Just Wow! What an experience to stay and play at Great Wolf Lodge. We just went for my daughter's Birthday and she can't stop talking about how wonderful her time there was. Staff was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We loved our room but the activities were what it was all about. My daughter loved the Paw Pass and being able to have choices within the pass. I have to highlight the Barnwood Restaurant, what a beautiful dining experience. The decor transports you to a different place and is so relaxing. The Chef was incredible and the second we mention that my husband had Celiac Disease, he came out to speak with us. The food was delicious. All in all, we highly recommend it.
Super nice place, located right next to the river in a quieter area.
The food is excellent and with a little twist. The prices are still very high, though: $12 for a pie is expensive. At least it was excellent and unlike anything you'd usually get.
The salad is definitely above average, my sandwich is excellent with three successive layers of flavors. I didn't regret my meal, but the person I was with wished there was more cheese in the nachos. Maybe they should have gotten the cheese option, but since it was feta and goat cheese, it passed muster.
I don't know if it was exceptional because it was December 26th, but they seemed to be running out of a lot of food. Running out of fries at 2:00 in the afternoon is weird.
A selection of beers and a gluten-free menu, including burgers.
Their ginger ale is interesting, not the best I've ever had, but it's different.
Nice atmosphere, Celtic music, and a wood-burning fireplace in the corner of the room to warm up.
I had a great time.
At dinner at the Great Room. Food and service were amazing. It was our anniversary and they treated us so well. Also great options if gluten free as well as for kids.
Lovely dinner to start the weekend off right. Smooth and pleasant atmosphere, our waitress was particularly attentive and friendly! 😊
PS: really surprised by the gluten-free poutine sauce. She was really good!
We've been here twice in the last two years and very much enjoyed our stay both times. The service is great, the beds/bedding so comfortable, and the bathrooms are fantastic - you can enjoy a deep soak tub and then peer through a bathroom window that looks out over your room's view. The forest view is lovely but this last time we had an ocean view and it was especially enchanting as we could still enjoy the ocean as the moonlight danced across the water. Lots of great beach and walking paths nearby, even into town so you can get amenities or enjoy local businesses. Also so pet friendly! They even supplied bowls, bedding and treats for furry companions, and there's an easy to access dog wash station. Spa was also high quality service and the Currents restaurant was great at accommodating for celiac disease.
Heard many great things about Langdon Hall. Generally that is very difficult to "live up" to the hype.
The rooms are clean, spacious and eloquent. The room fridge was not working , one call and a new fridge delivered within minutes. The room is country/modern style. No complaints. Room #19. One king, couch, fireplace on the bottom floor.
The grounds are perfect for those wanting green spacious living. Surrounded by trails, activities and a pool.
The meal was incredible! I repeat it was incredible. Worth every cent. The entire dining experience with wonderful. Each person we encountered were professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. We had a gluten and diary free diet and it wasn't an issue. The restaurant is recognized nationally for its excellence and that is well-deserved.
If you like to hike, bike, move or find a quiet country setting to read a book or chill out Langdon Hall is the place.
We visited Pluvio in Ucluelet a couple of weeks ago for the Chef’s Tasting Menu with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic pairings, and it was hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had.
What stood out was how beautifully the team accommodated my partner’s vegetarian and gluten-free dietary restrictions. Often, that can mean a compromised menu, but not at Pluvio. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted and just as impressive as the standard menu.
The food itself? Phenomenal. Each course brought something new to the table, showcasing locally sourced ingredients in the most inventive and delicious ways. Everything was beautifully plated, full of surprising flavours, and consistently spot-on. The pacing was perfect, and the pairings, both with and without alcohol, elevated the entire experience.
If you’re looking for a special night out where every detail is considered and the food is truly unforgettable, Pluvio is a must. We can’t wait to go back.
Came for the holiday lunch, the decor was great, the buffet was covered and everyone had to wear gloves to serve up. Some members of my party were gluten sensitive, and I was happy to see a chef come and walk us through what was gluten-free and what wasn't. They also brought special gluten-free dessert and gravy to the table upon request.
The only downside was that we were sat under a radiant heater so it was extremely hot, also although the food was very good, but not for the shallow pockets, this buffet will set you back, but if you're very hungry it's worth it.
Anyways, 4/5 would definitely go again if I was looking for a special family meal, just be sure to come hungry.
We had a delightful suite with a fabulous view. The suite was roomy with a jacuzzi overlooking the water and a sitting area. The bed was comfy. And the bath had a large marble shower. The front desk folks were efficient and very friendly.
We had our anniversary dinner at the Alpina, the on-site restaurant. It was fabulous. Everything was fresh, beautifully served, and delicious. They even have gluten-free options. Our waitress was attentive and made several excellent recommendations. Desert was divine. Definitely a great place to have a special dinner.

