Excellent gluten free and lactose free selection, the pub atmosphere where you eat with your hands has been lost. Some burnt edges, but overall excellent quality
I have to compliment you on the way I ate GLUTEN FREE, both for the appetizers (fried in breadcrumbs) and first courses, for the first time I ate the ravioli cooked at the gluten-free restaurant, excellent, the spaghetti also delicious, all really good, the The only small flaw was the slightly excessive price, for a fixed menu, a few years ago it was more affordable, I will return as soon as possible with friends to give 5 stars CONGRATULATIONS
Highly recommended, especially to those like me who love low and crunchy but soft pizza at the same time, the gluten-free pizza is excellent, the homemade desserts are exquisite, the interior of the place is really lovely, the staff are very kind and helpful... we will definitely be back
Welcoming place and friendly staff..... We took two sandwiches, one of which was gluten-free, both delicious.... Also the baked potatoes and the brownie kindly offered by the house....we will definitely return!!!
When the manager of the BnB where I am staying suggested this bistro to me, I thought of the usual partnership that occurs between accommodation and catering establishments. Upon entering I was also prejudiced: empty place, elegant almost cool.
And yet, what a surprise!
Welcomed with a smile, they have many excellent gluten free dishes (I'm orgasming over a plate of AL DENTE penne 🤩 with crispy bacon, burrata, pistachio and chopped hazelnuts), an excellent selection of wines and beers.
In such a cool place, perhaps I wouldn't put a television that looks a bit like a petrol station, BUT WHO AM I TO CRITICIZE THOSE WHO MANAGE TO MAKE GLUTEN FREE PENNETTA AL dente?
Even the bread is good... with the seeds... I could be moved 🤩
Small but nice and well-kept place with few tables, the menu is not extensive but there is a good choice of options, including gluten-free options. The dishes are excellent with good, expertly cooked raw materials. The service is super Matteo the waiter with his friendly attitude immediately puts you at ease and knows how to expertly advise you he let us taste some excellent pasta and potatoes but also the pumpkin caponata was no joke, the meat was also excellent. The only thing that I didn't like were the mixed mushrooms used in the dish I ordered, quality but still industrial mushrooms. Excellent value for money.
I am a Leccese on vacation with my family. We ate a truly exquisite pasta alla Norma, for which we were not asked for any supplement because one was gluten-free; something that is a constant in other restaurants! The risotto alla pescatora was also fabulous. Being a Saturday night among other things and despite the restaurant being full, we did not wait long for dinner. Typical Sicilian restaurant, very clean. We were impressed by the service of plates that were typical Sicilian ceramics... truly a spectacle.
Very kind service from the staff and the owner.
Compliments.
I definitely recommend it.
Friendly and extremely helpful staff, I speak as a celiac, little choice for fried food, only potatoes and frankfurters. Be careful when it comes to frankfurters. Be careful about cooking, also pay attention to the price. Honestly, 8 euros seems a bit excessive to me, but perhaps they've made a mistake, but I can guarantee you for the pizza wow.... worth trying obviously if they charge for it but so much so, quality ingredients really excellent pizza, they should pay attention to a few more appetizers, for the gluten free, I will return for the 5 stars because the pizza deserves them.
The staff were very courteous and helpful, very attentive to the kitchen, we sat down at 2pm and left at 4.30pm. Dishes freshly prepared by Maria Prima of good quality, the peppered mussels and the platter of cured meats and cheeses were decent, the "stormy sea" appetizer a little less so, perhaps for us they were a little particular tastes. I highly recommend the first courses, all of which are excellent, from linguine with lobster to those with clams, the meat is also of good quality, the swordfish a little less so, but as you know, it's not the period. The wine list is also good, as are the desserts, especially the artisanal panettone "overflowing" with chocolate, inside, outside is in addition!!!. Excellent value for money we paid 35 per person and moreover it is possible to have almost all gluten-free dishes. Highly recommended place
For Sunday lunch with the family we choose this restaurant, already knowing it and knowing that they offer gluten-free options.
A gentleman arrives to order and I ask specifically if their lentil-based first course can also be made gluten-free, he replies yes, but having reminded me that some brands of lentils may contain traces of gluten I ask him if the lentils used are gluten-free, in a very unpleasant manner he replies with "I don't know". It came naturally to me to reply and ask if he could inquire or simply check if there was anything written in the package, he always tells me with very little professionalism that he doesn't know and that among other things he is a lawyer and that he is not in the sector.
Please don't improvise, the catering field is a serious field especially when there are people with allergy problems. Perhaps it is better for him to continue his profession as a lawyer and leave the role of restaurateur to competent people.
The meal was average, nothing exceptional.
Very positive review for this place. Let's start with the starter which was only for one person but we had to share as it was very abundant! Tasty fish, especially the prawns and the prawn cocktail deserve a special mention. We took a pasta with clams, gluten-free, really good even if slightly salty... the 5 stars for me are deserved by the almond pastries, made on the spot... they were something spectacular, really.
The staff is very kind, helpful, the lady of exquisite sweetness even helped me by holding my little girl so I could eat in peace. I will happily return
