Regular crust pizza is okay but not remarkable. Gluten-friendly crust pizza leaves to be desired. Home artisan potatoes are soft and don’t taste freshly made at all. Customer service is great; very thorough with modifications. We enjoyed their home made lemonade.
Absolutely fantastic. Quick service and amazing gluten free options on menu….you wouldn’t even know it was vegan ;)
the Kalimari is a absolute game changer!
BEST PLACE FOR GLUTEN FREE/VEGAN FINE DINING!!! Super fancy, absolutely delicious, amazing atmosphere with the live musicians. My fiance and I were swooning over how luxurious our anniversary dinner was. Its been a long time since we've found a place that meets our dietary restrictions AND makes us feel like we had a real fancy night out. Cannot recommend this place enough. Also, try the silk route feast! Its worth every penny!!🤤
I have to eat gluten free ( not celiac) and the Dalorit dish (roasted butternut squash) was absolutely delicious in my opinion and of course, gluten free! I would highly recommend!
Seemed to have a lot of gluten friendly options and some gluten free. Waitress was really nice and was telling me which options were safe for coeliac. Food was delicious ! Long wait time to get a table (4) even on a Tuesday night
I’ve been wanting to try Lila since I found out about it opening and I finally did. I love that it has a modern twist on Indian food with a number of dishes being vegan/gluten free or having a vegan option available. As someone who has been dairy free for over a year, I often find it difficult when I there’s no dairy free or vegan options available (and Indian food is one of my favourite cuisines).
The restaurant itself is small so I would recommend making a reservation especially when heading into the evening dinner hours. They have super cute but small patio upfront and also a back yard too with some tables (didn’t get to see this).
Service was wonderful. The staff were quite friendly which was amazing. I will definitely be back here.
Thank you for having gluten free cones!
After hearing about how beloved rain or shine is, I’m surprised I took so long to try it!
I got a scoop of London Fog and of course we expect ice cream to be creamy, but this had more than just your basic creamy lushness; this had lactic flavours that really intensified the creamy and smooth texture. I’m delightfully surprised.

Really awesome Vietnamese restaurant with tons of gluten free options as well as regular options. Prices are super fair. We got the Shaken beef and Duck curry (GF) and both were super delicious. Can’t wait to come back
Gluten Free menu that does NOT use a dedicated fryer is "idiotic" because we are talking about a $600 bit of equipment - instead its all cross contaminated. Food is good but not great (the reviews say that) staff are very nice and attentive. Nice ambience
Step back in time to 2007 with this restaurant! Stopped in here after a few other places up Main, haven't been there in a good 15 years. Well, I feel like I went back in time, and not in a good way. Don't order the gluten free, it was just Costco gluten free bread in place of flatbread etc, no flavour or love. Not quite sure how it's still kicking when so many others have gone under in the area. Drinks and service was good, but food left a little to be desired.
LOVED IT! It was so easy to order Gluten free sushi. The food was definitely worth it. If you are looking for really yummy gluten and dairy free sushi, definitely try this place out. 🫶🏽
The place was super clean and the ambiance was lovely!
The labeling of their menu is completely wrong! And has been for at least the past 2 years. If you are vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free (or have any dietary restrictions), avoid!
One time, the server did acknowledge that labeling is wrong and brought an "updated" menu with stickers to cover some of the errors but even those were inaccurate or missed a lot of v/vg/gf options.
I think that the inconvenience to fix the menu labelling is totally worth it to create a more pleasant dining experience (especially since a lot of Vancouverites have specialty diets).
Hope to see some changes soon!
Went for my birthday! It was our first time here. I had a lovely time, super enjoyed the Steelhead Salmon and the Cajun Cauliflower. I have celiac disease, all the staff took my needs seriously.
We popped in after flying in from Edmonton. My fam has eaten a lot of Thai and this was delish. Everyone loved what they got and there wasn't one bite of leftovers. My celiac kiddo loved the green curry.
Cozy Dutch brunch restaurant; the pannekoeks were a bit soggy for my liking - otherwise service and atmosphere was amazing.
Great to see that they had gluten-free options for brunch here!
