Delicious pancakes, normal flour and buckwheat flour (gluten-free) on request, sweet and savory, their coffee ☕️ is a delight, in the heart of Brussels, I highly recommend 🥞🍯☕️🍽🫙🏺🫶🏼
We had a super great time and a very good dinner. The service of Deni was very friendly and super careful about my gluten and wheat allergy. Many thanks! It's great to have a safe gluten free meal out in Brussels

The place is bright, cozy and tastefully decorated, ideal for brunch or working. The menu offers healthy dishes like gluten-free bowls, toasts or pancakes, with several vegan options😋
5/5!
The food and drinks are all excellent (all dishes are vegetarian, and there are many vegan and gluten-free options). The staff is very friendly. I recommend it!
Excellent service, perfectly cooked meat (rosy) but above all the waitress knows and perfectly manages the problem of people who cannot eat gluten, thanks to her
I had the most delicious gluten-free pesto pasta! The service was outstanding, and the staff—especially the owner—was incredibly friendly. He took the time to explain how the ordering process works for those of us who were new, which made the experience even better.
The employee was very friendly, but it was a disappointment as a celiac not to find ANYTHING gluten-free. All the products had some gluten or traces, even a simple 'salad fruit'! Of course, the labeling is clear regarding allergens.
In terms of service and atmosphere, the welcome was rather cold and even a little awkward from a waiter who didn't bother to explain the restaurant's concept, taking orders from behind us rather than next to the table. The same goes for when he served us our drinks, waiting for us to take them in his hands.
Fortunately, another waitress then brought us our food and took the bill, with a smile.
The food was good, and the menu offers gluten-free and vegetarian options, for a reasonable price. But don't expect homemade pasta, and I also have my doubts about the homemade sauces.
Review from a gluten free family: This place was a nice find, but the signaling on the menu is a bit confusing. It says they can prepare gluten free buns but the menu is not specific regarding which burgers are GF. The server was kinda confused by this issue, but at least he asked the owner/cook when he wasn't sure. My wife and I are celiac and had no symptoms after our meal. Burgers were tasty.
Super yummy gluten-free wok. Highly recommend the rice noodles with red curry sauce, veg & tofu. Had rather a long wait for my meal but otherwise lovely
Not ready for food allergies. The staff is rude and cannot accommodate to health issues. They can't tell the difference between gluten-free (celiac) and vegan diets and kept suggesting to take the vegan plate. They kept offering a bread that is "easy for digestion" but couldn't tell if had gluten or not. When my celiac friend said she would just order a juice, they treated us poorly.
Terrible service, lack of inclusiveness in the menu – an experience to be avoided.
I came to this restaurant for brunch and simply asked if there were any gluten-free options. The server's response? “I have nothing gluten-free”, in a dry and unpleasant tone, without even an effort to be friendly or offer an alternative. Regardless of the menu, a restaurant is also about service and an attitude towards customers. Responding in such a rude manner to a simple question shows a real lack of professionalism. Plus, no table service and you have to queue to order and they weren't pleasant. Too bad, because the welcome makes all the difference.
In addition, in 2025, it is surprising that an establishment offers absolutely no alternative for people with food intolerances, nor quality vegetarian options.
Did it live up to the hype - almost!
I loved the friendliness of the staff and the menu coverage (particularly for vegetarians and gluten-free folks). The wine list is just as exhaustive and the place echoes everything Italian. Portion sizes are great for the price you pay.
My gnocchi was delicious but felt a bit dry after a couple of spoons. For desert, we had the caramel pannacota which was delectable but the tiramisu felt a tad disappointing on the flavour for me.
My favorite place to eat gluten-free in the center of Brussels, I go there more than 3 times a week, but in recent days, I often found traces of noodles with gluten but not every time. You have to be a little careful
Very welcoming place and very friendly staff. I was able to eat organic and gluten free food. I ordered the soup and the oriental dish. Very fresh and excellent quality raw materials cooked very well. Experience to recommend
DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY INTOLLERANCE OR ALLERGIES!!! Today I have been to the restaurant, I ordered the lunch special which was salmon with mash and I asked to change the mash with rice since it contains milk and I have specified to him that I'm gluten and Lactose intollerant very strict and he said of course noted, after he bring my food, at the bottom of the plate the rice was with cream which completely destroyed my stomach, I complained and he blames the chef for the mistake, they have changed me the order to a new one and they only told me things that happen when you eat outside the waiters!! I am still paying for my food and you accepted to accomodate me still, if it was a serious case of someone allergic to someone could have sent them to hospital, I don't suggest it at all!!
Great music choices, good food. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that you can even make your own maki. My gluten-free friend was happy to see that every option had information with pictures of what is in that food. Definitely recommend!

