They are careful with allergies and have lots of gluten free options. They even have free gluten free cornbread to start your meal off once you let them know you have a gluten allergy
This is my new favorite place. They have organic juices, smoothies using TruVani protein powder (which I love) and amazing bowls. No soy, no corn, no gluten. The macro bowl was fantastic!! Highly recommend!!! Please consider opening one in Redondo Beach - we need something just like this. I would be you biggest fan!
very good solid restaurant chain. good quality food, several gluten free options, some of the best unique desserts around, and they are single serving @~$4 each. (my wife loves the key lime) (unfortunately not a lot of gluten free options)
The location is great! Right next to our hotel, within walking distance w gluten-free and vegan options!! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!! Also the acai bowls are AMAZING!!
Absolutely delicious! I had the butternut squash enchiladas and the chocolate mousse, along with a mocktail. I appreciate a vegan restaurant that has plenty of satisfying gluten free options, which Seabird does. The service was friendly and attentive. Enthusiastically recommended!!
Amazing gluten free chicken!! This is the only place I’ve found that has gluten free fried chicken it was 10/10. Their fries were also great and they have some really good sauce options.
This is our go to place for a few reasons. First, my wife has celiacs so the gluten free pancakes along with the safe handling by the cooks above makes it worth it. Second, the food is perfect no matter what you order. They answer any questions you have and accommodate almost any requests for food prep. Third, the friendliness! The staff are great and remember us even though we may not visit frequently enough to warrant it! If you were just thinking about eating here, do yourself a favor and just go!
Love visiting Breakfast Republic during breakfast hours. Excellent service, delicious food priced reasonably and served in generous portions. Great selection of gluten-free options are available too.
Finest burger in the area, super nice staff. Not only that, but they offer gluten free and paleo options. I got the classic burger and fries and would definitely recommend both.
great for celiac!! all their sauces are gf so you can get anything on their gluten free penne which is made in a separate pot 🤍🤍🤍
been coming for years and never sick always delish and my food is flagged GF
This was a great experience! I have tried other gluten free pizza that I think are disgusting, but their gluten free pizza was the best I have ever had! The severs were super nice and the food was excellent! It was suggested to try the truffle fries, and we were glad we did! Definitely recommend and we’ll be back!
Enjoyed this place. Great healthy menu. Lot of gluten free options. Nice atmosphere. Sometimes service is a bit off but usually it's fine. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you.
Stella Jean’s has the best ice cream! Their flavors are original & also offer vegan & gluten free options. Ube Pandan is always a favorite. Currently in love with their seasonal flavor, black sesame coconut! If you haven’t been, it’s a must try. Great & consistent service from their team, especially Cesar!
Omg thank you so much I am celiac and found this wonderful place which is now our weekly place. It’s so difficult finding places that do gluten free and per friendly…..best tacos ever and kindest staff. Definitely our favorite….. x Tina
I am OBSESSED with the gluten-free brownie, like top 5 of my LIFE. I'm not often in a pizza mood & love veggie-forward dishes so I ordered the 3-dish veggie offering called Farmers Choice for only $16.50.
The sweet potato was cooked perfectly and so darn tasty. The broccolini hit the spot. And I was pleasantly surprised by the cauliflower combo of heat and mint.
My mom and I had an amazing brunch experience. The avocado toast was the best we’ve ever had along with their coffee. Lots of gluten free options too. Our server, Mia was so friendly, kind and attentive! Beautiful and peaceful outdoor patio. I highly recommend this spot!
Very cute restaurant located at The Camp. Service was great with friendly waitstaff, and the food was yummy. I dined with a friend who is on a strict gluten free diet, and she was happy to find discover that Vitaly had tons of gluten free options on their menu! Looking forward to trying some gelato next time.
Love this place! The food is excellent and I appreciate that they have a gluten free pizza option. Our server was so kind and attentive, just want to say thank you!
Most underrated spot in Newport/costa mesa area.
Their chicken bowl with sesame ginger sauce is borderline life changing.
The chicken is clean and always juicy, no chemicals or processed food like some of the chains on 17th.
I eat here nearly everyday cuz it’s healthy and helps me hit my macros.
They also have the best chocolate chip cookies, better than crumbl. All gluten free too!
Best healthy option Mochi donut! Guilt free like they advertise, gluten free and with added protein?!
But the best part is the taste! The flavors are unmatched and creative and nothing compares! Often imitated hardly duplicated! I recommend this don’t for breakfast or any gathering any party any function HITS every time I order !!
Second time ordering from here and obsessed. The Japanese Sweet Potato soup is out of this world; one of the best soups I’ve had. The soccata is amazing as well. Pizzas are wonderful. I’m very pleased with all of the gluten-free and vegan or dairy free options. 10/10.
We’ve been getting to go for years, but since the new location opened in Newport last year, we really enjoy dining here. I have gluten allergies, and almost always go for the salmon hook plate with only vegetables and the chimmichuri sauce. Delicious! Hubby loves the Newport finest salad, loaded with seafood, and it’s hard for him to refuse the lobster roll or lobster mac and cheese. Great bar now too!
Delightful ramen place - the broth was delicious, service was excellent, and the pork belly tasted very high quality. And they have gluten-free noodles! And hot sake. It's a small spot, so might be worth getting on the wait list if you want to dine in. Saw a lot of takeout orders happening. There are also other Japanese restaurants and a cute coffee shop in the same shopping center.