We love the inn, the kids especially enjoy the milk shakes - they are yummy and beyond generous I size. Great food selection even for gluten free, and the service is on the spot.
Excellent cocktails, and they have greatly expanded their gluten free options since I was here last!

Our motorcycle group (10) venture to Drifters Inn for a dinner destination.
On Tuesday night, Drifters was packed for "wing night." We want to give a shout-out to our server, “Ashley”. The food was delicious, and most of us ordered different dishes from the menu. However, the coeliac chicken fingers were quite dry. Despite that, we give five stars to the Chef and the staff at Drifters Inn.

This was our second time to the Fairmont. First time after their renovations. This time we took the train from Toronto instead if driving. Best decision ever as the Via Rail train stop is just under the Hotel. Hotel was walking distance to shopping on St. Catherine Street and to St Andrew and St Paul Church were we went for Good Friday evening Choral and Orchestra service with the Handel's Messiah. We loved Fairmont's accommodations and the Buffet breakfast was worth the $39 charge for all that you get. Eggs as you like them, I chose Eggs Benedict with Salmon, also tried the crepes, sweet pastries, breads, bagels or you can have gluten free options, hash browns, bacon sausages, including fresh fruits ( blueberries, rasberries , blackberries, cantelope, pineapple, watermelon) that we almost missed as they were on the left side on a wall unit under cooling/ refrigeration fans.

I love this place! Superb and comfortable rooms, food and service at Les Labors restaurant wow with gluten-free options. Breakfast on Sunday morning delicious. I love the spa, the location of the hotel, the train, the cows! I'm going back soon and I recommend it.
Very nice hotel, gets our 5 star rating. Beautiful accommodating, descent priced, friendly staff, great boxed breakfast even gluten free which was very much appreciated! Restaurant attached had great food also made their Alfredo special gluten free just for me. Highly recommend
To all my Gluten-free friends this place is a MUST. They go out of their way to accommodate us. I really wanted the spin dip but the pitas aren't GF. No problem said our server ( sorry I can't remember her name). We have really good GF buns we can toast them up. OMG it's one of my new favs.
Definitely try and of the burgers. Hands down the BEST GF bun I've ever had.
Very nice weekend experience for my husband's birthday in a lovely suite at Manoir Hovey. The suite was very well decorated, comfortable and clean. The service was of a very high level: lots of little touches that were much appreciated, a warm welcome. The spa is one of the most beautiful we have had in Quebec. It's definitely worth going there. The evening meal at the hotel restaurant was also excellent and adaptations were immediately offered to arrange the dishes according to my gluten and lactose tolerances. I will go back without hesitation!

Blue on Water Restaurant
I visited Blue on my birthday and was treated to one of the finest meals I've had in years. It's rare for an entire meal to be excellent, but this was!
The appetizers (Scallops, arancini, beet and arugula salad) were all exceptional - thoughtfully plated, sumptuous and a perfect balance of flavours.
The mains (duck, chicken and salmon) were also delicious: seared or crusted on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Accompanying seasonal veg were also toothsome and simply prepared.
Desserts (gluten free almond cake and a chocolate entremet) were to-die-for and I don't even eat dessert usually. Pretty as a picture and layered with complementary elements.
Our server, Lyndon, and manager Emily provided stand-out service making our evening even more special.

