Their food is always delicious, but what sets them apart is the incredible care and thoughtfulness they show toward their customers. Recently, I asked if they could make their gluten-free nuts and bolts mix—a seasonal favorite of mine—and they joyfully agreed, even though they no longer focus exclusively on gluten-free offerings. When I picked it up, they mentioned they had trouble sourcing some ingredients and had to improvise, but they still put so much love into making it. They even gifted it to me, which was such an unexpected and heartwarming gesture. This kindness turned my entire day around. It reminded me how special this café is, not just for their food (which is amazing—I even got to enjoy one of their gluten-free pretzels, my favorite!), but for the heart they pour into everything they do. Excellent homemade ice cream, with lots of unique flavor options, including vegan and gluten free alternatives. Their serving sizes are generous, and they even let you choose up to 2 flavors with a single scoop purchase! The homemade waffle cones are to die for, they smell so wonderful if you happen to come in when they are making them! They have monthly flavors, many of which include local sourced ingredients.

Long lines, but worth the wait! My kids said it was the best ice cream ever. My husband tried 3 flavours and loved them all. I had the gluten free waffle cone with the vegan pins colada and it was delicious! Will be around again multiple times this summer :)

Super yummy ice cream! And if you let them know you have dietary restrictions (I have celiac disease) they are more than happy was their hands throughly and to get a fresh, clean scoop. Sometimes, they can even take what I want out of fresh buckets and that's really great! I usually trying to go in the less busy times so that they have the time to take the extra care I need. All the staff are absolutely lovely and I very much enjoy getting ice cream from here!

Gluten free deliciousness While away on a trip I had a hankering for a treat, being a little homesick I was delighted to see a taste from home, especially knowing there was gluten free options. The owner is very kind and will even let you know which flavors are gluten free over the phone which is amazing service. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you again Omar! Really awesome place. I kept seeing them on social media so i thought “hey why not” had to go with a classic chocolate chip and even though I’m not a person who has to have gluten free stuff it’s still a great cookies. I wanted to specifically shout out Dianna who was super welcoming and explained what they sold after me telling her it was my first time there. I also appreciated her comment she made when I had to angle my watch a little bit to pay. saying how awkward it is overall it’s a great place and I will definitely be back soon.

Excellent gluten-free cones! Staff offered to change gloves and get a clean scoop after I said I have an allergy. They double-checked the flavors were gluten-free before serving too. The ice cream was delicious and staff were very caring! Definitely will be back.

Good crew, great experience. Looks so much cooler than online stuff when you watch it in person. Very accommodating for gluten free, used a different plate and different tools and everything. Even verified that all the ingredients I was using were gluten free.

We probably spend more money on ice cream than anyone should, but we love Marble Slab! Jaspreet, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. She is so friendly and it's obvious she enjoys her work. My youngest daugther is Celiac, so Jaspreet took the time to go over the menu with us so we would know what she could eat. When we brough in gluten-free oreos, Jaspreet didn't hesitate to get the slab cleaned up and mix some cookies and cream ice cream so my daughter could enjoy her favourite flavour. She also made the most beautiful birthday cake for my daugther this year. We love this place and highly recommend it!

One of the best Gelatos we have had. Nice and strong flavours. Scoops are small, but that is great. This allows you to have different flavours at a reasonable price. We got asked about allergies right off the bat, which is great since I am Celiac and she told me right away which ones have gluten so I could avoid them and stick with gluten free ones.

Abysmal customer service. I placed an order on DoorDash for an ice cream cake for my dad’s birthday and three tubs of ice cream to accommodate a gluten free family member. That’s an $88 order before any delivery or service fees are added. Abbey’s Creations failed to provide me with any of the items that I ordered. First of all : The cake that I ordered was not in stock. Store policy is apparently not to remove an out of stock item from the menu but to call me after the order has been submitted and accepted (therefore Doordash does not give me my money back if I cancel) and tell me that my only option is to accept a different cake. I would not have submitted the order if I knew the original cake wasn't available. Secondly: they failed to include the three tubs of ice cream that I ordered and paid for in the delivery. So now I have zero tubs of ice cream and a cake that I did not want to begin with. Their only option for recompense is store credit at a place that I never want to have anything to do with again. Plus the credit is only for the ice cream that they failed to deliver and not for the cake in a flavour that they forced me into buying.

Hands down, Camp Handcrafted Ice Cream is the best ice cream around! The waffle cones are absolutely killer, with their crispy texture and great cinnamon flavour. They might be just as good, or better than the ice cream! They remind me of a delicious Italian cinnamon cookie. In the summer there are benches outside to enjoy your idealized ice cream cone, or bowl. They have containers of different flavours of ice cream in their freezer to take home and now they have ice cream cakes as well. My favourite is the chocolate covered strawberries. The flavours change all of the time. A great place to take visiting family and friends! You can find their ice cream in various stores around town as well. They have vegan, gluten free and dairy free options.
