It is a wonderful place. They have good vegetarian choices. Gluten free. Drinks are Amazing! The plaza has parking spaces. Good professional waiters and waitresses. For me it is the best place to go relax , have a healthy dessert low in sugar and Delicious. I love the veggie burger but they also have regular meat sandwiches. I Strongly recommend it. 5 stars. The The place is clean and well decorated.

Pastrata is amazing! Truly the best margarita I’ve ever had in my life, so refreshing! The owner Pastrata and his dog are so friendly. I have a gluten allergy and Pastrata was so accommodating and have multiple gluten free options (almost the whole menu!) which is rare to see even in the US. Would recommend to my friends and family!! Thank you all for the amazing experience and tasty gluten free meal. Will be coming back :)

This restaurant was in walking distance from our AirBnb and was so clutch during our time in DR. They are very aware of Gluten allergies and cross contamination and they do make your pizza separately in a separate area. The pricing is also very decent. The pizza was actually pretty good and my friends who are not gluten free tasted the pizza and also enjoyed it.

The dates stuffed with pistachio, the pistachio praline chocolates, the pistachio cheesecake, the alfajores stuffed with dates... EVERYTHING slow death!!! They are artisan desserts, gluten free. He The atmosphere is cozy and the attention is first class! It is a place that, without a doubt, I will visit again!

While walking through the mall looking for a place with gluten-free options, we came across this restaurant. At first, I was hesitant about whether it was safe to eat there, since it's a pizzeria, and I was worried about cross-contamination. The food was delicious. You can order any pizza you want, and they prepare it gluten-free. We ordered the margarita and the pesto. I didn't have any discomfort, no sores, or anything. Aside from that, they were delicious! The music, perhaps as a comment, was too loud. But the place is very nice. The bathrooms were clean, and the service was very good. Don't miss it!

Everything we tried was excellent!!!! The lemon bites, the brownies, the alfajor were amazing, and I can't remember the name of the gluten-free cake. I think it's almond with cream, strawberries... amazing!!!! Speechless!

The best Dubai Chocolate Cake I've ever tasted. It's also sugar-free and gluten-free. It's true that the slice is a bit pricey at 950 DOP, but for me it's worth every penny. If you like Dubai Chocolate, you'll love this cake.

The food is very delicious. I follow a gluten-free diet and Pedro the Chef helped me with everything. He even offered special dishes for me that he personally brought to me. The attention in the lounge at the reception was very good. But it's the second day that the girl was there and she doesn't have the best way to serve us. The rest is all excellent!! Thank you

First of all, I find it sad that some employees put pressure for positive reviews on google. My son was influenced to provide a positive review by an employee who did a 2 minute line dance on the beach with our group. This makes the comments less interesting and boring. Please know that the employees I will name here did not ask for anything and do not know that they will be named. The Majestic Elegance Hotel doesn't need fake positive reviews. This is an exceptional hotel. All the staff are friendly, smiling and the employees seem happy. The cleanliness of the place is incredible, they do not tolerate a tree leaf on the ground or a glass lying around. Public toilets (restaurant, beach, swimming pool, etc.) smell good and are always clean, which is quite incredible. There is not the slightest scratch on the walls, they paint everything as they go. The rooms are large, luxurious, very comfortable and clean. Premium quality bedding and towels. The places are modern. We spoke to several people who have traveled a lot and everyone said that this hotel was their top 1. Even our roommates who had sworn to never return to the same place twice were already booking their plane ticket to the Majestic Elegance for next year. Food wise, the food was excellent but for food allergies, it wasn't easy. We have 2 celiacs in the family (gluten allergy) and fortunately we were taken care of by David, a warm, smiling, cheerful person, who was really our favorite part of the trip. Jose also helped my children eat gluten free, always smiling too and we never felt that it was a burden for them to take care of us. My children managed to eat gluten free and we are very grateful but the choice was not very varied: croissant, muffin and bread in the morning and pasta dish or choice of meat with side dish in the evening. No gluten-free dessert (without risk) on the site to our knowledge. So most evenings we opted for the steakhouse, which was easier for them. A big thank you also to Fauto aux fruits, who took my individual fruits from the back and rinsed them because I am allergic to cantaloupe, melon...almost all fruits in fact. Without him I wouldn't have been able to eat fruit. The only criticism we could make of the Majestic and even our friends who did not have allergy problems said it...is that they use the same utensil for several items, whether when cooking or for customers to help themselves. One utensil for 6 dishes, or the cook who uses the same utensil to take the 10 kinds of vegetables plus pasta, the same knife to cut all kinds of fruit...this makes the buffet very dangerous for people like me who suffer from multiple food allergies and often despite the diversity that was offered I had to fall back on only a few dishes. In terms of display too, there are gaps. Often we don't know what is offered (e.g. "beef"....but still...) and for desserts, only one sign says "dessert zone". Impossible to know what the cakes are and what they contain... in short for allergies, it was quite difficult but for everything else, we recommend this hotel 1000% and from now on it will be our destination in Punta Cana without hesitation. The beach is also beautiful, well maintained and no seaweed. The sunrises there are magnificent!!

I have been in Dominican Republic, 5 times, and I have ate, at several restaurants in that village, Don Carlos is bar far the best restaurant, is truly an amazing italian restaurant!, excellent food, good service, live music, and lots of variety of different foods, and they have gluten free options, which for my wife's a must have, and most of all , reasonable prices, love this restaurant, every time, I go to the Dominican Republic, I go too, Don Carlos restaurant, amazing Italian restaurant! BRAVO!
