My first experience with Herb and Fire was dine-in and it was delicious. My first experience with having it delivered was atrocious - and not the fault of the delivery driver. I have dietary restrictions and have to eat GF and DF. This is one of the few places that can accommodate that with vegan cheese. I ordered the uccello and cheesy bread - both with the gluten free and vegan cheese options. The cheese bread was so burned that we couldn't chew it. You could snap it and it was loud. I took two slices that I pried off of the cheese bread and stacked the whole thing on those two pieces and they never bent. It was entirely inedible. I don't know what it takes to do this, but the almost non-existent vegan cheese was somehow so dried out that it cracked and fell off if you touched it. The pizza, itself, was better but also disappointing. The sauce went almost up to the edges, as you would expect. The toppings went within an inch and a half of the edge - not quite how I would like it, but acceptable. The vegan cheese, that was bad. It was a solid 2.5-3" from the crust of the pizza. These aren't big pizzas! It was ridiculous. There's quite an up charge for gluten free crust and another upcharge for dairy free cheese. I don't mind paying extra for food that is safe for me to eat. However, I expect it to be edible. There are only 3 pizza places in the area that I am aware of that can handle gluten free AND offer dairy free cheese. I was prepped for Her. And Fire to be my go-to. I'll drive an extra 20 minutes to go to Quarantinos if it means not throwing my money at a brick pizza.

My boss brought me there for my annual review. I had recently had a conversation about how I am trying to eat mote food that looks like food. The food still resembles its natural form. To be just a little healthier. This place checked that box. The food was fresh and not overly processed. I am a vegetarian and have celiac disease, which this place made it easy to select a dish that was suitable. Tasty food. One kind of important criticism was when I poured from the fountain drink black gunk when in my cup. Pretty gross, off-putting and concerning about the cleanliness. For that to happen, it had to have not been cleaned probably for a while. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go again. Just keep your eye on the fountain drink.

We went on a very busy day and the staff was amazing. We ended up sitting at the bar and enjoying a couple drinks while waiting for our food to arrive. My girlfriend is Celiac and the bartender did an amazing job of taking her order and reassuring her they knew how to keep her food gluten free. My shrimp and Alfredo was fantastic and my girlfriends food tasted good and she did not have a reaction.

Amazing gluten free pizza and cheese bread! The cheese bread tasted like the Udi’s sub rolls so I’m sure the gluten free sandwiches they have are great too.

I had the club sandwich with gluten free bread and it was really delicious! I also had the sweet potato fries and they were fantastic! I would like to go back again!
