OBSESSED. I will definitely be back during my next trip and went twice during this one. The servers were knowledgeable and the menu is 99% gluten free (the dessert is the only non-GF food on the menu). Highly recommend for celiacs.
First, service was fantastic with Nathaniel and Manager Patrick. Gluten-free was necessary without corn/corn syrup. Found a dressing that worked on the salad.
Portions of course, wow a lot. Great price.
Atmosphere was a little loud due to busy restaurant.
Thank you to these 2 gentlemen making lunch a wonderful experience.
Elizabeth was an amazing server! She went out of her way to make sure I was able to have the meal that I wanted. The gluten free pancakes were so good. Thank you!
I have eaten here three times now and love it every time. GF items are marked on the menu and include açaí bowls, sandwiches on GF bread, salads and more. I recommend the Bali Crunch Açaí bowl - they use gluten free granola on all their açaí bowls so it is celiac safe! I tell the server I have a gluten allergy and they mark it on the order so the chef is aware and takes extra precautions.
Excellent service and great products! A great option for those looking for healthy pastries, as they have many gluten-, sugar-, and lactose-free options! The coffee is very good, and the staff is unbeatable. Thank you!
Well I've been to MASSIVELY OVERPRICED restaurants that serve insultingly bad and shameful food before, but this place is one of, IF NOTTHE WORST example l've come across. They have pita bread in Isreal and it's fantastic. This place slides a rock hard, inedible piece of what can only be described as thin cardboard under what they call "Shwarma". I assure you it is not
Shwarma. It was blandly seasoned low quality chicken chopped into pieces on a cutting board, fat and cartilage included, and piled on that piece of cardboard AND they have the NERVE to call it Shwarma.
And for $32!!! Shame on you. That item should be on a children's menu for $12.
And even then I would say, it's terrible and disgusting and still a ripoff.
The prices in this place are STAGGERING AND A COMPLETE RIPOFF. THE ENTIRE MENU is designed to rip you off. The menu reads, "ask about portions as the plates are designed for sharing". I asked how many ribs come in the order for $33 as there were 6 of us; the server said 1. Shamefull restauranture and executive chef. None of the sharable items are for more than 1, not for 2 or more people.
By my calculations- if you go here with 4-6 people and order accordingly you will spend $600-$800. Just go to Joes's Stone Crab and spend $400. Or go to ANY kosher steakhouse and spend far less, get great food, reasonable portions and spend less than $100-$150 a person including drinks.
$10 for a beer?!?!? They don’t even have $10 beers in Manhattan? Is the food good, Absolutely not!! Far from it.The beef hummus- $24 and barely enough for 1 person, not to share. Barely 3oz of hummus and barely 1/4 oz of ground beef for $24- and not a sharing portion AT ALL, so what-we are supposed to DO? order 3-4 of these for 6 people to the tune of $75-$100?!!!!?? For hummus with a little ground beef sprinkled on it?!?! You disgust me. Shame on the owner. Shame on the chef. You should be mortified & embarrassed.
It's ONE THING if the food is exemplary and high quality as well as the service and cleanliness.
It would be a different story if you said, wow that was the best food I've had in a while, that's delicious. BUT NO! you are left thinking- this place is bad.Really bad! And they are out to take your money to pay the rent.
How dare you? I NEVER THOUGHT I'D EVER SAY THIS- I would have rather gone upstairs to Serifina, & SERIFINA IS horrible.
SMH.The server was asked is there anything gluten-free to dip in the hummus. He offered the "Crude-dites." Which turned out to be "crudités" pronounced "crew-dah-tay" its French. For raw veggies. For $12 he didn't know what that was. AND again, not even close to a shareable plate for more than 2 people, maybe. Mind you, when we asked, AGAIN, after the CREW-DITES arrived lol for something gluten free- we got what was available all the while.
The staff doesn't know what's on the menu. They don't know position numbers when serving entrees. We don't need an announcement of each entree to see who raises their hand- if you don't know who gets what just leave and take your crapy overpriced food with you.
They don't know how to pronounce items on the menu. They don't know what "no ice" means when ordering a lemonade.
THEY ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SHWARMA IS.
They don't seem to know how to clean properly. They don't know how to portion dishes accurately and price them accordingly. ThiS place is ALL ABOUT PROFIT MARGINS AT YOUR EXPENSE.
This place fails on all accounts. Not to mention the flies or whatever insects flying around the table/restaurant. Likely means they don't clean well.
If the prices were 50% of what they are, it would at least make sense having such bad food & small portions BUT I would still say, it's garbage not worth your time. OR MONEY.
Food is crap. Service stinks. Bugs. Prices are ridiculous. Portions are offensive. Clean your restaurant. Make edible food. Educate your servers. The chef should go to YouTube and watch a video to learn what Shwarma is and how to make it. They DO NOT HAVE A SHWARMA SPIT. Shameful.
I called 4 times. No one cares.
