use cutlery to eat the pizza otherwise the toppings fall off, and the crust was anything but crispy. The cheese and tuna on the tonno tasted greasy and cheap.
The gluten-free pizza was deep black all over. According to my wife, the taste was "OK." For just under €17.40 for a gluten-free pizza, "OK" is too low.
There are much better pizzas in Villach for this price.
I certainly won't be visiting Pizza Plus again.

Abbiamo scoperto this post of a blog by Celiac, with the tradition in the family of fare a giro in Austria dal Friuli per mangiare la Wiener e fare spese pazze, ma da quando my mother, my sorella and my nipote Hanno scoperto di essere Celiache avevamo smesso. Questo posto è stateta una bellissima sorpresa. Mangiare nel parco esterno sotto gli ippocastani secolari nella bella stagione è proprio rilassante. Molto prepare sul senza glutine, fanno wiener accompagnate da patate prezzemolate glutenfree ottime, non si sente minimamente the difference. So the fanno also has other children for the Celiac, but it doesn't work well. Adoro che servano also the insalata mista assieme alla portata principale. Peccato solo che siano chiusi nel week end. Perfetto poter prenotare via email, soprattutto via chi non parla bene tedesco al telefono! È consigliabile prenotare perché il posto è molto frequentato a pranzo. Se la cavano molto bene with l’italiano, tra l’altro, purely non-essendo un luogo turistico. Auntie congratulations!

We discovered this restaurant through a blog for people with celiac disease. It used to be a tradition in our family to take a trip from Friuli to Austria to eat Wiener Schnitzel and do extensive shopping. But since my mother, sister, and niece were diagnosed with celiac disease, we'd stopped. This restaurant was a wonderful surprise.
Eating outside under the old chestnut trees in the warmer months is wonderfully relaxing. The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten-free diets. They serve excellent gluten-free Wiener schnitzel with parsley potatoes—you can't taste any difference from the classic version. I know they offer other dishes for celiacs, but we haven't tried them yet.
I love that they serve the main course with a mixed salad. It's just a shame they're closed on weekends.
It's great that you can make reservations by email—especially for those who don't speak German very well on the phone. Reservations are definitely recommended, as the restaurant gets very busy at lunchtime. They also speak Italian well, even though it's not a typical tourist spot.

We were on a vacation trip and just happened to stop here. Since I have celiac disease, it was a big surprise when the waitress happily told us that they also had gluten-free pizza. The pizza was very very very tasty and compared to other gluten-free ones in Milan, where I've had the best so far, it was just as good or maybe even better...
