A great build your own pizza restaurant that offers an extensive variety of toppings and 5 types of crust including gluten free, cauliflower and keto. The way it works is you pick your crust and then you have the option to add as many toppings as you like. Your pizza is then baked for you in about 5 minutes. I have been to similar pics restaurants, but I find Blaze to be the best I've tried so far, mainly for the topping selection and price. This location also offers outdoor seating. I find that the main drawback to this location is that it is always very noisy in the dining room. The service had been quick and friendly when I visited. I will return here again.
I chose this restaurant while I was in town specifically because I have celiac disease and they had items on their menu that were clearly labeled as gluten free. What I was able to eat was delicious, but their gluten free labelling on the menu is incredibly misleading.
I asked our server if the tortilla chips (labelled gluten free) on the menu were fried in a fryer that also fried foods that contained gluten and was told they are. So not gluten free.
I asked if their corn tortillas for the tacos were warmed on the same surface as their flour tortillas and was told they were. So they're not gluten free. This sounds like an insane distinction if you aren't familiar with celiac disease, but I have had tacos make me sick this way in the past. Our server asked the kitchen to warm them differently and it was fine.
And again, my tacos were delicious. I appreciated that the server communicated with the kitchen to warm my tacos. But if I had trusted the menu (or I guess just ASKED if things were gluten free vs asking specifics about how items were made) I would have spent tonight very ill.
I went here today with 6 members of my family. We had a great waitress, she was very friendly and attentive. We all got something different as far as our meals, and everyone was saying their food was delicious. One of us had the gluten-free pancakes. She said they were great. I got the Fried Chicken Salad. It was very good. My only complaint is that the bowl they serve it in is not user-friendly. While it is nice to look at and makes the food aesthetically appealing, you can't lay your fork and knife on the edge as you do when you're eating. 🫤 I had a great cup of coffee, and others had Mimosas. The restaurant was busy the entire time we were there. There wasn't a spare table, and people were sitting at the bar. But, the service is quick and the flow of people was moving quickly. We all agreed we will go back soon.
This was mine and my husbands first time at this restaurant and the service was wonderful! The lady taking our order at the register was knowledgeable of the menu and very accommodating to my gluten allergy. I ordered the Be'ef and Broccoli, my husband ordered the Loded Tacos, plus we got the CauliBites with the house seasoning, as an appetizer. They also made sure all of the items we ordered were gluten free. Overall, the food was delicious and we can't wait to come back to try more items from the menu!
They took our group of 20 elementary school kids and 6 adults without a reservation. The food came incredibly fast, tasted good and the waitress was amazing. She worked around the kids, gluten intolerance, and food allergies like a pro
Cantina is always my go to restaurant especially in the city! The roasted chicken tacos are always my favorite! They have so many gluten free options too! The service at the bar or if you are sitting at a table is always amazing! The manager was very informative on higher shelf tequila and helped our group out tremendously! I will always recommended cantina! Can’t wait to visit again!
Jeremy was a fantastic server! We have a gluten allergy and they did their best to help us with any questions we had and notified the kitchen of the allergy. We will definitely be back!
Busy Friday night. Long wait and we needed to get the Charlotte so we grabbed take out. Our order included brisket, pulled pork and ribs. Sides were mac and cheese and hash and rice. I'm gluten free but husband liked the mac and cheese, it was gone before we left the parking lot. The hash and rice is super finely chopped (puree) pork over plain rice with a kick of hot sauce. My favorite but not kid friendly. The brisket was amazing. The pork was ok. The ribs were disappointing. I'd try them again just for the brisket.
Very friendly staff, they did great with my gluten allergy. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of options for me! I got moist brisket and baked beans (with brisket) and a drink, both were delicious however the brisket was on the dryer side and I do wish the beans had more brisket in them, I had maybe 3 strings of meat in my serving. Great variety of sauces also!! Overall I’d come here again for a quick and solid $20 meal

Robert was the BEST server I’ve had in a long time! He took very good care of our table of Celiacs and also took a second to train another new employee about allergies! A true treasure!
Stumbled onto this restaurant while driving across the state and so glad we did. My wife has celiac and they were great keeping her food separate and were very knowledgeable! Everyone here was great! The food was phenomenal! The sauces were flavorful and not overpowering! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back but so glad we found it and chose to stop here.
Burger chain sit down full service restaurant. Upscale sports bar vibe. Very good burgers and drinks. Free parking. Caution can be very loud. Some Gluten free options.
I first fell in love with TAF at their Greenville location, and their Columbia location did not disappoint! I had the opportunity to work here for a month, which allowed me to see how see how passionate, driven, and genuinely excited all the employees are to deliver food that is good for the body and taste phenomenal! Each and every ingredient is hand selected to curate their weekly rotating menu to ensure the customers always get the freshest ingredients prepared at the highest quality. The ingredients are individually chosen to cover all essential food nutrients to ensure a complete meal! The staff is welcoming, educated on the food they serve, and eager to help inquiring minds! In addition to their in store offering, the founder and owner, Emilie Blanchard, has curated an entire collection of her recipes on the stores website that reaches far beyond the scopes of what the in-store weekly menu offers! So be sure to check out the website for even more inspiration and wonderful ideas to fuel your everyday life!
