Great spot to get Neapolitan style pizza. They have the best gluten free pizza in Pittsburgh. Wife is Gf and she’s craves it. Honestly can’t tell much of a difference. Gelato is tasty and great selection of wine by glass, half and bottle.
The BEST gluten-free donuts, ever! Staff is wonderful and they always ensure safety. They package up my donuts separately and write GF on the package, which is so much appreciated!
The good:
the house salad and dressing was crisp and fresh. My daughter loved the bread.
The bruschetta was also very good.
The not so good:
I’ve had their pizza several times at the shady side location. I’ve always felt that the center of the pizza is either too sauced, too oiled (depending on pizza) or just undercooked. You almost need a spoon to eat the first 1/3 of the pizza.
This time we tried a Sicilian. 30 dollars for a cheese pizza. Lol. The crust was very thick and dry. I feel that whoever cut the pizza cut it right out of the oven and didn’t let it rest. The outside edges had zero cheese, little sauce. Again very dry. Basically the outside of the pizza was gigantic crust.
Servers were understaffed / struggling. Our sever seemed to have a bunch of tables and was making mixed drinks.
The temp / humidity in the building was fairly uncomfortable. I’m not sure it that was due to the oven and open floor plan or not. It wasn’t too bad for but the people I was with were not a fan.
I think the gluten free pizza holds up better than the regular pizza.
Loveliest atmosphere, service from people who genuinely care about their food and your enjoyment, and a GLUTEN FREE dedicated menu. It was a delightful meal. We didn't feel rushed and it was so good I got takeout for my husband just before leaving. It's a drive for us, but one we will make for a treat when we can!
Had an afternoon tea with all my girlfriends hosted there and it was amazing! So many varieties of tea to try and the food was phenomenal as well. They accommodated the group of my party who were gluten-free due to Celiac so well, I had multiple of them tell me it was the best gluten free pastries and scones they had ever had! I will be making this an annual event and going back on my own just to have their tea again soon!
Food was great, hot fresh, delicious, the cooks take their job seriously and do their best and I thank them for the delicious meal as well as they sweet employees at the registers who had great customer service however when I asked the manager about gluten free options, he spoke to me like I was stupid. Trying to educate me on how he can't offer fully gluten free options because there's always a chance of cross contamination. As a mother with a 6 year old with celiacs, I want to know how big of a chance because chick fil a , in n out burger, Red Robin, chipotle and others are able to speak to me respectfully and inform me without offending me as well as provide food that doesn't make her sick so I inquired more details so hopefully add shake shack to that list but this manager was so full of himself that he couldn't help but take the opportunity to puff his chest out. I'm so disappointed. This is my second instance with this specific shake shack and I don't know if I will ever eat at this company again, I would rather go to 5 guys where they don't mind my questions about keeping my daughter safe.
I never find myself writing a negative review, but the service we received was pathetic. We have a gluten free 5 year old who has celiacs disease and ordered gluten free pasta. The food runners brought out the food and confused the noodles and then told my wife and I that the one our 5 year old had was gluten free. It was not, it was complete incompetence.
The manager came and offered to cover the pasta she received off the check, which is fine, I get it mistakes happen. If in good conscience, comping $20 for poisoning a 5 year old is ok with you, whatever. But when I had to remind the server to remove it from the check, that's irritating.
I will never come back.
Cute! Wish it was bigger, not very family/wheelchair/ stroller accessible. Just fits! Not their fault, just letting people know. Pretty tasty, good options of toppings. Gluten friendly! Soft so eat it quick! Melts fast but hits the spot in the heat. Great graffiti wall art on side of the building.
Tasty, gluten, free, ice cream options. Try a float. They are huge, Amanda has a Great shop going only open weekends to plan ahead. The pints are super frozen but if you drive from a distance away, bring a cooler and ice and buy a couple take them home treat yourselves. got some thing with cinnamon something with peanut butter or something with mint chocolate oatmeal chocolate.

Specifically went here since one of our out of town friends was gluten and dairy free and we were sooo taken aback at the amount of options Antney’s offered for folks with those limitations! INCLUDING A GLUTEN FREE CONE!!! And the prices are extremely reasonable. I got the flight so I could try three smaller quantities of three flavors and my favorite was a seasonal (I think?) ginger cookie that tasted like Trader Joe’s Speculous Cookie Butter.

Fantastic gourmet ice cream and other treats; including dairy free and gluten free products. There are eat in, take out and take home options available. Solid portions, and a great price. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!
I can't have dairy or gluten amongst a plethora of other dietary issues, and I'm able to eat so much at Honey Bear. Try the Brownie Fudge Sundae, Monday Morning, or the Peanut Butter Ripple. Their gf cinnamon rolls are amazing too!

Crazy good gelato and the best and most unique flavors. Loved that they visibly had gluten free options. I have celiac disease. Each gelato had their own serving spoon so limited cross contamination risk. It wS probably the best gelato I ever had, even slightly beating Gran Cafe Laquila in philly ✍️
They have Gluten free cones and multiple delicious vegan ice cream flavors! My wife and I have been coming every friday after work since we moved to the area. I can't recommend this place enough. Super friendly staff and a really cool place!

