Unfortunate experience with being glutened here. Has always been one of the safe places in the area, but lately kitchen staff seems to be lax about precautions to prevent cross contamination. Beware.

I loved this place. The Airbnb we were staying at left a $10 gift card to this cafe so we decided to check it out and were pleasantly surprised. We ended up going twice during our stay. We went around 10:00 am both times and found a line 5-10 people long each time. I only purchased food items, so I can't comment on the beverages but others there seemed pleased. We had two of their paninis, salad, quiche, gluten free brownie, and berry scone. All of them were delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Chef Elvis and waiter Lloyd matched our ideal definition of hospitality. We need more stars for this restaurant but we almost want to keep it our secret for when we go for car service at the Electrified Garage. Amesbury with it's mills and river is extremely charming. The Coop is no exception. The food was delightful. I had the half chicken with an amazing glaze and an Allagash Ale. My wife had the delicious gluten free Arepas and a Glutenburg IPA.. a rare find. Worth every penny. I'll have to make excuses to get my car serviced so we can make the long trip and enjoy a nice meal in our ideal atmosphere.

We were passing through town and had take-out delivered through DoorDash to our hotel. Food was incredible tasting, generously portioned, and full of complex flavor. We will order again if in the area, or maybe even visit the restaurant in person! Gluten Free penne pasta was a hit!
