The chicken penne with parmesan sauce was barely edible and I could not eat but a couple bites. I've had chicken penne with Parmesan sauce before numerous times and this paper in comparison. More like stale garlic. My wife's Autumn Penne special, however, was very good and she enjoyed it very much and it was gluten free! I don't know that we will go back mostly because it's a fair distance from better food in Wilmington.

Kornerstone Bistro is such a great neighborhood restaurant, casual, has very good food, service & friendly staff. And they are one of the best restaurants in the area for accommodating special dietary needs as well as allow customers to Ex: switch out vegetables on an entree etc. whereas some restaurants will not do that. A friend told me about their fabulous 10” gluten free pizza and since then I order the same one time after time. They never skimp on the ingredients (unlike many restaurants) and I order it with sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, spinach, mushrooms, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers (picked from their “fruits & vegetables” list). Also I order pasta primavera & they gladly put type veggies in it if they have them. I usually choose tomato sauce, olives, spinach, mushrooms, onions, sometimes artichoke hearts, garlic. Thank you Kornerstone owners & staff! Your friendly & accommodating attitude is much appreciated. I highly recommend you!

Gluten free pizza wasn't great. The shrimp fria diavolo was excellent. Filet mignon was good. Service was good. We sat outside and it worked well for our large group