Some of my favorite Fairmont rooms, having stayed at many different Fairmonts the rooms are spacious, the bathtubs are amazing!
Restaurant was a bit of a letdown in comparison to other Fairmont Hotel, restaurants and lounges, the restaurant could use a facelift. It seems very dated. Food was just okay for dinner. Everything seemed to have an overly charred taste to it. Cocktails were also a letdown in comparison to the other Fairmont locations, cocktails were uninteresting, and poorly balanced in flavor. Also enjoyed breakfast. Breakfast was more enjoyable. Things were well cooked and they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer.
We went here for afternoon tea. During our three days, we went to three different places for afternoon tea. This tied for first with another place. It was first for atmosphere by far! It tied for first for the tea, and it tied for first for food (first for regular, second for gluten-free). Service was first by a long way!
The Royal Hotel was the host for the Women's Breakfast Club speaker series. The staff were very efficient to provide Buffet Breakfast for 60 people with daiey free and gluten free options. 5 star service again.
Everything about our visit was wonderful! The gold room and experience was fantastic, the staff were excellent and especially helpful with our gluten allergy. We would stay here again and again.

3.5 overall average experience. Good for having a variety of food to cater to different needs and a clean + well maintained area as well.
Came for a pre Christmas lunch buffet - gets insanely busy (line up expected to get into the buffet) and due to also their limited seating. Would strongly recommend making reservations if possible.
Good variety of food that gets well stocked by the staff members. Sanitizing station before picking up a plate is also a good practice that they set forth here. There are a lot of plastic barriers to prevent a person to breathing into the food also. Flavour for some food was a lot better than others (typical hit or miss) - this also applies to the desserts. Good bang for your buck overall to get full.
Dessert options - shockingly a lot (cakes, pudding, jello, fruits and more - it is very inclusive to diabetics or gluten free folks. Just wished there was a classic ice cream bar offering .
Ample amount of parking as it is also a casino and not catering just to the buffet. The buffet is situated right behind the entrance /visitor/welcome desk area.
Menu has a mix of burgers, pizzas and other standard pub foods. Gluten-free burger buns and pizza dough available for some additional $. Eat inside or have a seat on the patio. Friendly staff.

We made a last minute decision to go out for dinner on Christmas night. The Hume accommodated us without a reservation. I had a veggie burger which was excellent. I notice that they have a large gluten free menu, as well as many vegan and vegetarian options. A relatively mainstream setting with great food options for everyone.

Exit 153 Restaurant
383 Centreville Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L 3K5, Canada
Exit 153 and the Amsterdam Inn have been our go to stop on the way to Quebec and Ontario from NS for the last 2 years. We've stayed there close to a dozen times. When we first stayed they were very accommodating for my dietary needs- replacing meat and hash browns with some fruit. We have given rave reviews to family and friends passing through. Unfortunately there has been a change in policy and the once substantial and delicious breakfast is now just eggs and warm bread (not toasted long enough). On our last trip we had hoped that this was a temporary change: however, when we were there this week we were disappointed that a once bountiful breakfast is now inadequate to prepare for a long day of travel. We'll be changing our stop to Fredericton or Edmundson where there are more filling, accessible options.
Note: The hash browns are not actually gluten free. They share a fried with wheat based products.
We had an amazing experience. Waitress was attentive, had detail oriented and provided exceptional customer service. Our meal was absolutely delicious and well put together. They successfully accommodated my Celiac requirements, very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend a visit here!
Ooh, the food delights, and the warm lights close to my wife's skin reproduced the glow of first love.
This is not the five stars of a budget meal exceeding my expectations, but of a demanding expectation getting blown away.
We took a day trip to the Alberta/B.C. border to raise the temperature in our romance. After a wildflower lined hike to the beautiful Boom Lake, this restaurant sealed the mood. (We only stopped in for dinner, not their cabin lodging.)
(I normally post about inexpensive meals for GI sufferers, and in respect for cooks accommodating my GF and lactose demands off-menu, I do not post when the results are bland. Let people who eat from the menu judge.)
The entire entree selection is gluten-free with some fancy vegan selections too — no need to go off-menu. Prices reflect the romantic quality of the ambiance, yet a bargain in the flavour, nutrition, presentation and artisanal vision of the three chefs. Locally sourced vegs feel garden plucked in texture (probably are).
The halibut with peach chutney even beats the chef special on top of the Calgary Tower! The bison ribs, unlike most bison cuts, are juicy with dissolved marbling, softer than prime rib and as dense in flavour as wild game.
This place has convinced us to bag all our lunches and put all the savings into repeated trips to the Continental Divide. Nourish your body and love life here at the intersection of Banff, Kootenay and Yoho National Parks. Worked for us, we'll be back again and again.