TAF is also a great options for those with food allergies! All of the meals served here are plant-based, gluten free, and dairy free! And even if you not do have dietary restrictions the options here are so delicious! I would chose them over another restaurant every time! My personal favorites are the OG chickpea salad, ANY of the soups, and the lucky charm or strawberry cheesecake smoothie! And don't forget their grain free granola to add the perfect crunch to any smoothie!
With their grab and go concept, you can stop in to grab a wrap on the run or take your time and stock your fridge your week! No matter what you choose, rest assured that the food will not only taste delicious but will nourish your body with clean and healthy ingredients to help you feel your best!
I tried this restaurant after recently learning of my gluten allergy. The gluten free burger I got was pink.
My husbands burger was pink and we sent it back twice. They obviously cook the burgers too fast with the heat too high. The gluten bread was hard and the fries were dark and hard also. We asked for more fries twice with the same outcome.
The staff were nice and friendly & discounted our meal but they need to re evaluate how they cook well done burgers.

I enjoy Longhorn every few weeks. Regardless of when I go the staff is top notch with service that exceeds expectations. They have numerous Gluten Free options that are delicious.
Gluten -Free & Almond free options were great! We ordered a Bacon Egg& Cheese Waffle Sandwich (sub bacon w/vegan sausage); and Cheese Quesadilla w/ Vegan Sausage. the cashiers are friendly.
I had not had Jersey Mike's in yrs. I ordered a gluten free 9" sub online (so excited that they have gluten free bread since my daughter can not eat gluten). It was ready and picked up within 15 minutes. The two people working were very friendly and polite (04/06/19 @ 2:20pm.) My daughter and I split the sub which was very filling and delicious. We are going to make it a regular lunch for our mommy daughter days. Everything was fresh and wonderfully prepared. Other sub chains do not compare. Thank you for being clean, fresh and polite.
Great fresh food! There are ample gluten free protein choices and base choices. The sauces for GF are either sriracha or GF soy sauce or wasabi which is good, but I would so love to see a ginger soy sauce gf option. Still it is clean, bright, friendly and tasty.
Very tasty BBQ in vibrant Five Points Columbia! Nice selection of sides. Some meats and sides were out during our visit. Good drinks and wonderful service. Took our gluten and onion allergies seriously. Loved having a huge selection of sauces right on the table.
Free onsite parking. Lots of food and shopping nearby. Safe area with lots of activity.
Was really impressed with how serious they took me having celiac, advised what was/ was not GF/ Cross contaminated.
The GF bun for the burgers was pretty good!
Very elegant dining experience! Food is expensive, but worth the splurge for special moments or if you can afford it. Steaks are top notch and premium sides are worth it. Very Gluten Free friendly! Will go again!
p.s. might want to call first and make reservations, very popular...
What an awesome welcome from the young lady who took my order. She was friendly, fun, and really helpful. Made sure I had a gluten-free meal and didn’t miss out on the extras! What a sweetheart! Very good experience!
Everything was excellent, and the waitstaff was very helpful, considering we have a daughter with a gluten intolerance but wanted some sort of pasta but not with a red sauce.
Everyone was satisfied and full, and we took leftovers@
Excellent food but very long wait. Our server, Jonathan, was very entertaining. The parking lot is small, but there is overflow parking if you need it. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available.
Green Olive is a gem near USC! The food is incredibly tasty, delicious, and fresh. We tried both the chicken and lamb shawarma platters, and they were fantastic. The salads were crisp and flavorful, complementing the meats perfectly. Plus, everything is very affordable, making it a great spot for a quick, satisfying Mediterranean meal. They have pizza so I’ll be back! They also have gluten free and vegan options.
Super super popular, reservations recommended! We had a large party and we were able to get outside seating with a short wait. Inside would have been a lot longer. The only reason I gave 4 stars was one of our party had to send back a steak for being overdone. We had to wait a bit for our food, but it was reasonable considering how slammed the kitchen must have been. Very friendly and accommodating service. We had a party member who has a very restrictive diet, and they were able to serve him easily. Plenty of gluten-free options!
Seemed like they were training new waitresses. Nothing earthshattering, but we had to wait a whike for straws for our drinks, then, we asked for napkins, thinking that would get us silverware, too. Instead, we were given paper napkins. asked twice after.our entrees were brought out for silverware before it was brought, with cloth napkins. Tuesday night and not very busy. Ordered gluten free pasta and they were out. Chalk that up to post hurricane supply issues. Food was very good. Grilled chicken parm. was perfectly cooked, plentiful and flavorful.
The 2 coordinators on staff Rachel and missed the gentleman's name, but they both were extremely attentive to help me find something I could eat with a gluten allergy. Extremely friendly and helpful. A++++
So, I do like jersey Mike's better than other sandwich chains but I'm comparing this to the jersey Mike's on Lincoln St. They put sandwiches together really sloppy and I've had that experience twice. Although I will say those employees were working their butts off. What really annoyed me though is their order pickup is never ready in the amount of time they say. The next time I went I put my order in at 10 am for a 12pm pickup to avoid waiting. I guess it just got lost somewhere because I waited until 12:15 until someone finally asked if I was waiting for something and they found my order slip in like the back of the store. So beware of ordering farther out than "asap". For gluten free - they have sandwich bread for extra charge and Udi's snickerdoodles.
