Very small wine bar which offers cuisine with many vegan and gluten-free options, the welcome is warm, the food good and the wines recommended to us were delicious. Very nice to find a small, less touristy place in the historic center of Florence, I recommend if you are sensitive to this kind of atmosphere!
Very busy! The people have found the best places again…. All vegan and gluten free. Employees all working very hard and despite the long wait, everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. We ordered the ocean bowl and it was better than we are used to in Los Angeles. But smaller than LA portions
BAD. I DON'T GIVE ZERO BECAUSE I'M FORCED TO GIVE AT LEAST ONE STAR
From the beginning, even before ordering anything, I specified to the waitresses that I have celiac disease and that my intolerance is at its peak. They both assured me that the dishes they suggested (the steak, the platter and the potatoes) were definitely gluten-free, uncontamination guaranteed!
Five minutes after finishing my plate, I felt terrible.
Stomach ache, stomach ache and, due to the effort, even headache.
With my face still distorted, I notified the waitresses of the incident. They apologized by saying that "a little contamination was expected, too many preparations are made".
At the checkout, even worse, a man who I don't know exactly who he is told me: "if you are so intolerant to gluten then you really shouldn't enter places like these, you really shouldn't eat. Contamination was a given." It would have been more correct to say from the beginning that it would not be possible to prepare something that was not contaminated, as many other restaurant establishments do.
OBVIOUSLY RUDENESS, RUDENESS, ZERO PROFESSIONALISM AND SERIOUSNESS ACCOMPANIED BY THE SHAME OF HAVING US PAY THE FULL BILL OF €86!
I don't recommend it to anyone who is gluten intolerant.
Great gluten free (gf) pizza!! Choose the Marinara for a vegan/vegetarian option. Regular pizza was also a hit. Neat interior- so glad we stopped by for dinner.
A great Italian restaurant with indoor as well as a beautiful outdoor patio for seating!! The staff were very friendly and helpful! I told them I had celiac and they told me that they could make GF pasta for me and showed me which sauces I could choose from. I ended up getting Paccheri Cacio e Pepe which is a cheese and black pepper sauce.
Normal sandwiches have a tourist price. I came because they had gluten-free bread but the price was too expensive for two mini sandwiches with supermarket bread. If you go for gluten-free, nothing recommended :(
We have been in Florence for a few days and this ice cream parlor was recommended to us. During our stay we have gone several times and without a doubt we would repeat. They also have gluten-free options and we have been able to eat them all.
It has been very hot and it has not melted. We were able to enjoy how delicious it was. Instead, we went to another ice cream shop and it melted right away. So I highly recommend it. The quality-price ratio is spectacular, since a cone with a ball was €2.5.
“This place is simply lovely – the perfect way to start the day!”
It instantly lifted my mood and made my morning feel special. The staff are incredibly friendly – even as a solo traveler, I felt completely at ease and welcomed. ❤️
I had the shakshuka with extra avocado, gluten-free bread, and a cappuccino with almond milk. Everything was absolutely delicious! ☺️
We got 2 gluten free sandwiches that were amazing! They did not take long to come out and the service was very good! Rola and Titi were amazing! Definitely coming back for more before I leave!!
What a great gem! The new owner is cool, the dishes are tasty and well priced and the whole experience feels like you’re dining with the locals. Plus they had 7 types of gluten-free deserts 🥰👌 because after great food, you’d want a proper sweet. Make sure to try the cheesecake!