Monsoon Curry provided lunch for my 25-person event. I originally suggested three dishes plus rice and naan, in appropriate quantities for the group. Jaspreet at Monsoon Curry was very enthusiastic about providing more dishes. In the end, We had 15 different dishes, all were gluten-free and 10 were vegan. They were all delicious and there was plenty for everyone. It was a surprisingly good value and I will definitely use them again for future events.
The taho (with sago) is gluten free and safe for celiacs! Taho is my partner's comfort food and we eat here a lot. It's a small shop with a small selection so there's not much opportunity for cross contact with gluten when it comes to the taho.
Have wanted to come here for so long and finally did! The food in general was good. We got gluten free pasta, chicken, and 2 desserts. I was a tiny bit disappointed because after reading other reviews I thought they would have better gluten free options for bread and pasta but no they didn’t have gluten free bread. The gluten free option for pasta is not the right kind of pasta for the dishes but they were still good. The prosciutto appertizer is a must order, for the price is a bit expensive but the cheese was amazing. The chicken I really like, but maybe the waitress oversell it a little bit as It wasn’t mind blowing as she described. Still enjoyed it. Desserts were kind of okay. By this point I was full out of my mind. The whole meal was good! But I wouldn’t come back. Thank you for the meal
Delicious sushi, lovely employees. There are a few gluten free options that are celiac safe (NOT the BC rolls or spicy salmon. Avocado rolls were okay).
Restaurant Yugo is an upscale Japanese French fusion restaurant that serves premium quality sushi as well as some less common, sophisticated offerings such as Foie Gras Donburi. I ordered some sushi for takeout from them recently. Featured here:
Hamachi Nigiri
Sockeye Salmon Nigiri
Gluten Free Avocado Oshi Sushi
Not the most exotic ingredients as Hamachi, Sockeye Salmon, and Avocado are all ingredients that you can find in pretty much any Japanese restaurant. The difference however is in how the ingredients were prepared.
Restaurant elevated these ingredients to another level. Most other restaurants use more rice for their nigiri and the fish lies flat on top of the rice. I love how the salmon and hamachi draped over the rice, with some extra fish hanging over the sides of the rice. The Avocado Oshi sushi was also sublime. Confit Tomato Sauce and Lemon Zest were brilliant additions which made the flavours pop in our mouths. My picky eater who usually just loves to eat a standard Avocado roll was most delighted with this new version of Avocado sushi!
Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner which is another plus for me because at the time that I ordered from this place, I'd been struggling to find a good sushi restaurant where I could order for lunch on a Sunday!
Service: Good
Parking: Free parking on the side streets
Location: 4265 Main St., Vancouver
Service was attentive and friendly. Food was served hot and was both tasty and cooked properly. The steak and fries exceeded expectations. Fresh, tender and the red wine sauce was quite tasty. A good gluten free option with salad instead of there hand cut fries, which are quite good by the way.
We came for the first time, and it won’t be the last! We are working with parents with young children who have clients with young children! Our meetings just got a lot easier with PlayScape! Did I mention the food is delicious with gluten-free and vegan options? You can’t even tell because it is so yummy you can’t stop taking a bite!
I look forward to using this space not only for daytime coffee meet-ups, workshops in the evening, and children's parties on the weekend. One wall won me over; it was their business community flyer wall! Thank you for including a space for small businesses to connect and refer each other!!
I've been looking for places that serve really good Benedicts. The only brunch menu showed that they have a Soft Shell Crab Benedict with lemon hollandaise sauce with a gluten free option. So, we stopped by for lunch. We ordered two Benedicts, one with soft shell crab and one with smoked salmon. We found the space noisy and drafty, not very comfortable and unsettling. So, we were just waiting to eat and get out. I opted for house greens instead hash browns but greatly regretted it because it was just from boxed mixed spring salad with what seems like a mustard dressing. I am not a fan of mustard of any kind. My soft shell crab was very enjoyable, even the gluten free bun was ok. But I'm not sure if the coating on the crab is also gluten free, but hope so since the gluten free option is $4 extra. 2.5-stars for the cold smoked salmon benedict, 5-stars for the soft shell crab, 1-star for comfort.
