An absolutely must stop for gluten-free individuals! They have a dedicated gluten-free fryer! But my husband and dad aren’t gluten-free and made happy plates! Our meals were amazing and the service is top notch! They have put a lot of attention into updating their dining room to make the atmosphere relaxing and hip. Definitely a must visit!
Very annoyed with them using uber eats. This is the second time our order has been completely wrong. If third party is not something you can handle, please do not contract with them. I ordered a gluten free salami sandwich and got some tuna-looking sandwich that smelled awful. Had to throw it out
Pizza is good. We like the gluten free options although the crust is a little chewy,
My issue is every single time we’ve ordered with uber eats, every single sauce and drink has been missing. Once we got someone else’s pizza with my name on it. This last time I messaged the driver to make sure they included the sauces and drinks, and while they finally did, the entire salad was missing ☠️. If they can’t handle 3rd party delivery agencies, don’t use them.
Our server was amazing, we explained we were celiac gluten-free. When the kitchen mistakenly put one of the items on toast, she had them remake the meal and let the manager know. The manager came over and apologized and adjusted the bill. The food was cooked perfectly and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
This is a taco infusion style restaurant. This means that the tacos are "fancy" even the regular tacos.
We started with drinks. Our waitress suggested an edit to my margarita that turned out to be splendid. I had the strawberry margarita with Casa Amigo Reposada and it was like a desert in a glass. (Almost to smooth so be careful)
We ordered the tacos 101 because we came in looking for regular tacos and they were delicious. Very flavorful.
We also ordered rice and beans on the side, which were not quite hot enough. Our server took them back and made it right. I do recommend that you ask foe your food HOT...
As for being careful with food, I have celiac and my server was able to make suggestions on how to order so that my food was safe.
On that note Our server was sweet, funny, sassy and attentive. She was delightful with her suggestions and her attitude was genuine.
My only complaint is that we cannot transport this server to every location that we visit
Kiera B was our server tonight and she was absolutely amazing. Very sweet and kind and took good care of the people in her sections. She also took really good care of my mom with severe celiacs. Anyone who asks to switch waitresses are missing out, she’s one of the best.

Taking a couple stars off because my order has been shorted the last two times. First I paid for extra chicken and received brown rice instead, but I didn’t make a big deal of it—mistakes happen. Tonight I paid extra for extra shrimp for my spicy mango shrimp and was shorted those as well. After driving 30 minutes home and realizing the mistake I called and was told I would have to bring my food back in to prove it had been shorted. Don’t pay $3 for shrimp or chicken—-you won’t get it.
Our favorite restaurant in the greater Greenville area! They make the BEST gluten free cuisine! Our favorites are General Tso Chicken, Spicy Mango Shrimp, and Pad Thai, but their gluten free menu is quite extensive and there are many dishes we have yet to try. I have celiacs and have never had a gluten reaction eating here in the two years we have been dining at this specific location. I’ve been eating here for 2 years and never had this issue until the past two weeks, the orders have always been correct.
Absolutely AWFUL. Drove 35 minutes to get a sub after a long day working in the yard and they had no gluten free bread thawed out. The woman was absolutely rude as all get out and refused to thaw it for me. She brought me a frozen piece of bread and said it was hard and frozen and there was nothing she could do for me. She was incredibly rude AND I drove all the way here for nothing. If you’re going to offer options for people with severe allergies, you should at least make sure you have them on hand and ready to be prepared. I have been buying subs here for years, spending my hard earned money and this is how they treat me. Never again.
Just left extremely furstrated and without my order. When we ordered the guy taking the order had to re-enter the order a second time due to a computer glitch. When he re-entered the order he did not add the request for a gluten-free bun. When they called the name for my order, the order wasn't finished and they did not have a gluten-free bun. The same guy who took my order began to make excuses.
The restuarant was filthy as no tables had been cleared for a long time. In fact there were more dirty tables than clean. After waiting another 10 minutes to get a corrected order, my wife and I just walked out. So while I am out $29.16, this Fuddruckers will never see another dollar from me. I suggest everyone stay away.
Cribb’s Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in Spartanburg. I have celiac disease, and I have never had a bad experience such as cross contamination. My husband loves their burgers and the kiddos love the pimento Mac and cheese. Awesome place for a date night or Sunday brunch!
Ali Baba is an absolute gem in the realm of Mediterranean cuisine in Spartanburg!
The gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options are plentiful and equally delicious. As someone with dietary restrictions, it's incredible to find a restaurant that goes above and beyond to accommodate. Ali Baba is the first Mediterranean restaurant that I’ve ever found that offers gluten-free pita bread! It was soft, warm, and seriously delicious! The falafel gyro and the hummus platter were fantastic!
We sat outside for dinner. The cute tables and umbrellas provided the perfect dining ambiance! The owner, Eric, even came outside to introduce himself and thank us for dining at Ali Baba!
