Great hotel, we stayed here because we were going to "Soldaat van Oranje". We had very nice rooms overlooking the birdpark. We booked dinner for the first night only, but it was so good that we had dinner on all 3 nights. Glutenfree and lactose free was no problem, they catered for every need.

We wanted to spend a pleasant evening at the restaurant; my wife is gluten intolerant. Their website stated that they serve gluten-free pasta, so we had made a reservation in advance and were looking forward to it. When we arrived at the restaurant, we sat down and wanted to order. Then they told us they didn't serve gluten-free pasta, even though it was listed on the menu. The service wasn't particularly friendly either. We had to quickly find another restaurant, which isn't easy with a gluten intolerance!

Sitting on the terrace in a hurry with 6 people never works. Indicated in advance that there was a bit of a rush and that was no problem. Super fast service with a very tasty lunch. Moreover, gluten-free options on the menu, very nice! Highly recommended and compliments to the staff!

Great place that we have been visiting for years. Our room (Superior) was a nice size and the jacuzzi was wonderful, as we know from this hotel. The extra step that chef Fred went to at the breakfast buffet was really fantastic. While I was looking at gluten-free options, he spoke to me in a friendly manner. During our short conversation, he spontaneously suggested baking pancakes and adding a piece of gluten-free pastry. He asked about my preferences and said 'I'll make a plate of treats for you'. Fred understands that eating with an allergy sometimes means that things are significantly less tasty or difficult within your diet. He spared neither time nor effort during a busy 'breakfast rush' to be able to offer me a breakfast that was at least as tasty as the one that other guests enjoyed. I felt seen and touched by this man who goes that extra mile to make people come back. I know that I will!

The staff are so warm and hospitable, really super nice. Unfortunately the room was not done yet and was dirty, but we got another room without any problems, because "that is not the intention, our sincere apologies" yes that is good service The breakfast is so delicious, we often come to breakfast without staying overnight. Very extensive, with really so much choice. Also for gluten-free a mega extensive choice. And it was so tasty that there was also chocolate milk. And those tasty snacks and fruit. Yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts etc. etc. Various egg dishes, they make a fresh omelette for you on the spot with ingredients that you put together yourself, mushrooms peppers tomatoes, coffee with regular or oat milk, etc., well, go and have breakfast yourself and feast your eyes. I advise you to first walk around the buffets extensively and then fill your plates

Booked a lunch buffet last week and indicated in advance that one person would eat dairy-free and one person would eat gluten-free. The chef himself came to give a tour of the do's and don'ts and separately a gluten-free sandwich and gluten-free croquette were baked and for the other person a carpaccio was made without milk and a milk-free croquette was baked. Furthermore, the buffet was top class. Top! Definitely recommended!

We stayed here for 1 night. Had coffee and cake and dinner and breakfast with several people. Staff was very friendly. They were very helpful also with advice for gluten-free and lactose-free food. They could have come to the table a bit faster and more often. Could have had 1 drink during dinner and fries came when the food was half gone. Breakfast was fine and there was also enough choice there also gluten and lactose free. Hotel is on a busy road but we were not bothered by this. Had a wonderful overnight stay and close to Stadsschouwburg Utrecht.

We had dinner at Restaurant Cuba Libre last Saturday. Our daughter has a gluten allergy and the owner was very helpful in this. Very helpful and thoughtful. The food was superbly arranged. A young owner with a lot of passion for the food, but also for the people in the restaurant. That is why Restaurant Cuba Libre is 100% recommended.

Review for restaurant (coffee/pastry & lunch): Nice, clear menu with vegan and gluten-free options well indicated. The range of dishes is varied: something for everyone. Additional information from the friendly service was also quick and clear. We had a delicious meal. The surroundings are beautiful: nice quiet garden for walking. The villa is within walking distance (about 20 minutes) of the city center of Dordrecht.

Staff were very friendly. Gluten-free and milk allergy was very easy to arrange in the restaurant, so I definitely recommend it. The spareribs were so tasty! The sauna walls were full of dust and we regretted that we did not have a refrigerator.

