The food quality, ambiance, and service are outstanding. We came here on a whim while in Sarasota because they have a separate gluten-free menu (you have to ask for it). The menu is small which is always a good sign - they do a few things really well. The kids meals were perfect. My wife got the gluten free pasta with shrimp and scallops. The gluten free pasta was good enough, the shrimp and scallops were perfectly prepared (my wife let me try a scallop - yum!). Her only complaint was the sauce was a touch watery, but it was clear that it had been prepared separately for her, respectful of the gluten allergy. My dish was extraordinary. It's not on the online menu, but recently added to the house menu. It was a house-made pasta, lobster tail, and shrimp. The sauce was perfectly balanced, creamy, cheesy, buttery, and flavorful. The house-made pasta was the best I've ever had. The dish was balanced, aromatic, and delicious. Overall, our meals were $$$ quality at $$ prices and fantastic. We plan to go again next time we are in Sarasota. I have to pay a compliment to the front of house manager and staff. A few tables over, I overheard the table getting grumpy with their server because one or two of their dinners had arrived before the appetizers; it sounded like an honest mixup had happened. The front of house manager quickly arrived to apologize to the table, had the mixup resolved quickly, and the servers playfully engaged with the table to smooth things over. It was a very professional handling of what could have become a very grumpy table, and within minutes they were laughing and enjoying themselves. It was a great display of the quality, training, and professionalism of the front of house staff.

Although we've lived in Sarasota for quite awhile, we were latecomers to the Caragiulo's experience, but once we tried it, we loved it! Everything is home-made, even the mozzarella and the gluten-free options on the menu are a plus! We pop into the bar section during downtown events and have eaten in the restaurant section ... both great experiences and great food and service!

Came with a difficult party to please and Aidan, our server, went above and beyond to accommodate any and all requests! He was the best and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Great gluten free options were an awesome bonus!!

I live in Canada and have traveled to lots of places and have never had such and amazing Gluten free meat pizza, not to mention the great friendly family run atmosphere. If you are ever in the area you really need to stop for an amazing dining experience.,you won't regret it. Robert W.

Great place to get fresh pizza. The owners are so nice and the pizza is amazing. If you have a gluten allergy, you won’t have a reaction here. They import the flour from Italy. This is, by far, the best pizza I had in the US. This takes me back to Italy in one bite.

Went in this morning to finally try Rico's as it's talked about so much on social media. Delish!!! I ordered 2 different slices and both were fantastic. Loved that there was minimal sodium tasting on the pizza. They have gluten free and cauliflower pizza crust too so we will be back for that.

Wonderful meal, starting with the delicious eggplant appetizer, followed with Penne (gluten free) Bolognese for me, and spaghetti (noodles made fresh in-house) for my husband, with a side of grilled vegetables. We each enjoyed a glass of Montepulciano which was a perfect accompaniment. Excellent server, and we enjoyed chatting with him as we were his last customers of the night. Highly recommend Fiorella if you are in the Sarasota area.