Ali Baba has my highest recommendation. Whether you're a local or just passing through, pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed!
One of my regulars where I can choose what I want on my potatoes. I wouldn’t necessarily say that this is a good place for some with celiac and wheat allergy to eat, but I’m not that hypersensitive to any of it so I don’t really worry about cross-contamination issues.
We had never been here before, but wanted to celebrate a birthday so this ended up being our final choice. I have Celiac, and one reason this was the choice was because the menu was clearly marked with GF items. With that said, I am still often nervous about trying an untested place.
Our server, Amber, immediate set my mind at ease by how knowledgeable she was, and she also immediately went back and informed the kitchen. Based on her recommendation, I ended up going with the salmon. Not only was the salmon cooked to perfection, but the kale (kale!) was incredible. It was so good, I want the recipe. Best kale I have ever had.
For those of us who didn't need to be so careful, the food was also labeled "incredible," "mmmmmm," and "so good."
Amber made the experience warm, delightful, and safe (which is important for someone with Celiac), but it also informs the level of care and craft in the whole place. We all left impressed and delighted.
If I could give 20/10 I would. I will be back again, birthday or not, and I'm already looking forward to seeing what their spring/summer menu will entail.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I cannot reiterate enough how grateful I am for the attention and care Amber gave to my dietary needs.
Gluten Free Hard Tacos are a quick 'while on the road' treat. Safe too! One of very FEW places you can find anything GF to eat in "fast food." They were very busy, but changed gloves, made mine carefully, & served hot.
On our way to Beaufort SC from Iowa, we stopped at Spartanburg and decided to try this restaurant. It was amazing. Great menu selection. Our waitress was wonderful. They even accommodated me with gluten free pasta. Prices were very reasonable and portions large.
Order was not right; gluten intolerant but received flour tortilla. Ordered an Izze. I guess it’s best to pay for something and not get to drink it. Why are most Chipotle employees useless? How do I actually get my money back without getting a run-around?
Worst customer service. Sad. Not like all other chick fil an anywhere else. Ordered ice dream for gluten free child and asked lady to add more because it was basically empty and lid was on top - only 3-5 bites total.
Employee with nametag Cecy rolled her eyes and said “ummmm I mean I guess I can ask if they can remake it” while laughing and being condescending.
I just said “no thanks” due to her classless response.
Called and spoke to Brittney since Keith Laws the operator was not available. Told her situation.
Also told her how all bathrooms were covered with urine in floor and not clean. Trash cans overflowing and bathrooms had not been cleaned in ages.
Shocked. Chick fil A is not like this anywhere else. Others are clean, friendly.
Save yourself time and do not stop at this “run down gas station bathroom and rude employees” place.
The Iced Americano was so rich and tasty! They have so many sugar free flavor options as well! I also had the avocado toast with the gluten free bread🤤 Great atmosphere - awesome place to meet with friends or study. I was gonna take it to go and decided to stay and read a book, bc it was so cozy! And they do have outside seating as well!
I've been a fan of papas and beer for years. As a person with celiac disease and a vegan, there are.plenty of options and the spicy paloma drink is tasty!! A few miles from home, gets a monthly visit.
We discovered this absolutely wonderful restaurant yesterday and now it will be our go to when we visit Spartanburg.
The food was amazing, fresh and did not have the typical salty, greasy, wet tastes associated with some lower end Thai restaurants. All the dishes we ordered were so yummy. The Lake Fried Rice, Siam Salmon and fresh spring rolls were all SO good!
The owners Lake and Joe are so passionate about their establishment. They took the time to educate us on their authentic Thai food, how it is prepared and what meals would work best for people with specific requirements such as being vegan or needing gluten free dishes. Being somewhat Thai food snobs, we very much appreciated the personal dining experience that they brought to us. Thank you Lake and Joe!
It was my first time visiting. Christina, was friendly and knowledgeable about Gluten-free. She made sure, I was taking care of and informed me what items are safe to eat. They offer gluten free bread and corn tortillas.
Diego, was in the kitchen and he took the time to speak with me. Diego custom-made grill chicken tacos.
Thank you to Christina and Diego for going above and beyond to make sure my food was made Gluten free. Thank for making my first visit a wonderful experience.
Very cozy with a wide range of seating. I wish they had a more readily available bar menu, because we didn’t even notice there was a bar until well into the meal. My dinner (Emerald Shrimp) was very well plated and decently prepared, though my broccoli was undercooked and quite plain. My partner’s meal (Pork Ginger Stir Fry) was “very flavorful except for the pork”. There are several gluten free dishes (though they do caution about cross contamination) and many vegetarian options.
The service was wonderful, and the waiter even chased after one of our party when she left her phone!
Overall, this is a good place to have a quiet evening with friends or a semi-casual date.