Loved our stay at the JPL. Excellent service and knowledgable and accommodating staff for people with celiac disease that must eat gluten free. We will be back and loved bringing our dog on the trip. The nespresso in the room and the birthday cake were pleasant surprises.

Wonderful supper at Rossmount Inn! Almost all meals can be adapted for gluten-free. I had seared foie gras and confit de canard (duck) which was great. My wife had ceviche and also a smoked salmon dish. Her portions were a bit smaller since they were both appetizers. Ceviche was also a bit on the spicy side. If you take this, you should know to expect it. We had 3 small shooters of oyster and clamato and horseradish which was good as well. For dessert I had orange crème brûlée which I highly recommend and my wife had cheese platter which was very good as well. Great service. We arrived early and it was very quiet with soft music. As the place filled up it got quite loud. This was fine for us but if you're looking for a quiet evening it gets noisy. I would still go back for the food alone and the service was second to none.

They have many gluten free options and take time and effort to be careful. Service is always good and friendly and the patio is comfy and inviting. Authentic greek salad is large and delicious as are the pizzas.
Great evening, the entire Café Acadian team is warm, welcoming and smiling. We loved our experience, seat at the table near the door with a view outside. The smile hangs high on the faces of all customers.
We ate the seafood lasagna, the fried cod with hash browns and ratatouille, and an evening pasta dish... gluten free! A big thank you to our server, super kind, attentive and smiling!
We recommend the restaurant to those passing through Bonaventure. A good treat ♥️
Very nice café with super friendly service staff who speak English and French. I had the fried calamari (gluten free) and they were excellent. Particularly recommended is a spot on the back terrace
I have gluten and dairy allergies so it's hard to find restaurants that do a good job cooking a delicious meal without those two staples. The Harbourstone far exceeded my expectations.
While other restaurants include gluten-free options, the Harbourstone is the first I've seen in HRM to include both gluten-free options (GFO) and dairy free options (DFO) throughout their menu entire menu. They substituted the dairy with yummy equivalents rather than just taking it out and making the meal plain. Our meal was so good we went back the next day and had lunch.
Great Job Harbourstone!

We booked the Hawood Inn for catering our wedding at the Waskesiu Community Hall on June 8th 2024. They were exceptional to work with - very easy to get ahold of both via email and phone and extremely friendly. They were very accommodating with gluten free meals for some of our guests and helpful when our guest count continued to change. The food the day of was phenomenal!! My guests still cannot stop raving about it! And the service day of was impeccable - we did not expect it but were so impressed with staff walking around filling people’s water glasses and taking away plates. I would highly recommend Hawood for catering at your wedding!

Good food and can cater to Celiac Disease. Distillery tour is very nice. Just the right amount of time. The tour guides are very informed on the history of the whiskey and the process to make whiskey.
Beautiful spot, excellent and friendly service. Eager to accommodate gluten allergy. Incredible view. The owner does the little extra to create a memorable experience.
Great venue to host a birthday party! The events coordinator, Moira, was super helpful with our food & drinks order leading up to the event, and we were well looked after on the day. We rented the conservatory and loved how bright and airy the space was. The food was excellent, the cake was specially made gluten-free and dairy-free, and the service staff were attentive and thoughtful.

Did not have a good experience there recently. Service was slow and it was not busy. My friend who has celiac disease her options were given to her, you can have a buger without the bun, salad without croutons, fish and chips without batter. I ordered a buger that was overpowered by pepper. The only good thing was the local craft beer.
