Average fish and chips, disappointing given the location, and unfortunately they forgot to include salads we paid for. Unless you need gluten free options I wouldn't recommend.
Had the GF eggs on toast - note whilst everything has a GFO it is not coeliac approved as they use the same fryer! Bread was nice though and hash brown was gluten free
We stopped here for dinner after the penguin parade. The food was really delicious and I wish I'd been hungrier. My friend's gluten-free pizza base was surprisingly fluffy, so kudos to the restaurant for nailing that.
Came here for a brunch with my partner. Was blown away by how friendly all of the staff were. The food came out incredibly quickly and was delicious. They paid special attention to my gluten free diet and even told me not to order the hash browns when I tried to as they are not gluten free. Could not recommend this place enough
The most beautiful food, from the taste, to the presentation, always fresh & made with love. Gluten free & dairy free friendly. The BEST coffee on the island, they offer coconut & tigernut milk which is hard to find at other cafes! The slices in the fridge are house made, clean ingredients & taste DIVINE. Shout out to the buckwheat berry pancakes. Very friendly staff/owners. Everything is always a 10/10. Don't think twice, just go here :)
The Korean fried chicken is to die for. Porterhouse cooked perfectly, best hubby has had in a long time. Gluten free version of prawn linguine yum yum.
Service professional and friendly. We ate here 3 nights in one week, couldn't stay away!
Great place for breakfast, friendly staff and reasonably priced for what is served.
They also do gluten free, which wasn't listed on the menu.
Thankyou!
Went and dined in, amazing experience, the food is top tier Indian and the staff are friendly. They catered exceptionally well to my partner and stepson, who are Celiacs, therefore cannot eat gluten. I recommend everyone should come in for a meal, or at least get takeaways!
ALLERGIC REACTION!
I’m a coeliac and can’t have food with gluten. My boyfriend and I ordered 1 normal pasta and 1 gluten free pasta for myself. We ordered it to go, the man who gave us the bag of food literally stared us down until we walked out of the store.
At home I opened up the pasta and thought to myself ‘this doesn’t look gluten free’ stupid me ate it anyway instead of taking it back. I had an allergic reaction and now have to take up to 2 weeks off at work to recover before I go back!
Im absolutely disgusted! Not sure if it was the girl who took our order, and she didn’t care whether to put down as gluten free pasta. Or the kitchen but this is definitely not tolerable
I recently visited Cafe Lugano in Cowes on Phillip Island, and it exceeded my expectations. The coffee was exceptional, with a rich, smooth flavor that coffee enthusiasts will appreciate. Also the food was absolutely delightful. The cafe offers a variety of dietary options, including vegan and gluten-free, making it accessible for everyone. The service was friendly and prompt, and the cozy atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, added to the overall enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phillip Island!
The gluten free Buffalo pizza and calamari fritti were to die for!!! We loved the food we had and the waitress looking after us was attentive and professional. The venue is beautiful ❤️ with a great ocean view!!! We'll definitely come back to visit you!! ❤️
My wife and I recently stopped in for brunch. I ordered poached eggs and bacon on gluten-free bread, while my wife chose a pizza. When I looked over the menu, I noticed no clear indications for gluten- or dairy-free options, which made things a bit tricky as someone with dietary needs.
Thankfully, when we asked, the chef was very helpful and accommodating, which I appreciated. That’s why I settled on the eggs, there just weren’t many other suitable choices available. One egg was cooked perfectly, the other was unfortunately overdone. The bacon could’ve used more time on the grill, and only one side of the gluten-free bread was toasted.
The table we sat at was a bit sticky and slightly wobbly, which made eating less comfortable. My wife’s pizza was topped with a heavy amount of cheese, so much so that the oil was running off the top. The base tasted like it may have been pre-made, though we can’t be sure.
There were some positives, especially the chef’s willingness to assist, but a few things left us feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Absolutely the best Chinese food we’ve ever eaten. Dined in and was delighted with the attentive professional good old fashioned customer service. Being coeliac I’m always apprehensive ordering but my mind was completely put at rest by the waitress who came out to explain that what I’d ordered was not completely gluten free and offered so many suggestions to make absolutely sure I was eating safely. Could not recommend this restaurant more highly to anyone coeliac or not. Will definitely be back. Dad absolutely loved the curry puffs and the wonton soup Thank you so much to all the staff
