There were plenty of gluten-free options. The salads were fresh but small for a meal. The flat breads were plenty to share, staff was friendly, but service was slow.
I live in the Boston area, and I had to go to Sioux Falls to find the best gluten-free pizza I’ve had yet. Lots of good options for people with gluten sensitivities, and my server was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The prices are a bit high, but it’s justifiable for North End-level Italian food in South Dakota.
GLUTEN FREE REVIEW
I got the gluten free pizza (extra $1) you can order one of their specialty pizzas or make your own
The pizza was very good! The crust was flat but tasted good and the toppings were perfect
Staff was great, atmosphere was great I love the brick wall and the bar area - personally just wish the lighting was a little dimer
Our waiter managed to drop an entire tray of water on me—soaking my clothes, my seat, and completely ruining my evening as I had a meeting to attend directly after. Sure, accidents happen, but what really set me off was the complete lack of an apology or any effort to make things right. Not a single “I’m sorry,” not a manager check-in, nothing. He just kept moving on like I didn’t just get drenched....in front of like 20 people. Which in it's own right is respectable because I can always appreciate someone who can keep their cool, BUT NEVERTHELESS:
When the bill came, the only attempt at compensation was offering me a slice of cheesecake—which, surprise surprise, I couldn’t even eat because I have a gluten allergy (slightly irrelevant but point in case remains). Take your date night, special occasion, or whatever literally anywhere else.
It's very fast convenient they have gluten free foods which is nice they have menu options to pick from and it doesn't take them very long to make the pizzas up.
Beautiful atmosphere with wonderful live music. The gluten free noodles were splendid and chicken very moist. The only semi-negative part is that the service took quite awhile, from ordering, to getting our food, to getting the check, we had to wait a very long time in between and spent close to 3 hours there.
Very disappointed. I ordered Alfredo fettucine with chicken on gluten free noodles and I was told the Alfredo is pre made with flour in it, WTH, the cooks don't know how to make Alfredo sauce.
I will be skipping this restaurant in the future.
I hadn't been to an Olive Garden for years. My last experience ( in AZ) with gluten free was a disaster. They didn't seem to even try to be careful.
The Rapid City OG was awesome! The waitress carefully went over my health issues, double checked with me, then the manager to make sure they carefully made our gluten free meal. The opened new items that were easy to contaminate( like salad next to croutons etc )
The manager came over and checked on us)
They went above and beyond and our meal was delicious!
Thank you!
So good! We ordered pizza for a birthday party from Papa Murphy's because they offered a gluten free option that we needed for one of the kids. Everyone was able to get what they wanted and now we're the cool parents!
I've been averse to Italian for a while because of my diet but they have so many good non-pasta options and gluten free. It's a great place that still has healthier options. What a great ambiance, amazing food and very reasonable prices. We've had Taylor as a waiter a couple times and he's great. Thanks Taylor for an exceptional experience each time.
Great food and service. We ordered gluten free pasta as my husband is Celiacs. We let them know of this. We are happy to announce that 24 hours later, no gluten reaction. Meaning they handled the food with caution. Thank you!
Hands down the best restaurant experience I've had in years! Evan is a fantastic waiter and takes great care of his customers! My wife has celiac and was very well taken care of!
It is hard to use the drive thru now with the new 41st St. Not a huge deal. Our daughter loves the gluten free pizza. No issues with cross contamination. Best taco pizza in town!

Excellent food and great staff! Got the green chile burger, Philly cheese sandwich, and queso. Yum. They were also able to accommodate a gluten allergy and an allergy to canola oil! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Super good! It was $30 for for Birria tacos, a keto bowl, and a side of beans. My only issue is that they have their appetizers listed as gluten friendly, but the only meal item listed as gluten friendly is the salad. The young gal at the register didn't seem to know much about gluten free options, which is not her fault. I think it would be helpful to have a meal item advertised as well as gluten friendly appetizers. I know it's not required, but it's helpful. The food is pretty spicy, so make sure you bring something to drink. We will definitely be coming back! :)
