The food was amazing! As a party with people needing both gluten free and vegan options, there were so many options for everyone to choose from! The staff were kind and welcoming and the fresh flowers were a fun touch.
We love Sol Food! Definitely a family favorite for us and our toddlers. We get the oregano chicken with pink beans w/ either garlic plantains or French fries. Sooooo delicious!! Safe for gluten free. And don’t get me started on how amazing the hot sauce (pique) is!
The lovely waitress took my Celiac needs extremely seriously. My stomach truly thanks you for that.
Great food - my fiancé has been coming here for years and raves about it.
Wow... Gluten free pizza dough deserves 5 stars... Tasty & perfect texture in my opinion.
Even though I'm not gluten intolerant... I will have this one. 😁
Update: I still go to eggspresso often and recently I found out that they offer gluten free toast. I got their BLT on the gluten free toast and I enjoyed it!!
From before: We have been eating at Eggspresso regularly for the last few months. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is delicious. Some of our favorites are the veggie skillet, Eggspresso Benedict and the almond croissant. It feels like a family diner. And the coffee is excellent (Avid). I highly recommend it especially if you live in Petaluma on the east side. I usually dine in downtown Petaluma, and it’s so nice to have an excellent breakfast option so close to me. They also carry lunch options, but I haven’t tried any yet.
Really cool vibe and design inside with fresh delicious food. We had a beautiful view of the river to sip our cocktails. My girlfriend is gluten free and she appreciated the clear markings on the menu for the GF options. We definitely will go back.
Food okay. Gluten free items. Bbq sauce was tasty. Very pricey. So many choices in their deli. Got a two pound container of potato salad...22.00. Then meat plates to go with it. No seats inside. Just outside.
Great food and service! Everything is made from scratch and delicious. Being gluten free and allergic to dairy, it can be hard to find places to eat when traveling. We found this restaurant at ate here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both were excellent, they were able to accommodate my needs. They even had gluten-free bread for toast with my breakfast.
My favorite sushi restaurant is temporarily closed, so we went to Sake 107. I would say we have a new favorite. Incredible. The service was great. The sushi chef was amazing and even came out from behind the counter to hold the door for us when we were leaving. The seafood salad was killer! The nigiri was amazing. The rolls were awesome too. They took good care of my child with Celiac.
Having a really great breakfast. Great service, great atmosphere and very tasty food. Thank you very much, we had a great stay with you. My friends were happy that you also offer gluten-free bread, and you are highly recommended, especially to tourists like me.
Very nice people who let a meetup group of us meet there every Friday and every other Saturday to play boardgames. Many times they let us stay late to finish our long games. They have gluten-free pizzas, which are a life-saver for me. And the pizzas are delicious.
They opened a little later than we expected at 11:30am. The restaurant is new and clean. Their prices are fair, have gluten free soy sauce and their food was excellent.
Nearly everything we had was excellent. Great options for vegan, gluten-free, and meat-eaters. The only thing that was just ok was the stuffed calamari; the pork chop, vegan gnocchi, bread and olives, cheeseburger, soup, etc were all great. Service was also very good even though we were alone on the patio (because we brought our dog, who they had water for). Staff were helpful with food allergies and other restrictions. We were only in town for a few days and ate here twice! Such a great option. Cocktails were lovely too, and they have many non-alcoholic options as well. Oh, and the vegan rose Panna Cotta was an absolute joy.
The cafe caters to gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. I had the corned beef hash that was prepared in chunks and deconstructed. It was DELISH! The orange juice was fresh and deliciously divine. Oh and it was hailing that day! Total shocker!
Old Chicago Pizza located in the heart of historic downtown Petaluma is a family-friendly pizza shop. Famous for their different choices of crust and deep dish pizzas, this building is located on the second story of Lanmart Building. They also have a second location in Petaluma which is their take out and delivery service. This is in the Wilco Shopping Center. I compliment how fast they answer their phone there.
As for the sit down and dine in restaurant, they have old fashioned brick and peach colored walls. They even have chandeliers! I liked their decor for sure.
Ever since Covid the restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays other than their delivery service.
The afternoon I had come in my guest and I were seated right next to the window. How lucky we were to be able to watch the nice view of people walking and cars going by! The waitress we had received was very nice. She had an upbeat personality and had taken care of us very well. I hope all your employees are like this.
They first start you off with sourdough bread and butter on the side. My guest and I ordered the cheesy garlic bread as the appetizer. Then we picked our own four selection of toppings which was mushrooms, olives, pepperoni, and sausage on a deep dish pizza. I love how filling even one slice can be! My guest and I only had one slice each and saved the rest for the next couple of days.
Although they are well known for their delicious deep dish crust pizza, they do have options of thin crust, double crust, and even gluten free crust that you can choose from! There seems to be vegetarian options as well as they do have garlic bread and salads and of course pizza with vegetable toppings. They also have dessert, one that’s a gluten free option. They have alcoholic beverages from options of beer to red and white wine. They do have a bar there if you’re just feeling like drinks and not the whole dine in experience.
The parking lot that’s right next to the Lanmart Building used to be the Cosmopolitan Hotel in the 1800s. The parking lot itself was apart of a scene of the American movie, “American Graffiti.” This is where you can find one of the parking lots to settle in while you have your meal. There’s a second parking lot right next to this one. They are both 2 hour maximum time parking spots. Although the restaurant is on the second floor and you have to get up there through stairs there is an elevator for the wheelchair accessibility folks.
To the beautiful people of Sonoma county and visitors abroad, I recommend trying this place out! With the historic building and the friendly employees you have found yourself a good pizza place!
An experience here is like stepping back in time to a menu, which has only gotten better with time...particularly since they make their famous chicken gluten-free.
Simmer never disappoints me. I’ve discovered the delicious pork meatballs and they’re my new favorite. I’m a gluten-free eater and this is the one place I can eat the noodles! Always a friendly staff.
Service was a little slow on a busy Sunday morning, but not too bad. I had the chorizo Benedict and despite being a bit messy on the plate, it honestly was the best/most flavorful chorizo I've ever eaten. Eggs were poached correctly and the hollandaise was properly emulsified. Good gluten free options and our server was nice. Pretty standard American/Mexican breakfast fare, but done very well.
This was a fantastic find.
Is it the fanciest with bells and whistles? No. But that's what makes it a quaint, quiet place to enjoy some really good food with amazingly friendly service.
I ordered a variety of rolls, sashimi and nigiri (a lot of food) The fish was fresh and delicious. Good portions too. AND they have gluten free tamari and also helpful with making sure my choices were gluten free.
But the service is what put Fuji on my "eat here again when I'm in town" list.
Other patrons that were dining or waiting for take out, like me, were obviously regulars who enjoy the service and food as much as I did.
I was sorry that I couldn't stay and dine in... Next time!
Charming Italian restaurant in downtown Petaluma. Gluten-free options, including pasta. Had a bruschetta appetizer that was excellent, wild boar gnocchi for my entrée, and a somewhat disappointing dessert. Excellent service as well. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
The cauliflower crust here is the best I've ever had. It is so tasty I don't mind at all that its the healthier option. This is the first pizza place where I don't feel like I'm missing out because I can't eat gluten.
