I was looking for a place that served gluten-free dishes in Trento and I was immediately attracted by the unconventional name "Uva & Menta". My husband and I, even without a reservation, were seated and served almost immediately. Splendid and smiling welcome from all the staff. The owner is a person who puts his heart into what he does. Our pizzas arrived almost immediately and.... SUPREME DELIGHT. Excellent quality ingredients and undoubtedly the best gluten-free pizza my husband has ever eaten (a very stuffed calzone). Even my crock, with regular flour, was an explosion of flavor. Wide choice of craft beers, including gluten-free ones. The place has a young and colorful soul all its own, cheerful, with music as the background of the evening. We felt really pampered. Nice atmosphere! We will definitely return even if we are from Bolzano. It's worth the trip to sample other specialties.

Fantastic place in perfect South Tyrol style, excellent dinner with numerous gluten-free options. I had the shank with sauerkraut and potatoes, it melted in your mouth. Our friends the risotto, really good. And finally, gluten-free coffee and semifreddo and souvenir grappa, so called because you can take the glass home 🙂

The gluten free pizza was very good as was the tiramisu. The gluten free "bread sticks" from a bag are a joke but that was no big deal. Had some nice local wine as well.
Excellent gluten-free pizzas, AIC restaurant, gluten-free beers and amazing gluten-free desserts and also organic ice creams, kind owners, wood-fired oven for normal pizzas and beautiful location both inside and out
We had dinner twice in this lovely restaurant that also offers outdoor seating, on a large terrace. The dishes we took (including gluten-free ones) fully satisfied the taste and the pocket. Recommended.
Ideal pastry shop for celiacs because the production is completely gluten-free. Some are works of art and you can see it clearly from the images. On their website all the ingredients of the desserts are described in detail. I recommend booking in advance.
I would like to point out that I ate outside.
Terrible service i.e. forgotten orders and oxidized cutlery. Pizza at exaggerated prices for a gluten-free pizza 15 euros + 2.5 for pasta clearly of frozen origin.
Lunch with family with celiac child. What can I say "recommended"? It would be obvious, go and try for yourself the goodness of the first courses and the gluten-free pizza (all excellent). Congratulations for the service and compliments to the waitress for the attention paid to my son, thank you very much.
Let's start from the fact that I have celiac disease and this place shouldn't be very suitable for me, but leaving this aside they behaved very well. They informed me about the possible contaminations that could have occurred given that the kitchen is single but that they would however have used care and attention to respect my problem. No sooner said than done!! They fully respected everything they told me on the phone, I was treated really well, from the entrance, to the waiters and pampered by the dishes they had. I have never eaten as well as in this place, I think I will return to Trento soon to be able to taste their products, excellent in every way and truly compliments.
My story ends that I didn't feel bad, I think I didn't have any contamination, this is evidence of how perfect they were. Thank you

I went with my friends to watch Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid for a match and dinner together.
Their burgers are delicious and full of ingredients, you won't be hungry after dinner with them. The burgers are always accompanied by a huge portion of fries.
I took the hamburger (Ciccio officina) with gluten-free bread and it was excellent.
Good prices, around €20 per person if you get a drink or a spriz and two burgers.
Very kind waiters, very friendly and helpful. It's always nice to find waiters who make you feel happy for having chosen that place. Great service.

By tradition, founded by the late Cavaliere and continued scrupulously by his family and students, a pizza with great attention to the dough, even for celiacs and with storo polenta flour. Unmissable is the one with fresh porcini mushrooms and mountain cheese... Variations with lard and/or... gorgonzola... Curious? Let Ale advise you...

An experience to forget
Breakfast room staff rude and not at all attentive to customers' needs, as I am lactose intolerant I found myself eating the biscuits that were in the gluten and lactose free section, but they contained lactose, an inedible cake due to the excessive amount of sugar. I was sick and no one from the facility, once they were made aware of what had happened, took care to find a solution, indeed they arrogantly presented the same foods again including the cake which in my opinion had been there for over a week. Of course I had to go to the supermarket to buy what I could eat. We paid 10 euros per person for the entrance to the Spa. The result was: no towels at the entrance, kids shouting all afternoon feeling like they were on the beach, beer bottles left on the floor, anything but relaxation. When asked for an interview with the director or manager, no matter how professional and attentive they are, they did not show up; probably if I had been a minister the situation would have been different. Disgusting and arrogant girl at the reception. Of 4 it only has stars, as a rating I would say 2 because I want to be broad-sleeved. Not recommended

The best ice cream I've ever eaten in my life.
Both the vegan and lactose-free ones are delicious.
It's the first time I can choose flavors without falling back on the usual ones with fruit.
Special vegan flavors, good and full-bodied.
If I were from Trento, I would go there every day.
In response to the other reviews complaining about the prices: the quality is excellent, the research and meticulousness they put into producing gluten-free vegan flavors is worth paying for.
In my opinion, the prices are in line with all the work and study that goes into each individual flavor.

We went for lunch for a break and I must say very good, friendly staff, also excellent for celiac people with dedicated dishes and even sealed bread dedicated to them. Good dishes and fair portions, average price. Advised.

the food is really good, the meat in particular is of the highest quality. there are vegetarian and few (very few) gluten-free options available.
the service is really quick and the staff is nice.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maso Finisterre with a group of friends, and I can say without a doubt that it was a truly enjoyable experience. The restaurant, rustic but extremely welcoming, conveys a warm feeling of conviviality.
All the staff are kind, helpful and, no small feat, also very nice. They made our evening even more special with their smiling welcome and their ability to make us feel at home.
I ate the potato tortel, a delicious gluten-free dish that fully met my expectations and those of my friends.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Maso Finisterre to anyone looking for a place to spend a quiet evening, enjoying exquisite dishes in a rustic and welcoming atmosphere.

EQUIPPED FOR GLUTEN FREE, I specified as soon as I arrived that I have celiac disease and they recommended good, safe dishes that would allow me to eat peacefully.
The only discordant note was the fried food, which I couldn't eat because it was made with normal batter, a great shame because it will certainly be very good, but I had dinner there twice and if I return to Trento I won't fail to stop by for a third time. I was happy and I congratulate them! Well done!
The staff was unfriendly, the food is clearly not fresh and pre made ! Also if you have any allergies do not eat here, very unhelpful staff. Also why provide gluten free buns if it isn’t suitable for celiacs….
As far as I'm concerned, the best pizza I've eaten here in Trento. The place is very nice, suitable for both a dinner with friends and a romantic dinner!
I also recommend their desserts (the tiramisu I ate was special), and some are even gluten free!
Excellent pizzeria in the center of Trento. They have two types of dough, one soft and well-leavened, the other digestible and light, it's great for those who are gluten intolerant, I don't think celiac disease. They have vegetarian and vegan options. In addition to pizzas they also have cuisine, which we didn't try though. Very nice summer garden! Recommended!!!❤️❤️
