First time having a crepe and it certainly did not disappoint! I came here for the gluten free options and enjoyed a savory smoked salmon crepe. The combination of flavors was a beautiful contrast on my palate. I would only recommend ordering extra meat on any crepe as the standard amount provided is not enough.

Ke the lead server was excellent. Thorough knowledge of what is gluten free (seemed like most of the menu), and even brought out the miso soup base to check some ingredients with me.
Great attention to detail. Lunch prices very reasonable. Food was excellent. Overall great. Perfect service. High integrity place.
Excellent dim sum place right off the main drag, I much prefer it to anywhere in Manhattan or even Sunset Park. We got pan fried noodles with pork, pan fried pork buns, soup dumplings (regular and with squash), turnip cakes, fried bean gluten, and shrimp dumplings. Everything was excellent, service fast, great prices. Two people stuffed themselves and got enough leftovers for an additional meal for like $60. Particularly impressed with the noodles, and the shrimp dumplings, chock-full of big hearty chunks of shrimp cooked just right. Don’t over-order like we did but do go.
Worth the hype 🙌 and 800 miles 😆
The duck feast was insane. The pairing of caviar atop the perfect crisp skin rolled in a bit of sugar 🩶🧡🩶🧡🩶🧡🩶🧡🩶
The fun of wrapping a perfect duck crepe 😂 not your usual duck bun 片皮鸭
And the duck bone soup with bok choy just so comforting.
关二爷mashed potato is an acquired taste with sesame paste as gravy. But couldn’t pass the photo op 🥳
四喜烤麸braised gluten was way too sweet
Almond tofu custard peach 🍑 is a must
The honey yogurt was quite sweet and Greek yogurt like ….sooo smooth
And of course who can pass up the Chinese chess board.
Who ate the general?
Need to bring reinforcement to try more dishes next time.
***First floor in Tangram mall in flushing. Best to reserve time for meal or get there at opening 11:30am.
Love this place. Not only do they make great iced and hot drinks, but their desserts are so good. It’s difficult to get really good gluten-free sweets without sacrificing either texture or taste but they have cracked the code. Whether in-store or getting delivery, your order is delish and quick.
The food here is, of course, fantastic -- but I'd like to highlight the extensive gluten free selection. The majority of their dishes are gluten free, and all dishes containing allergens such as gluten, eggs, or nuts are clearly labeled. As they say on their menu, they also use gluten free soy sauce in their dishes. They also have a very extensive vegetarian section of their menu, which also includes many gluten free options. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Thank you for adding back the small package gluten free soy sauce! We had good experience with Spring shabushabu as always. The food and service are excellent. Also the restaurant is super clean. The only request would be is to have one or two choices of the gluten free soup base. I know the Spring in flushing has one gluten free soup base (mushroom veg) but at the Westbury location, no gluten free soup base and we had to use hot water as the soup. All vegetables, tofu, meets, seafoods, etc are gluten free, so I feel if you can provide a gluten free soup base would be great for people who has gluten allergy/celiac.
Mario’s has become our go to local place for pizza. Quality is top notch (both normal and gluten-free fare), prices are reasonable and the staff is very accommodating.
I've been to this HDL location a few times by now and always enjoyed it, but I wanted to leave a review because of the exceptional service we got last night! My friend is allergic to gluten, but we've eaten at Haidilao before and she usually gets the tomato broth. When we told our server (I think his name is Jiahao?), he told us he would double check to make sure the tomato flavor was actually gluten-free since the formulas change from time to time, and he was also concerned about cross contamination. When he found out the tomato was no longer gluten-free, he suggested a few options, and ended up getting my friend the tonkotsu with a small alteration to make it gluten-free. He even made her a dipping sauce since he wanted to ensure it was gluten-free, and the staff also brought out gluten-free soy sauce for my friend to use.
I'm so grateful for the extra considerations for my friend's allergy! Even though the restaurant was extremely busy (Saturday night), the service was still excellent. Haidilao remains one of the few places my friend and I can safely eat together in Flushing~
already planning my next trip! thanks so much again and a big shoutout to Jiahao <3
It was the only place in the area where I found help with the gluten issue. It's a little pricey, but being an "All Yuo Can Eat", it's good for eaters.
With proper care, I had no cross-contamination problems.

An unassuming little shop with food that'll blow you away. I stopped by a couple weeks ago and got the regular corn dog and spicy soy garlic chicken sandwich, and while both were incredible I can't stop thinking about the chicken sandwich!
Service was fantastic, and I had asked about allergy information (my friend has Celiac and I wanted to find somewhere with gluten free corn dogs and donuts) and the man at the register was very helpful in figuring out what flour they use. Unfortunately it's not gluten free (they use wheat flour along with the rice flour) but I'll still keep coming myself!
