Just when I thought I wouldn't find a gluten-free bakery in the center of Rome... What a discovery ❤️
The pistachio croissant was delicious, as was the cannoli, the sausage and spinach pizza, and the tomato arancino.
And the service was unbeatable. I came back just to thank them for how delicious everything was.
Sometimes it's a little scary to go to another country as a celiac, but I would do it again and again.
The restaurant isn't bad at all. The food is generally of good quality, and the price is as expected, maybe a little higher, but nothing out of this world. There are gluten-friendly options, although I feel like it's bought at the supermarket on the corner, nothing homemade, zero effort.
We initially thought the service was good, but toward the end of the meal, they gave us the bill without asking, while we were drinking coffee (just us, no other tables received this treatment), which seemed odd.
I recommend trying the carbonara (not gluten-friendly); it's very good.
Passing through Rome, finding ourselves in Campo d Fiori, we were struck by this place full of people, we understood the reason and why!!!!
I would have given 5 stars and even more if I could just for the attention paid to me being celiac, I find the gluten-free rummo, top!!!
The carbonara is very good, perfectly cooked,
Excellent Florentine, good artichoke both fried and seasoned
Staff quite sociable especially with my friend's 2 children, who patiently were not disturbed but kept them entertained
I hope to return when I return from the Canary Islands, in the meantime good work and best wishes from Scilla
The guy serving us obviously loves the products he sells and took time to explain things to asked based on our questions.
I'm not a gelato expert and so I can't say if this was the best or not best but we thoroughly enjoyed it. I was dubious at first because I like to buy gelato in the tins with lids on them but after doing a taste test and asking another customer we were super confident to buy from here. A bit more expensive than other places for sure but very enjoyable and very intense flavours.
Gluten free cones too
Very elegant restaurant in the historic center of Rome. A refined cuisine but with simple and delicate flavors, everything delicious when eaten. Friendly and nice staff topped off with a remarkable service. In addition, my vegetarian friend was able to eat peacefully since they have a wide selection of vegetarian dishes to choose from. Also suitable for gluten free. Highly recommended, and definitely worth returning to.
P.S. The Florentine beef tartare is out of this world.
Exceptional gluten-free pizza! A little high Neapolitan style, soft and crunchy at the same time! If you are in Rome, you absolutely must try it! Super!
I came in just for a coffee, which was still excellent in flavor, aroma and creaminess, and I was attracted by the vast choice of artisanal ice cream flavors.
In the end I asked for a cup and chose only salted Bronte pistachio.
What can I say... you can immediately taste that the ice cream is artisanal (not frozen, not watery) and appreciate the flavor you chose.
All flavors are gluten-free, with the relative cones available.
