I have recently been diagnosed with Celiac. This means I cannot have gluten.
As you'd imagine when traveling through the less populated parts of NM, it can be really hard to find safe options for me to eat.
Passion Pie made my girlfriend and I the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had using gluten free waffles.
And their service was extremely friendly and fast.
Also, they were no more expensive than McDonalds (a place I can't even eat at anymore.) If you are in ToR, you need to go eat here.
We as a family eat here almost weekly. My 2 year old son was diagnosed with celiac and being gluten free is hard enough let alone with a 2 year old. Their cauliflower crust is amazing for him. And we always have leftovers for him for lunch the next day!!!!
Love the staff, the patio, and the food is *incredible.* They have gluten free and vegan options that make you wonder out loud how they made it that well. It's also dog friendly. We will definitely be back
I had a great experience here. Called ahead to see about gluten-free options and they confirmed that the red chile sauce had no flour so we headed in. The server (who I think was an owner or manager?) was great and brought me an actual gluten-free menu with plenty of options. I had a cheese enchilada and really good pork tamale. The salsa was delightfully garlicky and I would have bought a jar to take home if I'd remembered to ask. Our service was very good, and the food came pretty quickly. The food was great, and a warning to out-of-state visitors - the red chile was pretty hot (which I liked). I was glad to discover this place, and my only criticism would be that the seats in the booth need cushions!
We had a wonderful lunch here. Even as a vegetarian and gluten free, I was able to find yummy options here. (Cheese tots, yumm!) Love the vibe - well lit bowling alley is something I’ve never seen and I feel much more comfortable here than dingy, divey, dark light establishments. Thank you, T or C Brewing!!
The servers at El Faro are excellent and the young lady who was my server that day was quick to provide creative options for me based on my vegetarian and gluten free diet.
