My son has a gluten allergy and this is usually our #1 spot for pizza for the family. When I arrived I was greeted, told I would be taken care of shortly, took 5 minutes as they worked on a large order as we waited. When asked what we would like, I said a gluten free and it was due to allergies. The guy working threw his arms down, huffed, and acted annoyed by my request and said I would have to wait a while. Was not impressed by this and we turned around and walked out. I was very disappointed by this and refuse to feel like my diet restrictions because of allergies is a problem for others. This was at 5pm on 6/3.

The girl I get my facial from kept recommended this place for pizza.. I finally had a chance to try it out. I was craving Detroit deep dish, the closest thing they had to it was a gluten free one.. I’m not a fan of gluten free but I gave it a try. The toppings was with the pineapple jam something very different but delicious and spicy. And if you like coffee cake get it.. it took me back to my childhood. 🥰

Casey did a great job taking care of our needs and paying attention to separating items due to a gluten free order.

Edit to add: The owner personally called to apologize and will be editing the menu to say that they are unable to guarantee their cauliflower crust is not gluten free. The call and effort was greatly appreciated. I called ahead to see if the gluten free crust was prepared separately and was told it was safe. I’m very glad that we went in person, as the gluten free pizza was baked and prepared on the same surface as the regular pizzas. While my boyfriend enjoyed his regular pizza and I would absolutely recommend Don Luca’s for those without allergies, I would not recommend for anyone with a gluten allergy or sensitivity. The young men working were nice but their assurances over the phone that their gluten free pizzas were prepared separately was definitely not the case. They were kind enough to refund my pizza when I explained that I could not eat it.

delicious italian food even for a gluten-free person. sauces were particularly good, and I liked that they had a wide selection of vegetables for us health-minded folks. service was friendly and prompt. very busy even at 5:30 on monday, so make reservations.