Once again a wonderful renewed van der Valk experience! The hotel is conveniently located to reach both De Koog and Den Burg by bike. Bicycles can be rented through the hotel, great! Tip: rent the bike before the arrival day and get to Texel on time. You cannot yet check in to your room, but you can already set off by bike from the hotel. The appearance of the hotel is luxurious and new. Large spacious rooms with coffee and tea making facilities, small fridge and a comfortable bed. Temperature was very pleasant in our room while it was 25 degrees outside. Breakfast was delicious, including gluten and lactose free options. More care must be taken to ensure that this is replenished. Unfortunately, there was no more lactose-free yoghurt on the 2nd day :-( Room service was lovely too! According to the staff, this could be ordered via the tablet in the room, but it kept cutting out when I took it out of the charger. Ordering room service via reception is the fastest. Big compliment to the friendly staff. The hotel is dog friendly, upon arrival there was a dog mat and bag with a toy, some treats and poop bags in the room, really great!

What a beautiful extensive breakfast buffet this hotel has with very good service. Also for people who eat gluten-free a wide choice!! Recommended. I found the dinner disappointing... especially the desserts: I really didn't like my snicker cheesecake, the base of peanuts was soft and watery... so I didn't like peanuts that were "slop".. I also didn't like the whole combination of that dessert. My partner had a dessert with the description of forest fruits and walnut ice cream. The forest fruits were 3 small pieces of fruit, a blueberry, a raspberry and a blackberry. And it wasn't walnut ice cream, but another very tasty yogurt ice cream but the description promised walnut ice cream. In short, I wouldn't have my dinner here again, although the staff was very nice and helpful and would pass on the feedback to the chef. This hotel has a nice elevator system. Easy to walk into the hotel from the parking garage. I found the rooms a bit disappointing, the beds seemed to have sagged in terms of mattress, but this was not too bad in the end. In the end, I was very satisfied with the room! Not noisy and that is very nice. It was nice to be able to have a drink in the restaurant in the evening and play a game at the table. Everything is nicely decorated in a Christmas atmosphere. Housekeeping fills up well!! Reception staff very friendly.

I was traveling in Maastricht for business and was booked into a hotel here. I'm beyond thrilled! The hotel is incredibly clean, the rooms are very luxurious and spacious (freestanding bathtub, high beds, etc.), and the free parking right in front of the hotel is a real plus! The wellness and sauna area is also very clean and pleasant, with water dispensers and fresh towels on site! The breakfast was also delicious, and gluten-free options are available upon request! All in all, I'm really thrilled! Great hotel & highly recommended!

The Burgers are medium rare which is the only option but nice. The bread is good (not the best one I tried). Price is high As a summary, place is great and foods are delicious you should give a chance! Also, there is gluten-free option for all burgers. Fries are perfect!

Nice restaurant, pleasant employees, to adjust the menu into a gluten-free variant was no problem. If I want to say something disappointing then it was the mushroom-rissotto. I expected more and different kind of mushrooms then only these few tiny ones. The meal itself was great.

High Tea in a cozy restaurant. To celebrate our wedding anniversary, we went to this cozy restaurant for a High Tea. And we certainly don't regret that!! After a very friendly telephone reservation, a warm welcome followed on June 28. A table had been reserved for us, but because we like to sit quietly - due to... excessive stimuli - if we were to take a seat elsewhere. The High Tea was truly excellent! We started with a delicious onion soup, followed by a mini-quiche. Sandwiches and various sweets completed the meal. Several types of fresh teas were offered, as well as lemon, peppermint and even ginger! I experienced the latter as very special, because you don't get that very often. I love it and it's healthy too. My wife has a gluten intolerance, which has been taken into account. Her snacks were also very popular. Everything prepared with love, you could see and taste that. Add to this that the service is extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable, and there can only be one conclusion: Five stars!! Well deserved!!

What a great hotel! Very good service, beautiful rooms. We even stayed an extra night. The breakfast is super extensive and for people with (gluten) allergies there is also enough choice and they think along. The only thing missing is a swimming pool and a covered roof to the restaurant, because you have to go outside all the time. We enjoyed it. Thank you!
