Busiest restaurant in town, plus its own in-house bakery. Indoor and outside seating (outside is dog-friendly). Plenty of gluten-free options, a whole variety of burgers. Recommend the bison burger and the twisty-cheese braid. Don't forget to shop at their indoor shop.
This was some of the best pizza! So good! Their gluten free pizza was 10/10. The crust was one of the best I have ever had. It was great having a gluten free option. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good pizza place in Buena Vista!
Place is on point! We're a band, HeartByrne, on tour, and checked this place out to be pleasantly surprised how delicious everything was! The eggs were cooked perfectly, which yea, you would think is easy to do, but believe me, we're on the road and we eat at a lot of places and often they're too runny, too hard, cold, etc. The smash browns, their version of hash browns, were delicious! The bacon was on point, which again is hit or miss at a lot of places, overcooked, undercooked, chewy, thin, etc, but not here, fantastic! They provide real butter for the bread, another thing that is often missed with many restaurants using vegetable oil butter, which I'm guessing is cheaper to provide? Finally, the pastries! The donut holes are amazing! They're gluten free, which is a nice perk but not even worth mentioning because their as good as any gluten donut hole I've had. The texture is lovely and the taste is wonderful with the perfect amount of sweetness. Grateful for gems like these, especially for a band on the road that relies on places like these for fuel / nourishment. Thank you!
This place is so yummy! Their food and smoothies are soooo good. They have tons of gluten free and vegan options and their staff is always super friendly.
Great local vibe bar with the better rooftop bar, The Crow's Nest (great place to rent out for a reception) because it has its own bar and a retractable roof. Great views of the mountains and Main Street. Main floor has inside and an outside terrace seating (outside is furbaby friendly). Bartenders have strong pours; kitchen has a separate gluten-free prep and deep fryer areas. Love the loaded tots, the pulled pork and chicken, the breaded/fried green beans, and the sweet potato fries. Yes, it is a great place after a day of hiking or rafting the white water!
This place definitely had Gluten Free options. Flourless Chocolate Torte. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread, rice crispy treats and a muffin option. We got the pumpkin bread it was delicious.
I'll give this place 4 stars for the view and the helpful staff. This place is really better for rafters who have just finished and are looking for a quick bite, rather than a group looking for a night on the town. There is live music there on occasion though! The restaurant is located in the River Runner campus. There's plenty of parking. The have decent sandwich-ish options for a somewhat reasonable price. I am not a fan of the chips and salsa (the salsa was a bit watery) or the queso (it was more like the nacho cheese from a can). The Banh mi was pretty good, as were the elk sausages. Both of these sandwiches came with chips. The kids liked the burgers, which were served with home fries and veggies. I wish they had that option for all the sandwiches! They did have some gluten free options, which was nice.
Such a great spot! Quality food, gluten-free options, and it had a great decorative unique touch, due to the café being in a refurbished car garage shop. Everyone was friendly and the food was fabulous.
Service was great! Jennifer was our server and she was the sweetest. Delighted when she told us there was gluten free toast. We were on our way from Fairplay to Alamosa, and the food was great fuel for hitting the road again!
Delicious and quick spot to eat with huge portions and plenty of options, even TWO gluten free bread options! Very friendly and fast service. While there isn't a whole lot of seating, no one had to wait for a table, even the big parties :). Awesome stop.
They have a variety of dogs for any appetite, they went out of their way to make sure my wife who is gluten free was taken care of, owner is very Personable, and engages in conversation with customers while preparing your dogs, overall a 5 star experience, and our dogs where 5 star as well !
Tacos were tasty, and decent size. They were gluten free as well, a plus for my GF with celiac disease. They even made a note to change their gloves while making hers which was comforting for her. I dont know about the one review I read about 'taco bell tacos'.. they were much better/ hand made, and obviously better tacos come with a higher price. If I was in town I would def eat their for some quick Mexican cravings!
