I have known this restaurant for a very long time but this time I was really disappointed to the point of not really coming back. ☹️
I didn't know that the pattern had changed, so to my surprise the menu had also changed. There used to be a lot more gluten-free options. It’s already difficult in Belgium not to find places and for the few places we have, they take away most of the options…
As for dinner... we ordered a carpaccio as a starter... when it was served at the table, I was surprised because the carpaccio was hard, like frozen... I understand that it must be fresh, I have eaten it in many Italian restaurants all over the world but never has it been frozen... we didn't even appreciate this incredible taste of fine and delicious beef like Carpaccio is!
Then I told this to the waiter and he told me it was normal because it has to be fresh… but no, it's not the same thing fresh=frozen.
We also had a pizza that had excess oil… it’s a real shame ☹️ and the risotto was average! The portion was perfect but it lacked real risotto.
Honestly, it was one of my favorite restaurants and now I'm very disappointed...
We went there as a family and loved it, the place is beautifully decorated. Before going there we contacted Darius café on insta to ensure that products without gluten, traces of gluten and dairy products were offered there. We quickly received a response, allowing us to go there during our short stay in Liège.
A big thank you to Delphine, who once there, was of great help. She showed us the suitable pastries and served us with professionalism and good humor. It is with great pleasure that we recommend your establishment.
Top food selection!
There are even gluten-free dishes that taste great.
In addition, the toilets are very hygienic and clean!
The food was delicious!
I especially enjoyed the dessert.
Superb Italian restaurant. From the decoration to the meal to the professionalism of the waitresses, I have nothing to complain about. Plus, they offer gluten-free alternatives. My celiac partner was able to enjoy a pizza from the menu and didn't get sick!
We will come back
It's not haute cuisine, but we know that and we know what we're going to find there. there's even a gluten-free pizza (they could do a little more but it's still a step that others haven't taken)!

Excellent evening. Beautiful table of 8 placed along the window. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. We were served by a very competent young waitress who knew the menu perfectly. Excellent pizzas with delicious dough. Offers gluten-free pizzas! And a gourmet coffee.
I'm celiac (meaning I can't eat gluten). I always took and asked if the truffle fries they cook don't contain gluten. I was always told that it did not contain any, and today they told me that the fries contained gluten. It’s really scandalous to have made me eat fries that contained gluten the other times, whereas when celiacs eat gluten, it destroys our intestines!!!!
on the site it is clearly marked that ALL fries are gluten-free!
Superb gluten-free pasta! Very friendly managers who are very knowledgeable about allergies: it's really very pleasant when you experience an obstacle course every time you want to have lunch outside your home. Address to recommend!
Found this place online and it was awesome! Best burguers ive had in a long time and the gluten free bun was spectacular! Everything was really good and the service was spectacular
Very friendly staff who always try to satisfy the customer. Gluten-free, lactose-free and vegetarian options! The atmosphere is cozy and the prices very affordable for fresh food.
A pleasure to find this kind of restaurant in SPA 🥰
Welcoming place, very kind and present staff. We had dinner here without a reservation and we were seated immediately. Good menu, which includes a selection of biscuits, hamburgers, salads and also dishes of the day (they had some very good mussels). Vegan/vegetarian options and also gluten-free. Average price.
A place where the hostess herself has celiac disease and knows exactly what is and is not possible. Of the main courses, only the game stew contained gluten, and the thickened sauces are also all gluten-free. The Ardennaise sauce (bound mushroom sauce with Ardennes ham) was extremely tasty and in large quantities. For the desserts, the cream and sorbet ice cream are both gluten-free.
Hello, I visited the place, it was a wonderful experience. It was very delicious. There were also gluten free pancakes for those on a diet. I loved this place.
Our favorite restaurant. Beyond expectations. The cuisine offered is a real treat.
Hearty and tasty dishes that change with the seasons!!!
Everything is natural and local.
Breakfast-dinner formula an exceptional idea (not found anywhere else!)
Vegan cuisine, gluten-free, lactose-free too if necessary!!
An exclusive selection of local drinks, cocktails and so much more.
