Delicious celiac safe establishment with world class baked goods and crepes. Their almond and chocolate croissants are fantastic! The crepes were devine. The owners were present, extremely friendly and confirmed their food was celiac safe. I was diagnosed with celiac 8 months ago. In my prior life, an almond croissant with morning coffee was a favorite. This was my first gluten free croissant and it was the best one I’ve ever had…better than I remember. Please visit this cafe and enjoy everything on their menu. Bon appetite!

Wider selection of gluten free backed goods than I've seen elsewhere. Delicious croissants and deserts hold up to comparison with their gluten counterparts. The maple éclair was amazing.

I have never seen such an extensive menu for vegetarians and gluten-free people. This is definitely a place to consider for a group meal with lots of dietary restrictions. Plus it was very good and at fair prices. The quantities were correct, I have already had larger plates of pasta... But a great restaurant that I recommend.

I don't know if it was me who was unlucky, but my partner wanted to surprise me as a person with severe gluten and lactose intolerance. We went to l'assom, he ordered a small regular poutine for him and a small gluten-free and lactose-free poutine for me with a gluten-free pogo. Accuracy was requested at the checkout when ordering, precautions were taken, people went behind in the second kitchen, the bag was identified as gluten-free and lactose-free. Unfortunately, during the night and the next day, I spent face to face with my toilet. After reading the comments and reviews, I wonder if it's just me who was unlucky or just that they got the two types of poutine wrong.

Amazing celiac restaurant. My mom has celiac and is very sensitive but she had 0 reaction. There is parking on the street that is better than most small places and the seating area is great, too. 10/10 will be going again.

This place is now 100 percent gluten free. I confirmed Celiac safe with the server. No gluten in entire restaurant and they are cautious with product sources. To top it all off, they make their own honey on their rooftop. My husband and I were so excited to discover this lovely restaurant. The staff is also amazing. Support this restaurant, we need places like this to stay open and thrive. Mahalo and Merci Bistro Hortus!

We LOVE going to Julio Taqueria!!! Since discovering this restaurant, I go there every time I'm in Quebec 😃 I've been there 6 times since I discovered them in summer 2023. The food is EXCELLENT (the churros 🤤🫠) the servers always super friendly and in the evening it’s teeming with people with a great atmosphere! If you like Mexican food, you will not be disappointed! (Of course, 100% gluten-free but even if you are not intolerant, it’s worth the trip!!!)