Central location
When making the reservation you can put instructions on allergens. We put them in, we can't eat gluten. They served us bread upon arrival and in a salad that we ordered (which does not say that it has bread on the menu) burrata salad
The rest of the food was very normal.
Very friendly staff! Nice food!! We were 10 guests and 2 were gluten intolerant!! Totally understanding staff! They had glutenfree pasta!! We were superhappy! Had a really nice lunch!! Can Absolutly recommend this restaurant!! 👍
We had a great meal, mussels, carbonade and a plate to share of various things. Our waiter Jullien a 10! We would repeat without a doubt!! They also have gluten-free beer (in the photo) 😍😍
A fun, creative, and gluten-free place. Each menu can be accompanied by gluten-free toast. There are also gluten-free pancakes and a hamburger, as well as pastries, but these are subject to delivery. We'll definitely be back!
Typical restaurant in the center of Brussels where the specialty is meat and in particular ribs. There is the possibility of eating them all you can eat. Generous and tasty portions. Each dish is accompanied by salad and fried potatoes or jacked potatoes. There are many gluten-free options. I have celiac disease and I was able to eat the house ribs. The staff is not very attentive because they served me the dish with the gluten dressing in the salad, but I was warned of the error when I had already eaten some of it.
They don't have gluten free beer but good local wine.
Warning: if you take the all you can eat ribs menu you cannot share it with other diners if they have not also taken the all you can eat menu. Unfortunately we were only informed of some rules once the service had started. Unfortunately the service is not excellent: the waitress who served us was scolded in an unpolite manner several times in front of us.
Characteristic atmosphere and place but narrow and not very comfortable seats.
Terrible experience! We were a group of 40 people and had already booked the meals in advance- 15 vegetarian meals. Upon arrival the servers were ignoring us and didn't take drink orders until we asked them to do so after almost an hour, already seemed very rude. Then the first precourses arrived (an hour after we arrived). We quickly found out that they had only one vegetarian meal prepared. They messed up the entire order that our group had told them on the phone and through e-mail. Then a waiter tried to give a meat precourse to all the vegetarians. He said "it's cheese, no meat". It was a cheese crocette with a sauce that had ham pieces. He was trying to make everyone eat the meat. Some people got a soup, but no one said sorry about giving us the meat precourse. It took a while till the main course arrived. The vegetarian main course was also terrible. Everything was out of the freezer (soya steak, beans) and was served without any sauce. The meat option looked good and the people said it tasted well. One person from our group was gluten intolerant. They also didn't have a meal for the person and ended up having a salad. The person said it was the only option, because they waiters didn't seem to know which meal had gluten and didn't trust them anymore after trying to give meat to the vegetarians.
Worst part, none of the waiters apologized about anything that happened. Seemed like they didn't care about the group because they wouldn't spend as much money as other costumers. Would never go there again.
I have celiac disease and it’s really stressful to eat out. The staff was wonderful and communicated well with me and each other to avoid cross contamination. I really appreciated their efforts! And to all other celiacs out there, their fryer is only used for fries 🎉🎉
Good service and good food. They didn't seem like they have all intolerances and gluten free food controlled (even though they have an allergen menu), but they will listen you and try to get some options.
Brilliant restaurant thank you Bombay inn and the amazing team who were so so friendly and helpful! I am a coeliac vegetarian so am always nervous eating out especially in an unknown foreign city, after reading amazing reviews from a gluten free blogger we decided to go to the restaurant and speak to the staff. Who couldn’t be more helpful so we booked up. Given my menu with all the allergen information labelled and the kitchen made my meal to spec which couldn’t be tastier. Thank you my mum and uncle loved it too. Clean, tidy, comfy, beautifully decorated and the most lovely friendly helpful staff. Thank you 🙏

Great new restaurant......our food was delicious, piping hot, extremely well cooked and from a varied, but easy to comprehend menu. Our servers were friendly and attentive and very proud of their country, excited to introduce new wine and cuisine from Croatia to Brussels. One of our party required gluten free and they covered this very professionally, even down to a wonderful grilled pineapple dessert. We had a delicious sparkling wine from Croatia and a lovely rose flavored, (but with a not too floral) liqueur. Highly recommended....
