My partner and I visit Macomb a few times a year and always make sure to include a trip to Testa Barra while here. Being diagnosed with Celiac has been incredibly challenging but places like Testa Barra really ease that anxiety. It's difficult to find tasty gluten free pasta or pizza and TB has both! The gf crust is amazing and the pasta was great as well. Our server catered to our allergy very well! Highly recommend checking this place out! Definitely find TB to be celiac safe!

I have to say this establishment had the best house made from scratch food and crafted cocktails. Location is small and intimate. Reservations highly recommended. This was an elevated small plate type experience. We ordered a large number of items for the table and enjoyed everything , sharing all between four people. Gluten free items available too! Some items we creatively dividing for four. LOL A definite return experience and area gem! Reminds me of my other fave restaurant Naked Burger in that all food is scratch prepared in-house offering specialty craft cocktails! The art of cooking with quality products remains alive and well. If you are seeking somewhere to dine that just tastes delicious. This is certainly a treat!

Jersey Mikes is my sub shop of choice, normally. I have celiac and normally Jersey Mile’s is very accommodating to my allergy. I have been to multiple other Jersey Mike’s and have had a great experience. Needless to say I did not have the same experience here. I asked for a sub in a tub and notified the worker of my gluten allergy. Normally they make my sub tub in the back or on a completely clean slicer. All he did was haphazardly wipe off the slicing machine (that we just saw him slicing bread on) and the station, wiping multiple bread crumbs into the tomatoes. They did not get a clean slicer or cutting board. Making it completely inedible for me. Very disappointed as I have had great experiences at other Jersey Mikes. More allergy safety training is definitely needed here.

I have celiac disease which is a severe gluten allergy. I got a takeout from here this week. I was told by the staff that they take every precaution to ensure safety when it comes to food allergies. I ordered a smashburger & mashed potatoes. The smashburger came with no bun which is fine. The food was delicious, but I got glutened and I have been very very ill.
After speaking with the manager and explaining what happened, the manager said that she was sorry and that the restaurant takes every precaution, but there may have been some cross contamination. The manager did not offer to refund my food that made me sick. If you are celiac or have food allergies, do not eat here.
