Had a fabulous dinner after a long day of sightseeing. We chose this restaurant as one of our party is celiac and the menu had plenty of options. Everything was delicious, the staff were fun and friendly. Could not fault it at all.
The good thing is that they can make almost everything gluten-free; I had a baguette that was tasty. I found it overpriced—a small orange juice was €5 or €6, and the pancakes were €10 without fruit and €15 with fruit, which seems a bit much. The waitstaff are very friendly, though they sometimes try a bit too hard, which can feel uncomfortable (especially as a woman), with strange compliments. At least we did get free water.
Went here on a Friday night. They stay open and serve food til late which is super convenient if you’re travelling. We had pizza, including a gluten free pizza which was good. Good atmosphere, and there are some TVs too to watch sport.
Its 10:26pm we asked for the dessert menu a good 20-30 minutes ago we are yet to receive said menu and they a range of gluten free options yet when we got the two pizzas one being normal it took them another 10 minutes to reply to my question of which one was free of the gluten
Restaurant of very poor quality in the dishes served. Very dirty kitchen, the cook was smoking in the kitchen, the pans had a crust of dirt attached. There were insects walking on the coffee counter. Frozen lasagne found inside in a piece of plastic. Cakes served bought at the supermarket. No attention to people with celiac disease, they remained without eating. I highly recommend this place.
La Fata Ignorante is a solid rooftop restaurant base in the IQ. hotel, offering gluten-free pasta and bread, which is a big plus for those with celiac or diet needs. We started with the antipasto platter—perfect for sharing among four, with a nice variety of cheeses and cured meats. We tried three different pastas; all were good, though surprisingly lacking in pepper, which is unusual for Rome. The food had great flavor overall, and prices were reasonable. Service was a bit slow, and while it’s a rooftop spot, don’t expect standout views. Still, a good option for a relaxed evening with gluten-free choices.
A great place, very family-friendly.
All the pasta options are gluten-free except for the lasagna.
I ordered cacio e pepe pasta, which was delicious, but too peppery for my taste (I understand that's what the sauce is).
We also ordered a gluten-free pizza, and it was delicious, just average.
