The wine and dessert (cannoli) were great, but the entrees were pretty bad. We got the chicken milanese and it was some of the most overcooked chicken we have ever had. The gluten free pasta and sauce were mediocre at best. Not happy with the food, but service was nice and it was a pleasant environment. The water had a very bad after taste also, would not drink.

Services was outstanding! There were several servers keeping bread and water full, clearing plates, bringing food, answering questions all very pleasant and prompt !!
The minute we sat were served bread and water . When I asked for a gluten free menue was then offered a gluten free bread basket! When my husbands desert came I asked for an extra fork and the server remembered I was gluten free and reminded me the dessert had gluten! ( I just stole the fruit off the cheese cake!)

My partner and I, on a whim, stopped by the Coast Guard House while we were driving through Narragansett yesterday afternoon and were absolutely blown away! Not only by the incredible service, (shouts out to Peter) but also the food and wine list! Whoever is running the beverage program is not messing around! I also have a gluten allergy and it’s rare to find such a large selection of gluten free options on a classic New England menu. Almost every dish on the menu could be made gluten free or was already gluten free, I was pumped. The linguini and clams might literally be the best I’ve ever had! Next to the incredible food was the insane wine list! My partner and I LOVE champagne and their list had some baller bottles. We ordered a delicious 1/2 bottle of Tarlant with lunch (we couldn’t resist). Also, if you have the funds they have Krug listed as well!! IYKYK! After lunch and champagne, the dessert list was dropped and once again all but one of the desserts were gluten free! They have a pastry chef (I believe her name is Chef Jamie) who comes in everyday at the crack of dawn to create some of these masterpieces. We ordered the honey Pot De Crème with a glass of Moulin Touchais (dessert wine from 1984) and it took what was already a perfect lunch to the next level. Can’t wait to come back for more!

The food here is out of this world. It is simply delicious, they are accommodating of Gluten allergies and have so many GF options. I ordered the baked penne and it was so delicious. Dont let location throw you off this place is a hidden gem. I order lunch from here for work alot and sometimes dine in at night. The decor feels a little bit tacky and I feel that improving this would put this place on a luxury dining list.
Our server from 12/27/2024 was good overall. Half of the missing star would be because when I told her I had a gluten allergy she acted like it was an inconvenience saying "yep" and being some what short with me. She dropped the gluten free menu in front of me without saying anything. And when I ordered she didn't say anything to confirm she had my order. Just not the right energy with her. So that's half a star and the decor was the other half.

Ordered a take out order for my girlfriend and I. I ended up messing up the order and went to the restaurant and ordered what I was supposed to. I talked to Jordyn and told them I messed up my pregnant girlfriend’s order. They put a rush on the 2nd order and they took great care of us. Fantastic late night dinner! We walked in at 9:10pm and were greeted with enthusiasm. How refreshing to see an establishment that closes at 9:30pm, happily welcome us at such a late hour! Our server was pleasant and attentive. The menu had a great selection of specialty pizzas as well as pasta dishes. We ordered and promptly received 3 pizzas, one gluten free pizza and, one chicken Alfredo pasta dish. Everything was well done and delicious. At the end of dinner, we were unexpectedly presented us with the most mouth watering dessert pizza! Lauren was our server and literally the best. My friend had a gluten allergy and Lauren literally went thru the menu to reassure my friend of the dishes without gluten. The staff seemed very attentive throughout the whole dining experience too.
One of my family members has a gluten allergy so I've had gluten free pasta before but this was really great and the bechamel sauce hit the spot. They even had a gluten free cake that we tried and it was incredible. It didn't fall apart or crumble which was surprising.
Last time I went, I got the carbonara which was incredible. This time, I switched it up and I got the bologanese, these people don't miss at all.
Solid wine prices with the classic italian reds and good variety on the drink menu. They even an interesting mocktail menu that you can add booze if you want to make it a cocktail.
This place is so much more than just another italian restaurant.
