GLUTEN FREE ✅ Visited with my boyfriend and was delighted to find out they had a separate fryer for sides for GF customers, only thing I couldn’t have was chicken due to the coating, but there was no extra cost for GF! Beautiful food and will definitely be back

What an amazing place. My wife is coeliac and needs gluten free food. Just wanted to say how nice it is to find somewhere that offers a wide ranging gluten free menu. That coupled with friendly attentive staff and lovely food made for a great night out. We will definitely be returning soon.

The lady serving me was amazing. I wish I'd caught her name. It's the first time I've eaten takeaway fish and chips in over a year. She was very knowledgeable about coeliac and what food I could have. I felt like I was in safe hands. I woke up this morning feeling fine - if I'd been glutened it would be very noticeable. I'd be so sick and anxious right now. I would definitely go again in future. It made my day. (Side note, if you're coeliac, the order will take about 20 mins to cook so I'd put the order in on the way past and come back in 20 if you're too busy to wait)

My favourite place to eat in Durham. I love the decor, the vibe and the friendly staff. The food is always delicious. There is a separate gluten-free menu and I've always had a great experience there.

The interior design of the new Treats cafe is lovely - both pretty and very clean. The food was satisfactory, unfortunately the gluten free bread served is the cheap, sweet bread, so I didn’t particularly like the toastie. That being said, the filling and side salad was good, and my only complaint was the gluten free bread (it’d be nice if they could get a different one). The staff were so wonderful and very friendly! They were excellent at answering questions - very patient and approachable.