Fantastic ice cream in generous sizes.
Love the options for those with dairy and gluten allergies.
Next time I'd love to some of the freeze dried candy.
My family loves visiting this location. Friendly customer service and variety of flavors. I am glad there is an ice cream shop in the area that serves high quality homemade ice cream with gluten and dairy free options.
Great staff, a ton of flavor options, and gluten-free for my husband! The perfect treat.

We tried seven flavors and liked them all. Our favorites were sea salt (vanilla and sea salt), pistachio, and The Joe (a slightly sweet medium roast coffee flavorwithminichocolatechips). Mudcup (a Swiss chocolate and peanut butter flavor with peanut butter cup chunks) was a nice mix if you want ice cream with chunks rather than chunks with ice cream. White Tiger is vanilla ice cream with small, frozen orange juice concentrate pieces. Nu-V is vanilla ice cream with Nutella swirls. Mtn. Mint is a mint ice cream with Andies candy pieces. The ice cream is the creamy type of homemade. This shop has many gf or gluten sensitive flavors along with sugar free and vegan friendly selections. The white board contains the selections they try to always have on hand, and there are several seasonal/special flavors on a smaller board to the right of the main board. The person who waited on us was friendly, patient, knowledgeable and quick. The value was great- about $21.00 for three triple scoop dishes and one double. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return!
Pricy ice cream...that's worth it! The flavors are mouthwatering and your taste pallet will thank you for it. We've been here several time over the past two years and each visit is an adventure to try somthing new abd different. Even my family members with gluten sensitivity can enjoy the selections 😀
This place is no joke. Situated right in the heart of Yardley, in a shopping center with plenty of parking, is this quaint and beautiful shop. They're hot chocolate with marshmallow meringue went viral locally and I decided to stop in during the tree lighting to check it out for myself. I asked if they could do it on coffee rather than hot chocolate and after the barista asked me a bunch of questions about what I like, she suggested an affigato. So I had their homemade Pink peppermint gelato topped with an espresso shot with the marshmallow meringue on top. This was the most decadent treat I've had in ages!!! I also tried their hot chocolate while I was there. You have never had hot chocolate until you've had it from this Place. Oh my goodness the flavor is out of this world!!! They also bake on premises and had a good selection of gluten-free options. I noticed the tomato basil focaccia on my way out, and regret not seeing it sooner or it would have left with me. I did however try some decadent looking jam-based dessert and it did not disappoint. They're seating indoors if you want to sit and enjoy your treats, so no worries there. Is out of this world. Super friendly, super knowledgeable!! I met the owner while I was there and she was absolutely lovely. If you're looking for a sweet treat, a cup of coffee, we're the best Hot chocolate you've ever had... Get over there and check it out. You should try to go during the holiday season, cause the decorations are absolutely adorable 🎅🏽💙☕
Great spot for smooth and rich ice cream in the Lancaster area! I've been a number of times when in the vicinity for a church retreat, and it's one of our traditional stops for break time! They have some interesting flavors and add in a few here and there, which adds some good variety.
They're also very cognizant of gluten sensitivity - when my wife has mentioned it, they go get untouched ice cream from the back!
Overall a nice experience, and that's probably why they get pretty crowded.
Staff is always pleasant on phone. And gets the order correct. Food is ready when you are told Always very consistent in preparation and size We never had a bad meal and often call back and compliment the staff. Plus they have gluten free pizza. Great job.

Probably the worst experience I've ever had in a public restaurant for my 8 year old daughter who has Celiac and the staff was trying to tell me at the creamery Cookie dough and cookie n cream were gluten free! The 2 ice creams with the highest amount of gluten in them. Shame on them, shame on the 50 year old lady who told me that I should've packed something for my 8 year old daughter.
PSU creamery PLEASE EDUCATE your staff on allergies
Let's say I'm thrilled that they have non-dairy and gluten-free options. I'm often left out during ice cream time with family because of my food allergies. So I'm grateful for this place!
We came in a group of 3 families, 17 people craving ice cream, Thursday 3pm.
The place is empty. 1 couple siting only.
The girl at the front was disgusting ( excuses me ) my wife asked about gluten free options, she had an attitude, she was not nice not polite and very not customer oriented. We walked out and toke the order to the other ice cream place. We spent there $176 we could have spent at Nina’s !!! To bad never returning!!!

1st time at handles got the Stix on a waffles cone it was amazing! Grace was very knowledgeable of the menu and help us pick out a gluten free ice cream for my son. She was sweet and personable! We’ll definitely be back! Loved sitting outside but umbrellas would be a nice touch!
The line was short this time, but it didn't last long. Freshly-made ice cream on the premisis makes it all worth the wait. Great flavors that change, gluten-free and sugar-free options, and great prices! Go.