Place to spend time with friends and family, with a lovely children's area for coloring and reading!
We love it and go there 1/2 times a month. :-)
We went to this restaurant for the first time. Friendly setting, fireside atmosphere... Unable to eat gluten, it was a pleasant discovery to see that the chef had prepared appetizers, bread, pasta and even gluten-free pancakes! But besides that, everything was very good.
We will come back without hesitation!
The food was incredibly flavorful! As a coeliac, I could dine there without worry. The team was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, attentive, and highly aware of gluten, ensuring dishes could be modified as needed. A fantastic experience!
Very cozy restaurant with charming and authentic interior. As a person with celiac disease who cannot eat gluten, it is sometimes difficult to find a restaurant that takes this into account. The owners took this very much into account and had even cleaned out their separate fryer as a preventive measure (!) I enjoyed a baked salmon with a delicious salad and fries. My friend had a stew that was also very tasty. We will definitely come back when we are in the Ardennes again!
Wide choice of burgers. Excellent cuisine, fast service and a little extra for the possibility of having gluten-free bread and a vegetarian option 👌something to please everyone 😊
It was the first time I ate at Ventre Content and my stomach was very happy (I had to do it hehe). And not just my stomach!!!
Indeed, the warm atmosphere with vintage decor charmed me. (Little bonus point for the mismatched dishes, I love that)
The quality of the products is top notch, the presentation of the dishes is elaborate, colorful and appetizing.
The prices are affordable, the quality/price ratio more than correct.
The concept is great, eating vegan can be scary and seem complicated or bad but this restaurant proves us the opposite, it makes us realize that we can eat appetizing and gourmet dishes without any animal suffering. It is also ideal for food intolerances (lactose, gluten, etc.)
In short, I will go back and I can't wait to taste the new recipes 😋
Very pleasant terrace, with music, to enjoy the sun and life. Delicious cocktails, they bring free snacks with the drink. We had dinner there since they had vegan and gluten-free options (at least bowls and burgers). The falafel in the bowl was very good although it would have been nice if at least the quinoa had some marinade. There were sauces on the table to add but none gluten-free
Excellent experience at L’Escale à Huy! The assortment of grilled meats was delicious, and the Gin Violette that I tasted was perfect. Special mention to the very nice server. We needed a gluten-free menu, and this was accommodated without any problem. An address to recommend!
This restaurant is right by the river in the city center and their food is amazing. They are able to accommodate multiple dietary restrictions. They have a list of all the allergens in each dish. They also understand about gluten cross-contamination and are able to prepare something gluten-free for a celiac. It is still important you communicate about this with them and ask the necessary questions. I used my diet card from Legal Nomads and they understood everything pretty well. They didn't have a dedicated frier or oven but besides that everything was possible. I had the mussles and the crème brulé 😋 both were amazing. They also offered a boiled potato in place of the fries. I really recommend this place if you are in Dinant!
Excellent restaurant! Small menu but succulent and magnificent dishes. I almost had a starter for dessert because it was so good. Super professional service. Super pleasant and attentive staff. Worthy of a starred restaurant! That's the impression they gave me. Gluten-free bread available on request. Very pleasant terrace. The card changes several times a month. I highly recommend!
Great food, service, atmosphere and Karim was great at recommending food compatible with ingredients I couldn't consume (celiac, gluten).
Incredible all around.
For Spaniards, everything is great, in the square and at a good price.
A very pleasant, calm and rejuvenating setting.
The welcome is excellent, the servers are very attentive, and the passionate chef comes to talk to you a little.
I have gluten and lactose intolerances, and everything has been modified so that I can eat without fear.
The portions are not huge, you don't leave with a full, hard and bloated stomach. The price of 75€ per person (without the selection of drinks which we didn't have) can be a little expensive, but given that we rarely do this kind of outing and that it was for an occasion, it didn't bother us. no problem!
I really recommend this place for a romantic dinner :)

Great discovery this May 27.
Good welcome, excellent advice from the waiter. Succulent appetizer. Excellent meal in every way. Gluten free dough for our daughter's allergy, thank you. To do again without hesitation.
