I am a Celiac and Stan and his staff never fail in making my food GF, no cross contamination.
Also, the food here seems to be cooked better then even other Pizza Pizza locations.
The customer service is amazing also, if there any concerns with the order they have offered to remake/remedy the issue with no hassel.
Don't miss this spot. I found it on a cross country trip through Northern Ontario and it was the right way to start the day. A menu board posted outside shows their many fresh offerings of the day, and when you pull up a server comes to your car and takes your order. I ordered, waited in my car and was back on the road in minutes. They have excellent lattes, house made syrups, and the best gluten friendly muffin I have EVER had. Thanks Bay Village Coffee!!

Ordered the bruschetta omelette and was not disappointed. Great portions, not greasy, and very friendly staff. They also offer gluten-free options and have a dedicated section on their menu.
Loved everything!
I am a real foodie and they impressed me.
I am gluten free so my only gripe was that the au jus for the prime rib wasn't gluten free. There's no reason for it not to be. Nevertheless, I had the prime rib and it was melt in your mouth goodness. - And the horseradish! OMG! That's what I call horseradish! It cleared my sinuses and brought tears of joy to my eyes.
Our go to favourite in Thunder Bay is Seler, but unfortunately they aren't open on Sunday. Too bad for them and good on The Keg for being open.
My wife is gluten-free and tried the cauliflower crust pizza. It was okay but only tepid in temperature. I ordered the chicken parm. The server paid no attention to us. She did not check back after a few bites, did not offer extra parm cheese, and did not refill our drinks. We only saw her at the end with the bill. She still got a 15% tip but likely deserved much less.
Tacos and taquitos are my go to. Great option for gluten free people. Chicken is a bit spicy if you're not used to spice but still great. Love the pork too. My new go to for takeout. Tastes great the next day cold for leftovers which is rare for take up 👌
My wife has celiacs disease and when I asked for a gluten free pita I did not get the normal huffing and puffing but instead the women said absolutely no problem and not only cleaned the grill but also had all her cooking utensil cleaned and sterilized. Thank you so much to the young lady and gentlemen at thunder bay pita pit yesterday
Our experience was great! Our server, Adrian, was incredible! She was energetic and funny. There were a lot of great gluten free options, and these were some of the best fries I’ve had!
Omgoodness k. Very friendly staff! Great service! Food was awesome just classic but cooked to perfection! Not to mention they have gluten friendly options! They can do thier burgers on the gluten free bread they have as well as thier sammies! Amazing selection of local beers, great location for Westfort area! Clean and great atmosphere! Go Thunderbay this is truly an iconic place!
Pizza restaurants in the US could really learn from Boston Pizza. This was our first visit to Boston Pizza and I couldn't believe how awesome the gluten free crust was. It was soft and tender. So much better than the cardboard GF pizzas in the US. Thank you!
Small place in the center of Thunder Bay where you can both take away and eat at one of the very few tables available.
It offers a wide choice of wraps (piadine) and vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Almost the entire menu is also available gluten free.
There are also many smoothies.. there are some for all tastes even if not much to my liking.
If you can, make a reservation, because at certain times it is very crowded.
We rented Café Ora’s space for a poetry writing workshop, and we were delighted with everything!
The food (not all pictured) and drinks were amazing! On top of having a variety of foods served in the charcuterie set, there were options available for people who don’t eat meat, gluten, dairy, or nuts.
The service was also great, and communications were on par! We didn’t have to worry about the potential of the venue being double booked or staff forgetting about our booking. We were reassured, and we did not experience problems at all as they were very helpful!
The atmosphere of the coffeeshop was also just perfect for the poetry writing workshop. What we really liked about the place is the care and attention to details. With the holiday season around, there were so much decorations in the coffeeshop that created a welcoming and positive mood! Even the pillowcases of their seat pillows were changed to correspond with the colours of the decorations!
Overall, we were very pleased with Café Ora. The participants of our poetry writing workshop said they liked the venue, and they would definitely go back there again so they could get coffee and chill out in their cozy space!
Extremely friendly staff surprising amount of options that cater to all palettes, including many vegan and gluten free options. But the taste is exquisite, love love love this place. Please come to Edmonton
The service was great and the food delicious. Ryan made a special effort to make sure our meal was perfect. And for anyone who is gluten-free: the dulce de leche carmel cheesecake is to die for! Highly recommended.
Love New York Fries! As someone with celiac I appreciate their fries are gluten free with no chance for cross contamination, since thats all they cook in the fryers. Bonus that their gravy is also gluten free. I'm a regular there 😊
Kodie was our server and he was unreal! I have celiac disease and he took the extra time to make sure that my meal was safe to eat with the kitchen (salmon), and I felt confident in this. He also had a great energy, was super friendly and attentive. Great experience! I’ll be coming back for sure.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very delicious and tasty and fresh. I have gluten allergies and they have a variety of items to choose from or can adjust a dish for you.
This is a regular stop for us. We enjoy it every time.
My one gripe/suggestion is that the menu has not changed and I end up eating the same thing every time.
I wish Seler would change their menu at least seasonally and offer up some specials.
I eat gluten free and they are great to accommodate allergies and food intolerances, but the menu is so limited that I end up eating the same couple of dishes each time.
With such a limited population to cater to, having a limited menu makes loyal foodies like me go to other restaurants to get some variety. Even the dessert menu hasn't changed. I mean, I like creme brule as much as anyone, but at least change the flavour weekly for a bit of variety. Variety is the spice of life and in that regard, Seler is becoming a bit boring.
I wouldn't even bother with other restaurants if Seler had a more diverse menu. They really are that good.
