Really delicious burger meet. My hubby got the smothered burger and he loved it. The atmosphere is so cute. I loved the whole vibe of the restaurant. They had a gluten free bun for the burgers, gluten free pizza dough, and a gluten free peanut butter cookie.
Food was really good! We had the gluten free Alfredo with chicken. Delicious! Service was great too. Can't wait to go back and try their gluten free pizza.
We were invited to dinner with a couple who identify as vegan and we do not. This is a quite small restaurant but very good. The staff is friendly and the menu is easily adaptable to vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or carnivores. Every menu item has a description of the main ingredients and options for different dietary needs. LOVED it!
The first time I came here, the experience was great. Unfortunately, the second visit was a completely different story. While the food was good, the overall experience was disappointing. Their menu is incredibly confusing when it comes to gluten-free (GF) options. Many items are labeled “GF,” but what they actually mean is “GFO” (gluten-free option). Typically, when a menu item is marked “GF,” it indicates that it’s already gluten-free. However, there’s a legend at the bottom of the menu explaining that you need to request the item to be made gluten-free. To make matters worse, some items that are gluten-free are also labeled “GF,” making it even more unclear.
I had to ask for all my food to be remade, which I felt bad about, but the server didn’t warn me that everything would be upcharged to make it gluten-free. In the end, I spent nearly $40 for two California rolls—the most I’ve ever paid for basic rolls.
If you have dietary restrictions, be warned: the menu is poorly designed and doesn’t align with standard labeling practices for GF items. A note to the owner: items that can be made gluten-free should be marked “GFO.” Otherwise, you’re likely causing confusion and, worse, health issues for your customers. To top it all off, the server was incredibly unkind about the entire situation. :/ sending food back makes me feel like the worst person on the planet. I am usually really careful to order things correctly with my sensitivity to not cause issues. This menu makes that super hard.
Came in with a big party that couldn't really fit in one table but they made it work. Food was excellent and our server offered great suggestions when ordering for the kiddos. Wife and I shared the Mesa Verde Enchiladas with carnitas and a couple beef tamales. Would have loved to have tried some of the soup on offer or the chorizo beans, but I just couldn't convince myself we needed 16oz of them 😂. They were cool with my celiac niece bringing her own meal as well
Ziggi's is a chain, but this particular Ziggi's feels like one of the locally owned restaurants. The service is always top notch, any everyone who works there is always incredibly sweet. Having somewhere people can grab a quick coffee or a bite to eat in the mornings is wonderful.
The breakfast burritos are wonderful and taste almost homemade. The different varieties of breads are something a lot of other places in town don't offer, and having the Gluten Free options makes them one of my go-to stops. Obviously the drinks are the real stars of the show. The sheer variety and ability to customize, especially on the app, is amazing. I am a sucker for a place I can earn rewards for and it's easy to do at Ziggi's.
My one and only complaint is that their entrance/exit is too narrow for many vehicles to fit two-wide, so if you're trying to exit while another car is trying to enter, it can get a little... awkward.
