We were looking for somewhere to eat with gluten free options, Ole' had a number of options so thought we'd give it a try. Tapas were very tasty and the Paella was amazing. Service was very prompt even though they were very busy. Peach and strawberry sangria was very refreshing on a hot day! Our first time but not our last time.

Walking along Southbank, you see so many restaurants that look enticing and fantastic. When we arrived at Popolo, it was buzzing. We hadn't made a reservation and were extremely lucky to have scored one of the last available tables. Food was amazing, the wine - so delicious, and the service - impeccable! Lemon blew my mind. Tiramisu was perfection. Wine sent me right back to Sicily. I was a little tipsy, so I don't remember much of the pizza and pasta. But we smashed the arancini before taking a photo. So we probably loved it! Next time I am in Brisbane, this will be my first stop. However, I'll be sure to make a booking first. My coeliac husband said he would also return, get gluten-guts, and endanger his life for more Popolo.

Excellent food and good sized portions. The spice level was just right and I can tell very authentic Indian cuisine. Also great to have everything labelled so I can tell which items were gluten free. I will be back next time I’m in South Brisbane.

We arrived without a reservation. They fit us in. We are gluten free, dairy free and vegan. Their menu has extensive options which was fantastic, as we had just walked Southbank looking at all eateries menus, and were left wanting. This place is amazing. The staff are gorgeous and the food is to die for. Mango daquaries are pretty good too. Serves are large so dont over order. Definitely recommend to all, but especially if you have dietary requirements. We had Coconut Chicken Salad, Cauliflower steak, and Corn Ribs (OMG! they are so good).

A great restaurant. The food was amazing. We had the scallop dumplings, S+P squid, S+S Barra, and the Yangzhou fried rice. It was also very pleasing that the restaurant and staff were aware of the needs of Cyciliac sufferers and the need for gluten-free. There were lots of options. We will definitely be back.

Thank you to Miss Claudes. We ate here after coming back from our trip from Germany. I felt seen and that I mattered. Its the first time in years since my diagnosis of coeliac that I got to eat a Crêpes that I didn't make. It was extremely tasty and best of it, without the little flag in it you couldn't tell the difference. I do recommend the Walnut that are a option as well, Nutella strawberry Crêpes top notch. Best part it wasn't too much Nutella and therefore overwhelming. I hope one day you guys extend up to Rocky so we can eat there more often.
