Gluten-free pizza is plus 3 euros everywhere, here there is no information and they add plus 4. The most amazing pesto pasta I have ever tasted!!! Handmade and fresh - it certainly showed!! Every single bite was so full of rich flavor and delight. Perfect portion size - it was very filling! I usually experience unpleasant symptoms when eating gluten, but I was able to eat this without negative effects!
They also do have quite a few gluten free options. My husband got a GF pizza, which was delicious. Staff were cordial and looked like they actually enjoyed working there! Nice atmosphere inside and out. I am still missing that pasta!!

Good morning,
We made a reservation for the evening of September 28 several days in advance, specifying that we were allergic to gluten.
We showed up in the evening specifying our allergy again and the waiter told us that we could eat the whole menu and that they would accommodate. We are quite surprised.
A second waiter comes to our table, and we talk to him again about our allergy, and he tells us that no, we can't eat everything. We order the dishes with his help, trusting this server.
What a mistake... We both spent a sleepless night with severe abdominal pain. At 5:30 a.m., not sleeping because of the pain, I send an email to the restaurant explaining that we are both sick and I look for an explanation.
I've been waiting for a response for two weeks in vain... It's the least I can do to at least respond when you make people sick and apologize...
Gluten allergy is not a fad, nor a game, we had very severe pain for four days...
If you have allergies, run away...
We ate several days before in Venice restaurants "Gluten Free" displayed on the front and we tolerated everything well and it was excellent.

We were so excited to visit this restaurant after walking by and seeing how aesthetic and comfortable the courtyard looked. The menu posted on the wall sounded wonderful - and since we were traveling with someone who is a celiac, we had seen that this was a safe option.
That being said- when we arrived for lunch, the entire place was empty with the exception of one other table. And they sat us immediately next to them. Which, since there is no music or background noise inside, makes for an awkward "I should whisper" vibe.
We ordered two gluten free pasta dishes along with aperol spritzs' - the spritz was good but we were disappointed in the lack of olive after having one at every other place.
The biggest issue though was the food. The first thing we noticed is that the portion size for gluten free pasta is less than half the size of a regular pasta dish. The spaghetti with tomato sauce was so undercooked the noodles were hard to chew, and was overly salted. The pasta carbonara though was next level salty - we could not taste ANYTHING over the level of salt- essentially like licking a salt block. The bacon was less salty than the pasta.
The wait staff was polite but not very present and we eventually had to flag them down to get our check.
This was sadly our least favorite meal while in Venice, and I wouldn't recommend it to other traveling and looking for a gluten free meal.
