Just rate the service. We asked for gluten free food and the hostess was rude about it, then just walked away and didn't offer us any table. It felt terrible from a customer service standpoint. We just decided to leave.
I only value the service. We asked about gluten free food and the hostess was a little rude with her answer, and just left and didn't offer us a table. It felt terrible from a customer service standpoint. We decided to just leave and find another place.

My sister and I always come for carnival or Halloween since I live outside, when I come to visit her, it's our fixed stop in Venice, a certainty. the staff super nice and always available for everything. Gluten free, excellent like everything else 😍
We were traveling around Venice as tourists, with a celiac friend, we came across this place that had a sign specifying that they had gluten free dishes on the menu. Located in a street very close to Piazza San Marco. We had a very good dinner. Good value for money and very friendly and helpful service. Satisfied!!! I highly recommend it.
With so many restaurants to choose from, we returned the same day for dinner, I regret discovering this place so late. Pizza and pasta with a gluten-free offer, easily excluding other food intolerances. I wholeheartedly recommend it
This place is a gem! Gary was fabulous and very attentive, friendly and relaxed very patient with us as we had just gotton engaged and were very excited making calls . The lady at the door was exceptionally welcoming and joined in with our celebrations ! food was beautiful and one of us is Gluten free with lots of options too. lovely ambience would highly recommend here! 👌
bruschetta is interesting and quite filling however the ravioli pasta is overpriced and very bland. Pizza looked good. service good, nice atmosphere.
Gluten free pasta and starter available
The owner was really sweet and accomadating, even accomadating for my celiac disease. The atmosphere was very cosy and warm, feeling small and homy. The service was great, being very kind and accepting. The food tasted amazing along with it being very cheap and allowing no service fees or travel fees for students. Overall an amazing find in Venice and a great place to have lunch or dinner
This was by far our favorite restaurant in Venice! We ended up going back a second night because the food was great, the staff were super friendly, and they had a selection of gluten free options to choose from. The panna cotta was SO good!! Highly recommend!
A typical Venetian restaurant offering the usual menu selection .
The reason we stopped at this one was they offer gluten free pasta on most of the dishes.
The food was tasty but not memorable.
There was a lot of upselling going on by the waiters but I can’t blame them, it’s a tough world out there at the moment.
Great gluten free pasta options. The waiter was knowledgeable and even brought out some gluten free bread for me to dip into oil and balsamic which was lovely as I didn’t feel left out from the rest of the table.
Good quality, fast and very kind service, medium-low prices. Being a stone's throw from Rialto it is not touristy or commercial. You can only eat standing up.
Gluten-free options available.
Advised!
I loved this place! Warm and welcoming environment and very kind staff, they immediately recommended some really good wines which we accompanied with Ascoli olives and they even brought me some cod cicchetti with gluten-free bread that I never expected: they were truly amazing!
We had a fantastic experience at La Caravelle! The wait staff were extremely attentive and personable, especially Massimo who suggested great wine pairings and recommendations on dishes.
The kitchen accommodated my wife who’s celiac by cooking her gluten free pasta made to order, on the spot; which was great!
The food was all sensational from appetizers to main courses. This was the highlight of our entire Italian trip!
Good food and nice service. They indicate with numbers all the allergens for every dish. Very nice if you need to eat glutenfree or have any other allergies/intolerances.
Beautiful area. Charming. We took the shellfish and fish platter for 2 to 39€ each. A treat and well stocked. With a mini plate of grilled vegetables. Expensive €8 for not much but cooked and seasoned properly. Delicious red fruit panacotta. Homemade. No gluten-free bread (not much else). Very pleasant service....I recommend
A wonderful surprise and discovery!
I didn't know this place, an extremely inclusive place not far from San Marco.
They have a separate totally vegan menu, and several gluten-free options.
The staff is very kind, and above all competent in matters of intolerances.
We ate a lasagna with radicchio and mushrooms (really creamy and tasty), goulash and a tasting of vegan cheeses and cured meats.
Enjoy the chef's entree and the gluten-free bread basket served hot.
The portions are not abundant and the price is not particularly low, but I think it is the right price for the research and direction of inclusiveness undertaken by the owners.
Finding a restaurant in the heart of Venice where intolerances are not a limit is truly beautiful.
I hope there will also be such inclusive bacari and cicchetterie in the future.
Really recommended!
Modest poke, excellent value for money, €13 for a large poke in the center of Venice is a bargain.
Friendly and fast service, as far as possible (there was only one guy who had to handle 10 customers).
Mediocre location, but it is a place designed for takeaway.
Features multiple gluten-free options.
We were very happy with the food and the service was also good. Priced okay too. Would come again! I had Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia, which was gluten-free (hence as penne).
We have a good experience with the place.
There were 6 of us in total, we had room. Most of us ate pizza, they were very tasty.
It was possible to request gluten-free pasta, which is a positive. The rest of my group said the noodles were also delicious.
