I have dined here a few times, the Chai is nice... but thats where it ends. I am tired of eating my meal and having someone sweeping around me, This has happened on every occasion and even after asking for this not to be done while we are eating it continues. They are all proper about being Gluten free but have little regard for others with allergies.

Always a great experience. The Kewdale Tavern serves up delicious meals that will fill your belly. They have a great variety of dishes to choose from and the portion sizing is on the larger side. I first started coming here because I used to have Celiac, and this restaurant has such a large number of gluten free dishes / options. It’s also a really nice venue. Good for catch-ups, celebrations, a meal with colleagues, or just wanting something yummy for lunch! I always dine in the restaurant areas, but they also have a sports bar style area where you can watch live sports and sit at high-seated chairs and tables by the bar. Highly recommended 👍🏽

GLUTEN FREE /COELIAC!!! Best SOR. Menu is up to date! Multiple gluten free options i.e battered seafood, Sauces and sides. In all the best ways! Batter was light and crunchy. Chips were light and golden. The local Shark was fresh, tender and melt in your mouth. Value for money in regards to all mentioned above. I'd drive from Kalgoorlie again and visit here every time! Thankyou so much! I can't wait to bring my family ❤️ p.s the service was fast and welcoming. Less one star 🌟 ONLY because I reckon you need a bigger space! 5 min from beach!

Had a great lunch of GF fish n chips, with some GF onion rings and scallops. Separate fryers so coeliacs don't get sick. It was very tasty!

$5 for a gluten free bun, is excessive. Especially when most other burger places are charging $2. I get that you need to make a profit but it hurts when it's at the expense of people with food allergies. Meat patty the past few times have had a fair amount of gristle. They never used to. Burgers still taste good, despite the gristle.

I don't usually write reviews, but the very sweet staff had asked me to share my experience at Betty's Burgers. Last night was my first time going there with my family and it was amazing. The food did take around 15 minutes, but they seemed extremely busy. I had the vegetarian burger with trufffle fries and it was so good! The staff were so friendly and helpful, my mom has a celiac allergy and they were very accommodating. I would definetely say this diner is allergy friendly and will definetely come back again before we go home.

Arrived to find only free tables were covered with food containers and glasses from previous customers. Eventually had to ask for table to be cleaned. Gluten free buns had run out. Then food ordered at counter did not arrive. Was told they recorded wrong table number. Was told a fresh order would be made, but eventually arrived mostly cold. Drink fridge was not cold.

I used to love the scrambled eggs on sourdough, but now they are no longer soft and moist, insted dry, and scarcity, obviously not made fast and without butter or added moisture. The bread is like a gluten free alternative, not the rustic sourdough from before. Coffee was great and service good as well.

Our fave! Best gluten free battered fish and chip and even squid rings. Celiac safe for my very sensitive son! And sooo delicious for everyone! Not compromised taste when opting for gluten free, we even give the GF to my fussy British parents who enjoy it so much too!

A good option for a stop along your journey. The coffee is decent and there are heaps of gluten-free options. To my memory, most of the burgers and sandwiches offered a gluten-free version. I chose the curried vegetable fritters from the cabinet and a small serve of the broccoli salad, all of which was delicious.

OMFG the first time visiting while on a work trip from Perth… amazing delish gluten free options and I’m so glad I went with the lamb burger option… best combination ever and the chips were cooked to perfection and went so well with the tasty pepper mayo!! I’ll def be popping in every time I’m in town 🫶🏻👌🏻🥳

The sweet crepes were very good. The omelette was one of the best things I've ever tasted - it was bursting with flavour! Service was great and the atmosphere was good too, with some customers speaking French as well which made us feel like it's authentic food. The staff provided some pencils and drawing paper for our toddler, and there are kids options on the menu. They also have gluten-free options.

A Shining Example of Care and Consistency – Grill’d Harrisdale ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was absolutely buzzing on a Friday night—full house, long queues, and the unmistakable energy of a busy weekend rush. Despite the chaos, we were seated quickly, and I placed our order without issue. Or so I thought. Caught up in conversation with friends, I completely forgot to note that my daughter’s burger needed to be prepared separately due to her coeliac disease. It’s an easy detail to miss—but one that matters deeply to our family. Enter Sam, the floor manager and an absolute superstar. Without being prompted, she noticed the oversight herself. Knowing us as regulars (we’ve been here close to 200 times!), she took it upon herself to ensure the burger was remade safely and separately—even though it was already prepped and about to be served. She personally brought it out, only a minute after the rest of our meals, and kindly explained why it had been remade. She even apologised for the slight delay—though truthfully, it was nothing to apologise for. What she and the team did was above and beyond, and I’m incredibly thankful for the care shown. It meant a lot. And as always, the food was incredible. Even under immense pressure, the kitchen was a machine—pumping out meals quickly without compromising the high quality we’ve come to love. Grill’d Harrisdale continues to set the gold standard for both food and service. I’ll be back again—and again—and again.

We had a girls lunch. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. The food was great! Only issue I had was the price of a pizza was $28 and when we asked for gluten free it went up $8 per pizza. A bit steep.

Awesome location right at the beach. We came for brekkie and had the avo smash and crab omelette, both with the paleo toast. Was easy to chose gluten-free and dairy-free. Everything was super tasty and the avo smash had the biggest amount of avo I’ve had in a long time. More to the pricier side but worth it considering the location (and pretty good food).

I was looking forward to going to the Wokalup pub as the menu had lots of GF options. But alas only 2 dishes suitable for a coeliac, but the meal I had was very nice (grilled fish and was prepared with care) and as I was at a table with 8 others there meals looked good as well, friendly staff and nice atmosphere

Exciting times ahead for this venue when it gets the makeover, but right now it needs work. I'm loving the new menu with an improved vegetarian selection, and there is a lot of gluten free too, But the food falls flat, I had the Vegan Burger and it wasn't great, We also had the vegetarian pizza, and it wasn't great. My friend had the arancini and wasnt impressed either. A couple of reviews mention the staff issues, and I had a similar vibe. Can't wait for live music to happen though. Venue is super cold too, in terms of heat and ambience. Both need improving.

What a little (or not so little) gem this is!! Gluten freaks celebrate here, they really know how to do gf with style!!! Hint... ask for the signature kangaroo dish...nom nom nom!! Music is not loud and the decor allows for genuinely good conversation, because you can hear every word you are saying!! I never went downstairs, but apparently several really cool rooms down there also. Staff are nothing short of spectacular... very very impressed overall and will definitely be back!
