The atmosphere is fine, not very high end but not a pub. Service is good, the server didn't stand out in anyway but I was part of a large group of 12/13 so it can be a lot for a server. I had calamari to start, and it was excellent, super tender and the batter was light and crisp. The mussels in beer sauce, which were a tad overcooked, the mussels were quite small, and the sauce was extremely salty, normally I drink up all the broth/sauce from mussels and I couldn't with these. I also had a gluten free pizza, traditional, with garlic. I've had worse gluten free crusts, and I've had better. The toppings were more like a delivery pizza place than what I'd expect from a traditional Italian restaurant. I ordered a bourbon old fashioned, and I don't think they knew how to make it because I just got a rocks glass of bourbon, ice and an orange peel lol.
I was looking at the other things the rest of the group were getting, I wasn't super impressed, the carbonara looked too thick and chunky, the garden salads were heavy on iceberg and light on every thing else. I just think with the prices it should have been a little better.
I've gone to east side Mario's and had equal/better for less.
Good food, good service, they even had gluten-free bread which I prefer for my diet. One drawback is that they are a little bit pricey. Friend and I had a sub each and two drinks and the total was close to $34. As I understand it they also donate some of the profits so I guess it's not that bad.

We love it here. Great value, great staff, good food. Family of 4 with combos and shakes.
Back again, we appreciate the detail and care to our gluten free food restrictions.
Fantastic quality customer service; Matt and Rebecca were fantastic. Everything we ate was tasty and filling. True gluten free options that were actually worth having.
I love fish and chips but due to being Celiac I cannot enjoy it as I used to. Stoney Creek has a number of fish and chip places but I couldn’t find one I liked and that offered gluten free options.
My son had suggested that I try Fin City. I decided not to order online since I live close by and wanted to experience the service and the food.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We placed our order and had a seat while we waiting. There was a steady stream of customers coming in. Most seemed to have ordered online but everything was managed efficiently.
I was a bit skeptical about what the food would be like based on reviews. I should not have worried. The fish orders ( gf cod and regular haddock) were cooked perfectly. The gluten free batter on the cod was perfection. Crispy. Crunchy. Not greasy at all. The fries were some of the best I’ve tried and the haddock and chicken strips were also very good.
I ordered the two piece cod dinner and by the picture you can see it was a large size. Almost two complete dinners for some. For me a meal and nice snack.
Overall the meal was great. The staff were wonderful. The service perfect.
I love eating out and I make a greater effort in reviewing those places that exceeded my expectations. Fin City accomplished that. I will make another visit soon. Very soon. Keep up the great work!!!
This is one of the best places I have been to in a long time. Great Atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff, Lots of Vegan and Gluten free options and the food was AMAZING! The prices were very reasonable and the portions were just perfect - I felt leaving satisfied (not wanting more, not guilty I left some to be thrown away, and not like I had eaten too much - just right).
This restaurant accommodates for celiac disease. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes Mexican food. I got the nachos and tacos (with corn tortillas) they were a 10/10. I will come back again.
My partner and I frequently dine here for Sunday brunch. We always enjoy the tasty food, the pleasant service, and the relaxed atmosphere. Deb was our server today and she was lovely. I appreciate that they have a gluten-free toast option for us GF folk.
The food here was amazing, but the service was even better! Just as they were completing the order, I realized one of our burgers needed to be lettuce wrapped for a celiac and the manager remade our second burger at no extra cost! Even though I offered to pay, they went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. Appreciate the great service! Forget the managers name but I hope he gets personal credit!
As someone who has celiac and who's had it for over a decade, I was really excited to order food from you guys once I saw you offer gluten-free pizza only for you guys to tell me that you just carry a gluten-free base and none of the toppings are gluten free? Why bother then because you're not accommodating the celiac people like myself. I fully understand for some people it is just preference but for people like me it is a full-blown allergy.
Amazing Indian restaurant serving fresh tasty and healthy Indian food in the city. The owner and staff provide excellent service and the restaurant has many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on the menu. I highly recommend dining at this gem of a restaurant. Great for lunches, dinners, family events and small receptions.
Incredible pho! My husband and I both enjoyed what we got for dinner. I had a spicy vegetable pho and he had a rare beef pho. If we lived near by we would make this place our regular spot! Gluten free options for the win too!
Talk about great service and going above & beyond! It was so delicious and so nicely packed! Being Gluten and Dairy intolerant can really make dining out a challenge… However, They were super helpful with letting me know what foods I can safely order! They even marked out a menu for me to know in the future 🤩
My husband and I use to live near this location, and still will drive two exits down the road to come here (despite now living across the street from a Pita Pit). You can tell the owner here really takes pride in this restaurant. Facility is clean, staff are friendly, and this is one of very few Pita Pit locations that does an excellent job wrapping the gluten free pita (which I know is not easy to work with!). Hands down the best Pita Pit location we've ever been to.
Unfortunately i did not have a positive experience ordering from this restaurant. We thought to have tried this restaurant as it was gluten free, and vegan and we have one person in our household that has dietary issues. Delivery was fast, but the food wasn't that great. The chicken fried rice was overcooked, and it was sticky - comparable to the texture of minute rice. The kung pao chicken wasn't really kung pao chicken, with stale noodles and the chicken being gummy. It is important to note that we did request a refund on the rice for order eats, and it did make my stomach a bit sick. The staff seemed nice , though. Until they improve their food to a satisfactory level, i will not be ordering again from this place.
We stopped at lunchtime because it was close to the highway. Super good service!! The portion is very generous and I was able to have a gluten-free burrito!! Thank you so much!!
Ordered in from uber eats and this food was SO GOOD. the fish (gluten free haddock) was so flakey and flavourful. The tartar is great and the slaw was fantastic.
My goodness, the food was delicious!!! We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Rice Plate, Fetoush Salad, and Beef Shawarma Poutine - the meat and chicken were juicy and full of flavour, and their garlic sauce was just a right balance of spices and consistency.
All of these orders were the large size and fed 3-5 people. They were so accommodating when we told them we had a gluten sensitivity. They showed us the ingredient list for their potatoes (which contained no gluten!). They even showed us their gravy ingredient list so we could see if it contained wheat (it did). They are incredibly kind people and their customer service was caring and welcoming!
We will totally come here again!!

