Lunch time on a Sunday, and we were the only ones in the place, which was a bit surprising because the food is out of this world!
The restaurant is beautiful. White linens. Gold framed paintings. Dimmed lighting. Lovely.
She had the beef stuffed ravioli -- exquisite.
I had the tutti di mare (gluten free, because they do that here and do it well) -- absolutely succulent.
Salads -- crisp, fresh, delicious.
Cannoli -- the freshest I've ever had. Decadent.
Upon my request, our server even made me a lavender Italian soda. Perfection.
She was friendly and attentive, and even let me know that the cannoli was not gluten free, because I had chosen gluten-free options for the other parts of my meal.
Every experience I've had here has been like this one. Never bad service. Never a bad food item. Magdaleno's is hands-down, my favorite Italian restaurant.
Upscale lunch and dinner with elevated pub style foods. Owner has gluten intolerance and understanding of celiac and dietary needs. They have gluten free buns, fries, pasta, and many naturally gluten free dishes. I have had fantastic experiences here as a symptomatic celiac.

I'm sad to write this review.
Quality has sadly gone way downhill since the new owners took over. I've been eating Frank's since the 1970s; I know what it should taste like. Today's pie was terrible. Sauce isn't the same, and the crust was either not made with quality, high gluten flour, and probably over proofed.
The bacon was missing, but since I didn't check the box,I didn't discover that until we got home. It didn't eat like a fresh pie, but rather one that has been sitting around.
Owners need to honor the commitment they made to the former owners, and more importantly, customers.
Bye, Frank's.