I've never had my order so messed up, asked for no onions and peppers on the cheese steak and onions and pepper were on half the sub, asked for gluten free bread cause my mom is ALLERGIC her sub didn't have gluten free bread and they put bacon on her sub instead of my dad's. Like I honestly have no clue who could mess up THIS badly
I went with my parents tonight and Eli was the bartender and our server.. she was on top of my gluten free intolerance.. helped thru the menu and I was very nice to us! Definitely coming back
One of our favorite Peruvian spots!! Food is amazing!!! And all staff is beyond!! Specially Juan Ferrera! Took great care of us! After a day of incredible shopping at the mall, it was the best place to have delicious food and great cocktails!!. If you have food allergies like gluten, they have many modifications they can do to accommodate!
I’m incredibly grateful for this amazing spot, which has become my go-to for lunch almost every day. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and coffee are consistently excellent. They offer delicious homemade salted salmon, and their beet salad and lobster bisque are absolute must-tries. They offer a lot of healthy options, and their gluten-free pizza is also fantastic!
One of the things I love most here is the exceptional service. Irina always goes out of her way to make me feel at home, with my favorite table ready and a bowl of water waiting for my dog, who seemed to become everyone’s favorite at this restaurant!
However, I did have an unfortunate experience when I stopped by in the evening over the weekend. I was given a less desirable table by Ada, and when I asked for a different one, she mentioned that all other tables were reserved. Additionally, she requested a service dog card, which I had never been asked for before. It was the first time I felt unwelcome here and left, despite being such a frequent visitor.
While I’ve decided to stick to daytime visits to avoid any issues, I still wholeheartedly recommend this spot for its great food and daytime service. It's a wonderful place for lunch, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
My husband and I went for lunch on New Years Eve weekend. We received exquisite service from Betty. She was very attentive, and informative. After she went over their daily specials, I immediately order the Wagyu with caviar and black truffle with a side of gluten free penne with marinara sauce. My husband ordered the white truffle pasta with lobster. Our meals were delicious. Finished our meal with an expresso martini and a macchiato, ending our year with a wonderful experience. We also really enjoyed how friendly and sweet all of the staff was from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, with lots of waves and new year wishes.
Beautiful place to go for dinner. They also have gluten free pastas for those of us who need to follow a GF diet due to our health. I attended a large dinner last night and everything was very nice.
this place is great. i didn't expect to like it so much but the food was really good and the waitress was really sweet. they accommodated my gluten allergy
Food and service is amazing, specifically Daniel has taken amazing care of us every time we go. We have multiple members in our party that are gluten-free and he assures us that he does everything possible to make sure that the dish is 100% gluten-free and we have never gotten sick. DANIEL is the best.
The atmosphere is beautiful with the olive trees and unique lighting. Great food. They can easily make most dishes gluten free. Everything we ordered we loved. The staff were attentive and helpful. I also got the cauliflower appetizer and falafel, both 10/10 (not pictured- they got eaten too quickly). The lamb kefta was nicely seasoned, the steak was cooked to perfection. And the tahini ice cream for desert was a must-try! It was such a unique twist on soft serve and we thought it was made with real ice cream :O!!! All of the dishes were spectacular, the seasonings and flavor combinations are perfect perfection. It’s a long drive to come to this restaurant, and I look forward to it every time.
Love the gluten free (friendly) pizza they serve. I ended up sharing with those who can eat gluten. Crisp and delicious crust! Salads and wings are fantastic too.
Very good food, atmosphere is very pleasant as well as the service. Service was very good, had waiters check up on my party very often ensuring everything is perfect. For sure must come and check out you will not be disappointed. Menu choices were all reasonably priced and lots of variety on the menu as well as options for gluten free meals. My server Carlos was fantastic, and humorous. The risotto was perfect not too firm not too soft with a nice citrus hint. Pizza was homemade and so good. They even have a bocci and bowling ally on the second floor with a very nice patio view. The music fits so well with the environment and atmosphere.
The pokes are good. The thing is I’m celiac (I eat gluten free) and in the menu there are sauces labeled with GF. The cashier told me GF doesn’t stand for Gluten free and he didn’t appear to know what gluten is because he started doubting and couldn’t tell me which sauces were gluten free.
He asked if we wanted our sauces in the poke or on the side and I said of on the side without knowing he would charge us extra for each sauce!
Plus, he skipped the part in which I could put my email for loyalty points and when I asked he told me it was late because the order had already been processed.
Food is good but the cashier really didn’t help at all. I couldn’t order online because I don’t have a US phone so that was my only alternative.
Wow, what delicious food! healthy! Everything is fresh and plenty of options, there is also amazing gluten-free food!! And you can sit there and work with the computer! Good vibes !

The ice cream is amazing and they have gluten free options as well. If you become a rewards member you can get free ice cream after a certain number of purchases. I recommend banana pudding or cookies and cream.
Second time we’ve been here… loved it again! The food is delicious and the service is phenomenal… I’m gluten free and they really care about making the meal gluten free. Can’t say better things about this restaurant! A new staple for our family
