Interesting menu, great atmosphere and decent service. Has both gluten free and vegan options plus plenty for the carnivores. Highly recommend. We’ll be making a return visit.
One of our favorite local spots in Atlanta! They make delicious food, that also happens to be primarily gluten-free! We’ve enjoyed their GF fried chicken, frito misto, burgers, amazing Brussels sprouts, and of course, the cookie skillet (also GF). Epic cocktails as well and an excellent selection of bourbons. We’ve even gone on night for cocktails, Brussels sprouts and a cookie skillet. Also, don’t miss their new speakeasy The Subway! (Built into an old subway store that used to be next door). During store hours you can go through a book case inside, but later on, you have to go to the back door (there’s a red light - kinda creepy - but super fun place!
Justice and Chance made us feel so welcome! The food was amazing. They put my lettuce wrap burger in a bowl which was genius and so easy to eat. Burger and fries were fresh. My boyfriend has a gluten intolerance so we appreciated the GF options.
No greeting as we entered and one was flat rude. Staff, including management had no idea about ingredients (i.e. gluten containing), cleanliness was subpar. No name taken for order so a random name was called and we were expected to know it was us. Order did not come out together and one was burnt. Will not be back!
This is hands down the best pizza my family and I have ever had. I love that they have more than one gluten free crust option, as well as dairy free cheese. The prices were also very good in comparison to similar places.
So grateful for many vegan options on the lunch buffet. And they even added a dessert option. They have clear markers for what’s vegan and gluten-free. The flavor is definitely better on the evening ordered menu but the food is pretty good for a lunch buffet!
Went here as I saw other reviews about the great gluten free crust! Sadly mine was barely cooked. Onions were raw, and the crust was burnt, quite an odd combo - gluten free food is expensive enough, I like to warn people when it’s not worth it! (Priced at $19 for 10 inch pizza)
I discovered grindhouse when I first moved to Decatur as they were one of few burger joints to seem knowledgeable about gluten free (celiac here). The burger was AMAZING! I really enjoy how the gluten free bun doesn't feel/taste like other gluten free buns (if you know, you know). Their crinkle cut fries are also great and remind me of the fries from when I was a kid. I have taken numerous friends here and they all love it! I come back often, so I would definitely recommend.
I have to start by saying I have never received customer service the way I did at Wahoo. First, from the valet in the parking lot to the hostess to our server, everyone was welcoming and inviting. We began our meal with pimento cheese fritters, crab bisque and the peach burrata salad. The bisque and salad were exceptional. The bisque had just the right spice and was thick and creamy but the crab in it was sweet and delectable. The salad was a delightful balance of sweet and savory and creamy and crunchy. We loved it so much. For our entrees, my partner got the scallops and I got the crabcakes with the mushroom risotto. My partner could not stop raving about the scallops and the corn chow chow. I, on the other hand was incredibly disappointed because the mushroom risotto did not at all seem like a traditional risotto, it was not creamy and was not distinguishable from regular rice. I let me server know when she asked how things were but insisted it was fine. I was completely taken aback when the manager, Brandon, brought a remade risotto that was super creamy and so doggone good that I didn’t even get a picture. He explained that the regular mushroom risotto is dairy free (which explained why there was no cheese). They try to be accommodating with menu items for people with celiac and other food allergies but my server accidentally forgot to let me know. I was happy to get the replacement and it was absolutely delicious. I look forward to coming here again, the valet said taco Tuesday is a must try. Excellent food and service.
First time visiting and will be coming back! Food was delicious with a beautiful presentation and lots of variety. The service was excellent. Our server, Jules, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about food allergies and provided my family and I with a gluten free menu and confirmation that the dishes we ordered were free from peanuts and tree nuts. She even recommended a delicious gluten free cheesecake, free from peanuts and tree nuts. The place was very nice, elegant and cozy. We went to dinner very early and were probably one of the first ones there at that time, but about an hour later people started filling up the restaurant and even then, the noise level was fine. We had a perfect evening for a celebration and we'll be coming back to try all the other wonderful dishes!
Run don’t walk to the Chai Pani lunch buffet!
$15 + tip will get ya the most epic Indian food in Atlanta. It includes hot chai (yum!) for a drink and lots of vegetarian, some meat, and gluten free options on the line. They also have an option to get the buffet to go which I think is a few dollars less and you can stuff that box full of delicacies.
We are obsessed with the fast casual concept from this group in Ponce City Market but NOTHING comes close to the bang for your buck that you get from this epic lunch buffet… just wish they had the SPDP 🤤
Truly the only negative part of this experience is the hellish parking lot which is abnormally tiny and awkward- so make sure to carpool or park on the side street.
A local gem with wonderful food at a reasonable price! We’ve visited at least once or twice a month for the last year and it never disappoints. They have extensive gluten free options and a salsa bar. We also love their outdoor patio and margaritas/cocktails. Love this place!
This place is AMAZING! Our server Kris was sweet and knowledgeable! Our food was amazing ! The burgers were cooked to perfection and the truffle fries were to die for !!! The atmosphere is chill and intimate with a pub feel . Definitely a place to make your neighborhood fave ! Oh and they also have gluten free and vegan options as well!