We have eaten at the Plot in Oceanside and also the express takeout in Carlsbad many times.. absolutely Love Love it!
We were so happy they opened one closer to us at “The Camp” by south coast plaza.
Everyone who works here treats you like family! So warm and genuine. It’s a small family owned restaurant ALL VEGAN (owners are awesome too) They are happy to explain the dishes and all the care that goes into what you are going to be eating. It is all Plant Based and locally sourced.
The Plot is adorable and funky..it’s quaint and totally hip… like your eating in a giant tent yert!
There is also heated outdoor seating if you have a pet with you too!
They have dishes that are Organic , nut free or Gluten Free etc just ask them . There is really something for every taste at the plot. The food is so tasty clean and absolutely beautifully prepared..you can taste the love in every bite
We love the cheezyyy truffle fry’s and the Chronic Sushi. The Chix and biscuits is crazy good as well (if you want something a little heavier) but delish. Whatever you order you really can’t go wrong here we have enjoyed everything.
THE PLOT IS THE PLACE! Totally worth the little hassle of the busy parking lot. Make reservations get there a little early and look at the cute shops nearby because it can get very very busy!
Upscale looking restaurant that is priced accordingly. Food was flavorful, but did not sit well with some of us afterwards. They can modify dishes to be gluten and dairy free.
These are really the most finely crafted sandwiches you'll find! Every single one is so amazingly delicious! The gluten free wrap that they use is also very good! They also serve breakfast and coffee! Couldn't recommend it more! The Maddock Melee, the tuna melt, and the Perfect Burger are my favorites.
My friend and I ordered ribeye steak dinners, baked potatoes and grilled vegetables, and we both loved our dinners! I need to eat gluten free, and they were careful to avoid gluten ingredients and cross-contamination.
One of my favorite go-to spots for a comforting and delicious meal! Food is exceptional, staff are always so friendly and kind, and as someone with a lot of food sensitivities, I appreciate the gluten free and dairy free options available. A must-try in the area.
Great place to grab a quick healthy meal. Menu has a nice variety of entrees, sides, combos & pastries to choose from, including gluten-free and vegan options. I tend to lean towards the "build your own" salad, however I love their Turkey Melt!!
NOT GLUTEN FREE: Shouldn’t Advertise as Gluten Free. You cook your so called GF chips in the same oil as everything else that’s not GF. Good thing I asked. Didn’t matter though, got cross contaminated eating the GF tacos and was sick for 2 days.
This is a fantastic place. The location is convenient to local business, the freeway, the mall and the theater. The food is excellent. They have a wife selection of seafood, including a really bar with daily selection of oysters. There are gluten free options and they are very allergy friendly. Overall I would recommend this place to any seafood lover looking for a nice upscale plane to dine.
I loved my experience here! Gluten free option are listed on the menu. Not too much sauce, so you can really enjoy the freshness. The staff could be better informed about the wine and sake list as far as flavor profiles and pairing recommendations. Shane seemed to really enjoy making the dishes, and he was quick to interact with dinners.
Here’s my assessment, it will be fair - positive and negative explained. I am a foodie from a restaurant family, understand the customer and restaurant perspectives from a professional standpoint.
I came here years ago and it was primo, astounding. I will say about my delivery tonight what was needing improvement, what was good, what was excellent.
First, the side salad was offensively small really should be a fair portion for $5. The salad bag was separate — and when I took it from the delivery driver it was so light, I thought the bag was empty. It was 1/2 cup fluffy and 1/4 cup pressed down. So, I argued with myself, “well Maybe they it would fall out of the Bottom of the container”. Then I opened the dressing — and there was only half of a tiny container full, a tablespoon max, not enough to cover the salad. Really folks?
However, the greens themselves were fresh and tasted good in their natural form. You are not straining cost or cutting profit to deliver a bit more lettuce and dressing. It’s the first impression. Perhaps this is different when you dine-in?
Next, I ordered bolognese spaghetti with meatballs, gluten free. I think I got mostaccioli, and that was totally cool. The bolognese sauce was super good, fresh, flavorful, savory and I am foodie - so harder to win.. The 3 small meatballs were tasty, but small and the overall portion was small, not as severe as the salad/dressing. I would say go up to a medium size.
But I loved the flavor so much- that despite the small portion/meatballs on the pasta - on this I give 4 out of 5 for overall rating.
You forgot the plastic utensils I ordered, as I was eating outside, but a real fork from the house was better. I was starting to think you were perhaps cutting costs in a challenging time, and I have noticed some price hikes with some local restaurants, so I try to empathize that perhaps costs may have increased.
So, finally, I am reaching in the bag for a napkin and expect now to find one small napkin.
Instead I find 3 of the best, strongest, highest quality, multiple ply napkins I have ever received from a restaurant. They are hands down the best paper napkins of all time, still have two left.
So loved the pasta dish flavor, disappointed in the portions, On the downside, the tablespoon (at most) of salad dressing made the handful of salad double offensive. You won me with the napkins and it made me laugh.
The sauce was a winner, and as was your gluten free pasta (requirement for me) but overall the small portions and execution was less than hoped for.
I do plan to consider you again, but you could become a more frequent choice if you make a few small adjustments and or corrections..
As of now, I have a few alternatives that deliver the complete package in fair portions, attention to detail, and savory food. You are a few lengths back, but if you pull forward, I will bet on you and give you my business!
