Just left this restaurant. Our server was very knowledgeable and did such a good job. But you all do need to know that they DO NOT HAVE A DEDICATED FRYER! that was the first thing I asked. The only side I could get was the kale salad. I was so looking forward to fries with my burger. Our server asked who I thought he said was the owner who responded that the fryer gets hot enough to kill the gluten. Everyone who has celiac knows that’s not how it works. The food was ok, but I probably wouldn’t return.
Everything was so sooooooo fresh and delicious- omg- loved the burger and the salad and the cocktails. Very knowledgeable about gluten free as well. Would highly recommend!!
Dog friendly; excellent salads, strange pizzas. They do have gluten free options. I wandered over on a Derby Day with my previous dog,and got there before the crowds. Great atmosphere. Very ham oriented ,for some reason. Worth a try.
Wish I had taken a picture of the menu. It looks like it has been updated and several items have GF next to them. Ate there on Sunday and it was yummy.
We were in town for an art fair and were looking for something local that had gluten free options. Lou Lou came up when we searched online and I'm so glad it did! I had the crawfish étouffée and enjoyed every last bite. My celiac mom had the seasonal salad with shrimp, which I tried as well, and we were blown away. So so good, haven't stopped thinking about it since! The service was super quick and they were a delight (Joe did some magic tricks for us). Would love to return and try out more of their items, plus a few drinks, next time around!