Amazing little place we found looking intentionally for something new! I and my daughter both have Celiac disease, so it gets tough...these folks went out of their way to accommodate us. They have a gluten free menu and are willing to tweak your order if needed! Decent prices and absolutely amazing food! A must try! ❤️❤️👍👍
La Cairo Grill is an excellent family run restaurant that’s new to Stoney Creek area. We were going out on Friday to another restaurant when we made the call to them to try them out.
The service was excellent especially being a brand new restaurant. The restaurant is clean and well lit. The bar is nicely stocked and it’s a cozy well decorated place.
The food was outstanding. The mixed grill for 2 is a must have. Everything tasted amazing with no regrets. The salad was well made as was the basmati rice. The chicken souvlaki dinner was also good. The grilled prawn dinner was extraordinary and cooked to perfection. I loved how they grilled the vegetables as well. The garlic sauce was also very good, the amount given is perfect. Additional sauce would take away from the beautifully done whole food. There are so many excellent gluten free items and they double check to ensure everything is safe. Additionally they do have vegetarian options as well.
I recommend that you use real bacon for the Caesar salad and for the burgers. Anything less doesn’t cut it.
I cannot wait to go back to this place. Thank you for the excellent experience.
Ordered 2 chicken shwarma dinners and a gluten free pizza. The pizza had a few strands of green string/fabric baked into the cheese and one of the shwarma dinners had a little piece of blue plastic/rubber sitting on top of the rice. Luckily we noticed quickly. They refused to give us a refund on our food ($55) and said they would make our order again.. upon picking up again the staff there admitted to us it was the green dish cloth/towel they use that was baked into the pizza. Disgusting! Never again.. this place should be inspected by the city asap! Having owned 2 pizza restaurants myself in the past, I cannot fathom this. They should have immediately refunded the money, apologized to no end and never let this happen again. But something tells me this will continue because to have 2 separate foreign objects in 2 completely separate dishes (on the same order) is mind boggling! DO BETTER! the flavor of the food was a 3 out of 10 at best without the extra seasonings of plastic and polyester. The rice had zero flavor or seasoning and the chicken was full blast cinnamon and nothing else. DO BETTER PLEASE!! I cannot rate the food the second time around because we didn't go near it.

We had Bliss gelato cart for our wedding back in October and it was the best decision as an addition to our late night food. Hurb was quick to communicate via email during the planning process, and everything was perfect on the day. Our guests were raving about the gelato. He allowed us to choose 6 flavours and offered gluten-free and vegan options. The quality of their gelato is truly the best in the area. Thank you Bliss!!!
Service was excellent! They have gluten-free bread!
Eggs were good, home fries were good, bacon was alright, fruit was melon/cantaloupe heavy and they were a bit flavorless but the fruits were sliced and diced very small which made it enjoyable.
Overall, good enough for the price!
They don't take AMEX :(
This is my own personal peeve about a “policy” only this location has. The guys making the sandwiches are awesome. The managing lady will not let the staff cut my gluten free sub in half! Ludicrous! They say they have this policy due to cross contamination but if you wash your knife and then cut it I am not understanding the issue? Instead I am handed a cardboard knife to cut it myself😂. Impossible….since these play knives do not cut. If I’m the customer. And I’m the one with celiac willing to suffer if there is by chance cross contamination, shouldn’t you just wash your knife and cut my sub? Every other location cuts it if I ask. Wash the knife….then cut. Problem solved. Customer happy.
