Our first trip to Nancy’s Cafe. Fresh snow up the hill meant the restaurant was packed with ski goers. Even though the place was packed we only waited 5 minutes for a table, the servers were all upbeat and took our order in a timely manner. Our food came out quick and warm. My “breakfast mess” was more food then I realized but every bite was delicious. We will definitely be back! Try the house hot sauce if you like a little heat I’m not vegan but they did have a handful of vegan and gluten free options the table next to us ordered vegan items and those plates looked really good. .

Finally, I can go out and eat breakfast again!! Having celiac and egg intolerance, I gave up on enjoying breakfast out with my hubby (one of our favorite things). That is until I discovered all the options at Katrina's. Gluten Free homemade lemon, blueberry, white chocolate muffins (omg to die for!), GF toast, real potatoes (not hash browns that often include gluten) and even tofu instead of egg in any scramble. The tofu in substitute for eggs is seamless and you won't miss the egg at all. Restaurant was clean and bright. Service was fantastic, A+!! Can't wait to try them for lunch sometime.

If you've been to one black bear diner you've been to them all. Their iconic wooden bear sculptures and cabin-like interior are always a favorite. My parents joined my husband and our one year old for lunch although my mom ordered a breakfast meal, a something volcano with three stacked pancakes topped with scrambled eggs! It looked delicious. My husband, whose gluteen intolerant, got a scramBOWL and requested no gravy and biscuits on the side. He said it was good but that the sausage included likely had some gluten as he felt funny the rest of the day. Technically the only thing labeled "gluten free" on the menu were the salads which is a shame. I got the Parm sourdough cheeseburger and it was so good I ate the whole thing. My dad got the tuna melt sandwich and opted for a side salad. For our daughter we got the kids pizza and fruit but they also gave us fries so that was kinda nice. All in all it was a nice lunch meet. Our server was friendly and attentive, the food came quickish. If there were more gluten free options/substitutions for my husband we'd likely eat there much more often!

Expect a bit of a wait, but it's worth it for the top-notch sourdough crust pizza, rotating menu options, and a solid selection of beer and wine.

This place has the best pizza in the area. The sourdough crust is great (they have gluten free options too) and they have rotating menu options that are delicious. We especially like the garlic bread. They also have a good selection of beer and wine.