Fantastic food and super friendly staff. While we caught this place at a slower time of the day so it was quieter, everything on the menu looked great so we tried quite a few of their options including the creamed kale with fronions, vidalia onions with roe, black bass crudo, and the dry aged strip with harissa and turnip puree was fantastic! Still trying to figure out how they pulled off the toasted sunchoke shavings on the spring pea focaccia!
I can eat anything but one of us had a gluten restriction and the staff was very knowledgeable of both their gluten free and vegetarian options and they even offered suggestions on how to modify a dish to meet our needs
Although it was very busy on the square at the time we were there, I got lucky and got a parking spot just outside the front door and my friend was able to park just across the street in the public deck. Will absolutely be back!
Great food and pizza as it was the first stop on our pub crawl. They were able to serve our whole group in a timely manner. The food was savory and fresh. I had a gluten-free pizza. It was crispy and satisfying. We got our food quick.
Been coming to Emory for 4 years today was first time eating here and it won't be the last. Food & Service was AMAZING I have a gluten allergy and the waitress was very knowledgeable which alot of restaurants are not. My husband had the Fish & Chips said it was the best he has had. I had wedge salad & loaded bake Patatoe. Highly recommend this restaurant !!!!
First time at this location, as it was nearby to my doctors visit. I was glad to see they offer gluten free bread! I’ve gone to Jason’s for years, but not since I’ve become GF. I used to always get the muffuletta. Today I ordered the turkey chub on GF bread without the cheese, side fruit. I also had the plain Jane potato, without sour cream or cheese. Food was excellent. Service good. The fire alarm did go off for awhile while we were there, but it was some issue with the ebtte shopping center. My mentor got the kids chicken tenders and the southwest chilli, both of which she enjoyed.
The ice cream machine was working, but I can’t partake as I can’t eat dairy.
Very spacious and well designed location.
The pizza is great and I love that they have more space to dine in. My husband has been searching for a good gluten free pizza and he found it here!! Definitely our new pizza place
We came up for a concert and found La Chiquita. My wife is gluten intolerant and the menu has so many items that are gluten free. The guac and corn salsa are delicious. The tacos and quesadillas are fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and very inviting. The owner is so friendly and personable. The staff is also amazing. It feels like you are dining with friends. Definitely recommend this restraint!!!
My husband and I visited Curry Up Now and we fell in love. We really liked the ambience of the space and the outdoor seating. My husband ordered the Tikka Masala Bowl (Our iconic tikka masala with rice, homestyle daal lentils, pickles and pico with choice of protein-Gluten-Free)and I got the Hella Vegan Bowl (Handmade samosa, chutneys with rice, chana garbanzo masala, pickles and pico). The food was a 10/10 and the portions was big. I will definitely be visiting soon.
Very bad experience, first of all, I invite you to immediately withdraw your gluten-free menu, because you are a public danger. The nightmare 🤢🤕🤮🥵🥶 for Celiacs and their families to avoid. ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
I am constantly impressed with everything at this restaurant! The Atlanta Beets Salad is one of my favorite restaurant dishes in the whole city. The Easter Brunch is one of our favorite family traditions! They do well with food restrictions. I cannot eat gluten. I trusted their menu and their servers and chefs! I wish they had offered us dessert today but other than that minor point, it was flawless as usual! The mocktail was perfect as well!
Had a great date night at Kindred. 5 stars all around - for service, ambiance, drinks, food. We had the heirloom tomato and burrata salad, garlic chili crab claws, prime ribeye, and red fish special and everything was fresh, well prepared and flavorful, and absolutely delicious. They were also knowledgeable about a gluten allergy and there were plenty of gluten free options. We decided to try some wine at the bar after dinner, and enjoyed the wine selection (different and unique offerings from the standard wine lists) and conversation with the friendly bartenders. Will definitely be back and happy to have this local gem for a nice meal or drink!
Birthday party with friends. Nice. Except the carrot salad isn’t available at the Ponce location. The fusion menu is good. Something for everyone vegan, pescatarian, omnivore, gluten free, etc
One of the best sushi spots in Atlanta. Quality fish and rolls, great friendly service with a smile. Quick service since it’s such a small spot. And they have gluten free options! Yay!
Delicious comfort food and beverages with a deep menu to select from. Plenty of gluten free options. Servers were pleasant and prompt, and the atmosphere feels like a house diner.
Some of the best Italian food around! They took great care with my gluten allergy and had many alternatives. They even gave me my own little appetizer since I couldn't eat the bread that comes before the meal! Amazing service and some of the best Italian food I have ever had. I highly recommend!
Outstanding. The Gyro was huge, and they offer it in white, wheat or gluten-free. The wheat was tasty. It comes with a side. I had the grilled veggies. They were magnificent. There was some kind of special seasoning on them. Kind of a nice smoky flavor. 😋. Friendly and helpful staff. Great meal 👍
Extremely friendly service and coffee was excellent! *Bonus* they had a gluten free peanut butter cookie that was probably the best I've tried anywhere 😁
They could use more gluten free options (or just get gluten free bread). But otherwise their food is great! Simple, clean and tasty! The Fritters appetizer was excellent (and gluten free)!
Just had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. My wife and I are celiac. The person waiting on us had no knowledge of what this meant and made it clear that she did not want to walk the 20 feet to the kitchen to find out if items were gluten free or not. The restaurant serves only milk, no substitutes. My wife's order as delivered was not as ordered. We won't be back and we recommend if you are gluten intolerant, go elsewhere.
