Part of being a good restaurant is fixing errors and making things right without fuss. They nailed that for me. Ordered a gluten free pizza, it was fantastic, too good! Turns out, it wasn't gluten free. I felt bad asking because if it was GF, I didn't want to insult them by questioning it. It was too late and I caught on after a couple slices. Anyways, the crew, handled it very nicely. I should mention that this occurred during rush hour when service was backed up and employees were at their busiest; there wasn't even a hint of annoyance that I have seen at other busy places when similar things happen. Overall, an unpleasant situation that was handled very well! I have no criticism with this review! Good food, good service, pizza parlor atmosphere! Can also confirm they have a very nice GF crust as well.
Thanks guys!
Amazing gluten free pizzas! They have a separate oven and are very knowledgeable about celiac. The person who made our pizza has a daughter with celiac so he was very mindful about cross contamination
Really loved coming here and getting their pizza. Had a board for pinning where you’re from. Misters surrounding the outside seating that was so nice! The pizza was great and we loved every bit of it. A large pizza is enough for a family of 4 or 5. They have a gluten free option for pizza. The only thing I wished they could do that many places adopted these days is having dedicated pans for their gluten free pizzas. We were told from the staff that it was gluten free but not celiac friendly and that they use the same pans they make the non gluten pizzas on for their gluten free option. It’s really the reason for the 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating. Really enjoyed the pizza and a place we could sit as a family that wasn’t chaotic overall.
Asia was our server and she was amazing! We have an special needs adult daughter and she was kind and interacted with her with love. She helped us with gluten free options and made our dining experience very enjoyable. Loved ordering the charcuterie board. It was the perfect appetizer! We all enjoyed our main dishes and sorbet for dessert put an exclamation point on the meal!
Great prices, they have a variety of sausage or chicken brats and lots of mustards for you to try if you're into that 😁. Gluten free food options and decent beer prices for a tourist area.
I will start with, you won't be disappointed! We needed gluten free options and boy did they come through. The food was beyond outstanding. Best we had in years, a wonderful surprise.
The restaurant was quiant with a delightful atmosphere. We did not go to the bar but it was a very cozy looking bar. Try their craft cocktails too.
Hats off to the chefs!
I had such a delightful experience dining at Gustav's with my friends on their roof terrace. Such a gorgeous view and lovely setting with flower boxes and tables with umbrellas. There is even a mister from above for hot days. I have celiac so was a bit nervous eating somewhere new. Our waitress Crystal went above and beyond to make sure I had a good, safe as can be meal. There are few gluten free options and if I remember right they are also vegetarian options. I'm pretty use to a small number of dishes to choose from, so it didn't bother me. My vegetarian braut sandwich was super yummy, though I'd ditch the gluten-free bun next time as it fell apart pretty quickly as they often do. I also want to compliment Angel for excellent service as well!
Took a day ride to Leavenworth from Carnation and while trying to decide on lunch, happened to see the menu for the Soup Cellar and decided to check it out. I asked the person at the register if they had any gluten free items and found out they did. We ordered the grilled onion burger and the BBQ burger along with a couple of beers. The food arrived quickly, and the burgers looked delicious. My wife's burger was huge and loaded with grilled onions and she said it was one of the best burgers she's ever had. I had the BBQ burger with grilled onions and a GF bun, and it was fantastic. The fries were perfect and there were so many we couldn't finish them. Not a high-end place but comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely eat here again!
Shelby, our server was new hire, great personality and really wanted to do well!
Food: if you have gluten-free diet and are looking for German food skip!
If you're fine with pizza or a well done burger on GF bun, you'll be fine.
Chocolate cake shot was good.
Had Cider on tap.
Overall I was disappointed but this is due to my desire for Rouladen... there are so many ways to have food and/gravies that are GF.... if you like clover as a flavor you. Ay enjoy the res cabbage.
The best thing on my GF mushroom burger was the pickle.
My daughter, ordered veggie burger but within 2 bites she was saying that it was cooked with the beef patty due to taste and texture.
Overall, we'd skip this food experience in Leavenworth...
Really amazing dinner. Each course was made perfectly, and the atmosphere and music were really great. The servers were also very attentive and made sure to explain each dish. And the whole dinner was gluten free!
Listen, I’m kind of a big deal. When I come to town y’all should be open. And when I call you will answer. I’m known by a few names. Showstopper, BigTime, Cha-Ching. And you will appreciate my patronage of this fine establishment even if I’m only there for an hour. Now I know you think it’s okay to have one day off a week, but it’s not. You will support this decision, to be open on Tuesday. And I will be a gluten of your tasty Schnitzel and goat cheese apple plate.
This was our second visit to Leavenworth and our second meal at Andreas Keller. Both times we had fantastic food accompanied by a live musician. Their sauerkraut soup is amazing, as is their Jaeger Schnitzel and spaetzle. Best of all is their homemade mustard, which you can buy jars of. They also had a nice gluten free menu which made one member of our dinner party very happy.
[ 1 year later and I'm still thinking about this amazing pulled beef sandwich. If you're contemplating visiting, don't miss out! ]
Expert knowledge on dealing with a gluten allergy, their gluten free flatbread pot roast beef sandwich was the best beef I’ve ever had. Amazingly tasty and tender. They even asked if my gluten allergy was coeliac or intolerance. Highly recommended for anyone - particularly gluten free amigos :)
We stopped for breakfast and couldn't be happier with our experience! The food was delicious and the milkshake was perfect! We had the 59er scramble and the Italian scramble with a blackberry milkshake. The milkshake had yummy blackberry chunks. We didnt order it with fruit but will try that next time. The hashbrowns were crispy and the flavours in the scrambles were fresh and awesome. The gluten free bun was also delicious. The service was really quick and very friendly. We ate outside with our dog but the decor inside was very cute and retro. It was exactly the experience I would expect from a classic diner and we loved it!
Beautiful place, and some delicious Mexican-America food! The Co-something Cowboy tacos are SUPER flavorful. They have all options available in 3 tacos (corn for those who are also Gluten Free), a burrito, or a bowl!
They let me add an egg to my tacos and it was delicious! Also, they have some really delicious sauces! The Black Garlic Pablano, potent and delicious but may be a tad overpowering, the Serrano and Green Tomato was particularly delicious and my personal favorite, and a Chipotle Pineapple of which is a bit more liquidy so add a little extra, but also quite scrumptious!
The wood tables have trails and landmarks on them. Enjoy a break here before continuing your adventuring!

Tucked underneath tourist shops, this restaurant has delightful old world charm, fantastic service & amazing cuts of meat.
They understand GLUTEN-FREE which was a huge relief to my travelling party.
Cocktails are of the elevated classic kind for refined adults, instead of the usual pre-mix you find at other bars in Leavenworth.
Definitely reserve your spot & prepare to feast!
The waitress suggested the side salad as a side that was gluten free. I took the order to go and ate in the car and only noticed halfway through that the side salad had croutons in it. For a restaurant that does a pretty good job of making it known when food contains gluten this was very disappointing. Unacceptable to be serving food to people who think it's one thing, but in reality it is not.
Nice shady area to have sausages and beer. They have all the condiments you could need for your sausage. The sausages were all gluten free if you skipped the bun.