We ordered delivery for a New Year’s Eve feast, and each dim sum delicacy was just right! Custard tarts with flaky layers and not-too-sweet, not—too-eggy filling, flavorful crispy sesame balls, moist and generously filled roast pork buns, yummy seafood and veggie dumplings too. Everything was generously filled- not too gluten-y and flavorful, making each bite just right. Also relatively affordable and great customer service- our delivery came a long way- and made it here early, AND everything looked lovely. We hope to someday go in person! Thanks Dim Sum Garden!
A little place in the middle of so many restaurants and yet.... I'm really happy to have ended up here. Vietnamese cuisine on the entire menu. Pork, beef, spaghetti, vegetables, rolls, soups and BBQ. Lots of choice and menu with beautiful photos... so you won't be disappointed. They bring you a nice, rich and tasty dish. I had a BBQ pork. A large bowl that served as a main dish because there were rice noodles, vegetables, pork and various condiments. Maybe it was because I was hungry but I really ate with gusto. Prices are very low: we are around $10-13 each. If you add something special to drink (water is free) you get a maximum of $15 per person.
In short, you eat well, a lot and spend little.
For gluten-free I can say that there are several suitable dishes, including the one I took.
Obviously there is a risk of contamination because the ingredients are not listed on the menu.
I ordered the jumbo shrimp with broccoli and a jumbo shrimp with steamed veggies (add my own gluten free sauce) . They were both great, with a big variety of fresh veggies perfectly cooked! Delicious, 😋
This experience was particularly good, 80 points. In particular, cauliflower is too salty and beef tendon is extremely hard, but grilled gluten, squid tentacles, kelp knots, eggplant, rice cakes, and enoki mushrooms are extremely delicious.
Thank you so much! Just ordered from DoorDash and you guys wrote the best note! I’m gluten free and this made my night!!! Thank you!!! And it was sooooo yummy thank you
First time trying pupusas & I really enjoyed them! Friendly service & appreciated that the food was freshly prepared. Also a great spot for gluten free folks — lots of options!
We very much enjoyed our meals: ox-bone noodle soup with beef and stone-bowl oysters, veggies & rice (very flavorful!). Delicious side dishes, especially the kimchi and squash. Cozy atmosphere. Kind service. Many gluten-free options. Will visit again!
Liu Yi Shou AYCE Hotpot continues to impress me every single time I visit and trust me, I’ve been here more times than I can count. Even though I didn’t get any photos this round (the food distracted me in the best way possible), the experience was unforgettable. And yes, I’ll absolutely be back with my camera ready next time.
Their soup bases alone are worth the trip. The Wild Mushroom Soup Base has leveled up in flavour it’s packed with earthy depth and now includes cordyceps and red dates, which not only add to the richness but are also amazing for your health. The Tomato Soup Base is tangy and comforting, while the Braised Duck with Pickled Radish is savory and unique, with a slight tartness that balances the richness of the broth. But the real showstopper for me is the Pork Stomach with Chicken Soup Base warming, hearty, and deeply flavorful. Each one is crafted with care and makes every ingredient shine.
Speaking of ingredients the selection is honestly overwhelming in the best way. From fatty beef, lamb, pork belly, beef tongue, and ox tongue to more adventurous offerings like spam, pork brain, duck feet, pork kidney, and Japanese fish cake there’s no shortage of variety. Their seafood spread includes shrimp, arctic clam, mussel, sole fish, cuttlefish, and a full line of meatballs (beef, pork, cuttlefish, and fish) that soak up flavor beautifully.
Vegetarians and veggie lovers will be happy too. They offer tofu in every form imaginable silken tofu, frozen tofu, tofu skin, bean curd, and fried gluten balls. There’s also lettuce, cabbage, radish, potato, and corn all great for soaking up the broth and adding some fresh balance to the meal. And if you’re a carb-lover, don’t worry they’ve got all kinds of noodles to finish off your hotpot feast just right.
The mushroom selection is also no joke: enoki, oyster, king oyster, shiitake, and black fungus all bring different textures and earthy notes that elevate every bite.
Don’t skip the braised dishes at the hot bar either especially the pig feet, lotus root, and quail eggs. They’re rich, flavorful, and absolutely comforting. And let’s not forget the sauce bar gorgeous, clean, and stocked with everything you need to make your dream dipping sauce.
The cherry on top? They’re open late, which makes this spot perfect for a spontaneous dinner or a satisfying late-night craving.
Liu Yi Shou is consistently delicious, offers an incredible selection, and somehow keeps improving with every visit. Highly, highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back soon (with pictures to do it justice next time)!
Atmosphere 5/5.
Service 5/5
Broth flavor amazing. Not a big fan of spicy? Mushroom and tomato soup is amazing!!!
Deep fried glutenous balls and shrimp paste highly recommend.
This place was great! Went here with a friend who is vegan and a friend who is gluten free and they had plenty of options for everyone. Very accommodating for food allergies. Great staff. Would go back!
